    The T-14 looked much much better! Remember T-18 is for when it’s bleached to a very pale yellow, that’s why it didn’t work that well! Blue cancels out orange. Purple cancels out yellow

      theyre primarily a dark grey ash (primary tone 1) to counter red and orange
      ash is blueish green - the primary tone 1 is grey ash, secondary tone 4 is red, secondary tone 8 is blue ash

    Once you hit the pale orange and pale yellows and you are ready to tone you must go opposite the color wheel. Yellow needs purple and any orange needs blue. Purple toner will not deposit (tone) orange hair properly at all. Most of the time it will do absolutely nothing. It might pick up the uneven blending of yellow and orange and tone the yellow parts but it can't deposit on orange. It's basic chemistry. Second mistake once your pale orange or pale yellow you do NOT need to use 20 volume. In fact 20 volume will continue to LIFT orange hair and this can affect your level of toning when using T14. Using a 10 volume developer is BEST. You only want to deposit the toner NOT lift. So leave the 20 volume alone. 10 will deposit toner and not alter the chemistry pulling yellow out with a lift will make the T14 less effective because your still lifting. It's also causing unnecessary damage to hair. Using 20 volume doesn't make toner work better. Using 10 volume works for deposit. It's a common mistake people do. It's like taping an aspirin to your forehead for a headache. Not necessary for curing the headache. Just sits on your head. 20 volume is not necessary for toner.

      Unfortunately, Willa toner always tell everybody to use 20 volume but I agree it only needs 10. 20 is destroying your hair, especially after you bleach it

    Wow your hair lifts very well with bleach. 🌟I have dark hair and it lifts red orange 🙃
    I think it came out great but when you toned it with the titanium permanent and semi it looked really good on you!!!🤍

    If your hair after bleaching is an orange tone, you use wella T14 (blue base). If your hair is more of a yellow tone after bleaching, use wella T18 (purple/violet base). If you put T14 on yellow hair, it will turn slightly green.

      @@rachelray3250 I would mix T14 and T18. Then to maintain toning, use T18, if thats the level ash you’d like.😊

    • @JesusChristwaytruthlife
      @JesusChristwaytruthlife 2 роки тому

      @@rachelray3250 of course those yellow and orange shades need to be a very very pale level for both of those toners to take.

    I used t 11 toner but I think t 18 might have been a bit better. I preferred the t 18 on you the t 24 just looked a little off.
    Nice video.

    For less damage I recommend bleaching hair when is slightly wet.

      Nooooooooo. Not true. Wet hair or damp is at its weakest . Now you can put coconut oil before bleaching and it really helps. Looooove how it saves hair. Also try ions cream bleach. Lifts great waaay less damaging than the powder.

    You would be happier if you bleached it 1 more time. It was too orange when you toned it.
