Loving this series and I am amazed at your success at Greenbo! You caught a cold water giant for sure (what an incredible trout!)!! I still can’t believe you caught any bass at Greenbo - in December - in 40ish degree water! That’s just proof of your experience and skill as a fisherman! I can guarantee you that that was a hold over trout and probably several years old - from what I have seen trout can survive in Greenbo but not thrive. Keep up the quest and I look forward to your next adventure - tight lines my friend!
Not that I ever fish for them, but that’s easily the biggest trout I’ve ever caught. I was surprised how aggressively it bit and then rolled all the way to the boat like a catfish. Maybe I’ll get out there again soon and finish the mission!
Stay after it, last week at Yatesville I was catching them on 7 and 9 inch glide baits they catch big fish but you would be surprised at the 2-3 pounders that eat it, I feel like the trout colored Chad shad would be fire out there, nice video and good luck
Put the jerk bait up, seems like you are stuck to a belief of cold water jerk baits. Switch it up, you’ll catch fish on that but I truly don’t think you’ll meet your goal with it
@@dannycaudill70 I’m starting to feel the same. The lake is hard to fish bottom contact baits because of the abundance of grass that still exists. Just using the jerkbait to keep it above it. I’m thinking a lipless next time.
Good video, Tyler! I've caught a lot of trout out of Greenbo and never caught one like that!
It’s a great lake, you never know what you’re going to hook! Congrats on your UA-cam success lately! Amazing work!
@@OnAnotherLine Thanks, Man!

@ I was shocked and now I am going back on Monday - you have shown me there are monsters biting at Greenbo!!

Good call on the glide baits! I’ll give it a go.
Keep up the quest!
Hoping to keep it going until it freezes!
When the water turns under 45 I really just barely twitch the jerkbait to get bites good fish on the jig
@@mickybullard2867 thanks for the tip!
