FYI- I typed in "reseller videos" on youtube and this was the first video in bold at the top. Keep killing it. Nice job. Ebay store looks good too 1800 listed and 162 low sell through rate. Your items appear to be close to retail value but I know nothing about womens clothing. I would recommend you do a sale 50% off for one week (start it Monday and end it Sunday) and get your sales up to support the $15K in inventory cost you have listed right now.

Great video and finds! How do you prepare your shoes for resale? Do you do a lot of cleaning or sell them as is? I’m ready to jump back into Poshmark and just starting eBay, after several years off. In the past I have mostly bought clothing. Shoes that aren’t new make me nervous. Thank you for any advice.
Hey! Thank you so much! Honestly I don't take very much time at all if any to clean the shoes that I pick up. I also will pick up shoes even if they're not in perfect pre-owned condition depending on the brand and how much wear they do have. I just always make sure that I provide photos of every possible angle of the shoes. That way the buyer knows and can see the wear if there is any. Along with making any wear disclosed in the description and directing them to carefully review the photos. Hope that helps!!!♥️ Welcome back to reselling! Wishing you tons of sales. 🥰

Hey! Thank you so much for watching and for all the great questions! I'll be posting a new video up today with some other fun finds. All my clothes that I have in my closet are all things that I've found from the thrift store so I definitely do end up keeping some stuff from myself! Haha. Everything that is on my Poshmark is on eBay and vice versa. I actually sell about the same on each platform. I have almost 2,000 active listings. And I try to list between 10 to 15 items a day. As for sourcing. I currently source once a week from 9am-5pm and that's because I have three kiddos that are on summer break right now so I try and fit a week's worth of thrifting in one day. Typically during the school year I go two to three times a week and spend around 3 hours each time. Hope you are having a great weekend! ♥️😊

I love your videos! How do you find the "sell through rate"?
Thank you! I search for the item on eBay and then it will show you the number of active listings then you click on solds for that item and then it will show you the number of sold listings. So if the active listing number is the same as the sold number that's 100% sell through rate and if the sold number is greater than the active number it's over 100% sell through. Hope that helps! 🥰🤗

At our GOODWILLS, they pull all the name brands. It’s almost impossible to find anything valuable to sell.😢

What happens when u don’t sell a lot of merchandise ??? What do u do ??
If I wasn't selling very much I would be more selective in my purchases and make sure I'm only buying items that have over a 100% sell through rate, that way I know I will be getting my return on investment back fast in order to put on more product. I personally wouldn't have picked up any style base pick-ups because those are more risky and there's no real way to base how fast they will sell. Also run sales on your stores, be open to offers, and be active on the platform daily even if you don't have anything to list (edit/ update listings & ship daily).

To be successful in resale, it seems you definitely have to cater to many demographics & people with very different styles all while knowing your stuff. Sometimes I think I would want to go into resale but I'd have a hard time buying something I personally would never wear.
You definitely do. Some items I've gotten are things I personally would never wear and those sometimes are the things that sell the fastest for a good amount of money. I've had other people comment saying that some of my pick ups are ugly and "grandma like" and those are things that sell fast with a high profit margin. Haha. I think you can find success reselling even if you only pick up things that you personally like too. It's honestly a ton of fun. 🥰☺️
