I also live in Washington, and go to a few different Goodwills and their prices are so much higher. They have what’s called the Boutique section with black and white price tags/labels that are not part of their color tag sales. Where in WA are you? I resell vintage clothing exclusively, but those are priced high as well, but I still manage to find great deals at other thrift stores. With all that said… I’m a first time viewer and I really enjoyed your video!

I love your videos! I have learned so much from them. I have been seriously reselling for about 1 year and have learned from so many mistakes. I love your videos because you don't fall into the whole "bolo" philosophy. I know you have some tried and true like Chico's etc., but you have a great eye and you seem to use your instinct. Have you always been into fashion or did this come about from just many many years of reselling? You do have some great thrift stores in your area though. I live in central Massachusetts and unfortunately much harder to find great items like that on regular basis. I do think I need to travel a bit west towards Boston to find those great items. I love seeing you pick items up at the regular goodwill! I have a few times and did really good on the items. After watching you it helps me be more picky as those prices tend to be higher. I am more of a goodwill bins shopper mostly because of the pricing, but prefer to go to a normal thrift stores with racks. I'm hoping to be able to get to a point where I no longer go to the bins and only the regular goodwills and my local outlet. It's just so pricey for a regular goodwill for me right now as I just started a year ago. Great haul and can't wait to watch the next one! ❤

I found 2 arcteryx mens tops, Alo leggings, and Bed Stu chunky heels 😌and some other goodies so it was a good day! And those prices 😍 so hopefully my finds are your encouragement ♥️ regular goodwill is amazing too so def do a mix always worth it 😌♥️

I found $40 in a pair of cargo pants I bought at a community garage sale when I was visiting out of state relatives. Didn’t even know it until I got home to wash them. Yippee….my dog dug up a $5 bill once

I've been reselling for many years. I never really find much in the pockets. Once I bought a vintage Pendleton blazer and it had a brooch on it. I didn't think anything of it. I later found it was a Rebajes copper brooch and I sold it for $476. However last week I put a blazer in the dryer to get the wrinkles out (I didn't feel like steaming that day). I take the blazer out, shake it to get those last wrinkles out, and hang it up to photograph. I notice a piece of metal hanging off one of the front buttons. I think it's part of the blazer that came off and find this not to be the case. I almost throw it out without really looking at it. I then look closer and realize it is an earring. I'm thinking it's junk but decide to look closer. It's marked 18k gold and says D 1.96 ct. I immediately run to my dryer to look for other earring. It was caught up in my lint trap. I bring them to a few jewelry places and ended up selling them to jeweler for $3624. I had a few other pieces that were meh but ended up walking out with about $4K. It went straight to bills (like my washing machine had just died the day prior). I wish I could have put toward vacation for me and my boys as it's been almost 5 years since any vacation but these bills won't go away lol!

Hey! So I have found that sizing for shoes does matter. I really don't like to pick up smaller sizes. When I have in the past they've just ended up sitting in my inventory. Sizes 35-36.5 would be ones that I would pass on unless they were a really good brand with a high sell-through rate. ❤️☺️
My daughter found 5.00 dollars in a pair of joggers they were 1.00 bills. I just assumed they had them in their joggers for water. 😂😂

The items you find I could never find in my goodwills. Do you think the fact that you are going early is why you find the best items? Maybe my stores has this stuff too but because I am a part time reseller by the time I get to the stories in the evening all the good stuff is gone. Have you ever gone to your stores later in the day and found goods items as you do earlier in the day?
I honestly don't know. Do you know on average what time your Goodwill starts rolling out their new racks? Mine typically gets going at 11 so I like to be there in the morning first thing to look over the place and be ready for the new items to get on the floor.
Fantastic haul! I found money twice! The first time was $22 in a pair of mens shorts and the second time was $6 in a jacket pocket. It's always exciting when you get an item home and discover money hiding in a pocket!

So how I do it is I just type in exactly what I'm looking for into the eBay search and with that it will provide you with a number of active listings at the bottom. And if you go over to the right side filter, you can click on solds and then that will also provide you with a number of sold listings. Hope that helps! 🥰♥️

Hmm I don't agree with that. In my experience, keywords in descriptions/theme sections make a big difference. I've even sold an unbranded vintage dress for $70 because of keywords pulling it through. Definitely won't hurt to try. 🥰☺️

Does this ever feel a little unethical? I mean you’re really upselling these items from what I can see when the idea is that people can get affordable second hand options… I understand reselling is a full time job for people, but something feels unsettling about it…
No not at all. Especially since I know that BILLIONS of pounds of clothes are sent to landfills each year from the US alone. If anything selling used clothes helps give those items a longer life away from the landfills. Where I live there are 16 thrift stores that are stocked daily with new clothing items. On average when I go to a store I pick up 40 items max and I only go once a week, the store puts out hundreds of items a day just at one location. There is enough to go around for whoever wants to pay the price listed at the store including people who need affordable clothing or for people who want to earn money for their family to be fed and clothed. I have three kiddos with special needs and selling clothes made it so I could work from home and be with them while also financially contributing to my household.

I do think the negative feelings about reselling stem from people who buy out everything at home goods or concert tickets and sell for insane amounts, making it overall have a negative connotation.
