Sam Sulek is the single best thing since sliced bread. much more of this coming soon. but of course ill keep the attention span edible bites of content too Haha
Overedited stuff? This dude is a legend and seems perfectly honest and your going to insult him? I love every video I have seen of him. He's doing things perfectly fine.
David, I know you probably won’t get as many views on this longer video as you do some of your shorts, but I really appreciate this one! It gave me the best understanding of your approach so far, which helps me work on my flexibility goals to be able to restart doing my passion which is martial arts. Thanks! ✌️💛🙏
Hearing you breathe through your splits stretches made me feel so much better about my stretching. It is a struggle sometimes but we hold that 30 secs and sometimes come out of them saying “oh me oh my that hurts”
Heres the thing, I love longer videos cuz you have more time to demonstrate your moves and we can even follow along. I tend to be a visual learner and i appreciate this video and all future videos you make.
Finally a video of instruction i can work along side, with great descriptions of WHY, so many people forget explaining the why of things regarding stretching, they only say how of stretching. A good selection of different stretches not overly produced just a guy genuinely sharing his info in a lovely outside setting. Subscribed 😊
10:53 I started doing those a while ago after seeing this in yoga where they just sink in and stretch. I figured I'd make a calisthenics exercise out of it and it became the same movement David does here. This is one of the best mobility exercises I've experienced, and I think it's great for improving kicking, if you're into martial arts.
I really appreciate you, it’s so much easier for me to stay motivated to exercise when I have a video to follow along with / keep me company! Would love a real-time walkthrough of your ebooks to stretch along to 😊
I've had flexibility issues my whole life, and only recently started really focusing on it in my yoga thanks to you. PLEASE make this a series! Much love, brother.
I practiced with you, that was amazing 👏 id been practicing yoga for about 10 years and i didnt know i could sit up during a butterfly, that stretch never really did much for me before, thank you for teaching me how to unlock greater potential ❤keep doing what youre doing because its so helpful for others too! Stay flexy my stretchy friend ✌️
David your one of a kind, a True Legend to behold I'd say. Keep flipping the fitness world on it's head right on the journey with ya brother.#StayFlexy
I wanted to say thank you. You have inspired me to start back up with my daily stretches. My current goal is working towards a full split which is something I never fully acheived even when I streatched most days of the week in martial arts.
i focussed on flexibility after bodybuilding for years, and it was good, i felt amazing... but one day i measured my biceps and they were 14inches, and then i went to lift the older weights i lifted and was shocked how weak i was... my problem now is that weight lifting makes my muscles so tight that to have both size strength and flexibility, for me at least, seems impossible when you see athletes like jujimufu, it's unbelievably impressive to be that strong and flexible also wanted to mention for anyone interested in doing flexibility training, you will eventually get all these stretches and exercises, like you will 'get it'... i never done my research into these stretches and ended up discovering them purely on my own, these stretches are very intuitive and if you spend enough time focussing your body, tightness and building that connection you will become like this
Discovered your videos in December, and figured I wanted to give mobility/flexibility training a try since I sit a lot at work and I've started noticing my body being a bit prone to aches and pains since entering my 30's. To my massive surprise, I think this is the first time in a decade that I've been able to sustain a training programme so consistently for so long. I've been doing exercises from your free ebooks 6 days a week for several weeks now. It's also been amazing to feel the results. I can touch my toes for the first time since I was a kid, I don't make a noise when I sit down, and taking walks has gone from an uncomfortable necessity to genuinely pleasant now that I no longer feel a bunch of tightness, pops and clicks in my hips and knees when I walk. I've wanted to take better care of my body for many, many years, and now you've influenced me to finally do it, and it just feels amazing.
DUUDE LITERALLY LAST WEEK I STARTED TRAINING FLEXIBILITY THANKS TO YOU. Not gonna lie it was hard to figure out what to do to improve my flexibility so this is incredibily helpful! Thank you dude and well... I guess we will turn and then stay flexy.
Man if this becomes semi-consistent type of content, it’s gonna become part of my routine similar to how I watch Sam Sulek daily for motivation. LETS GO
Hey David, It be pretty neat if you can do a follow along on your ebooks stuff! Some of the exercise in the book are easy, but some are quite hard for myself (duck walk). Having shown an easier version would've been nice
I really appreciate this kind of video! I’d love to see more. I watched this while stretching myself. I used to be a bit more flexible and I’m hoping to get super super flexible!! Hoping to get my splits !!!
hey thank you for this, it popped into reccomendation as i was going to strech after a long time. When i started to strech, there were basically no too much available information on this topic, but basically was always doing the stuff you do in this video. It was nice to switch up my routine a little bit.
Feel blessed to be able to enjoy this lesson from a flexymaster, while casually getting into some absolute plebian noob stretching myself. - Thank you! ❤️🙌🏻
I would love to see more stretching and workout videos, cause everything you showed has been more theoretical until now, i am missing the specific exercises, so it would be great if you upload more longer videos!
Hello, really love this kind of content, I'm not really into short shortvids, but love your longer videos ! Please do a full flexibility or mobility routine soon ! I've been craming your 10 minutes follow along but would love more specific too
Right off the bat it's nice to know some stretches you can only do after warming up - I'm learning to touch my toes with your guidance, and when I'm warm I'm almost there, but when I try cold I've still got a bit to go, so yeah god bless you!
Just discovered you, I’ve been able to do a human pretzel since 2nd grade but I’ve always wanted to go further. This’ll be a good New Year’s resolution, getting even more flexible :)
I would never say that I will feel the love for stretching. I’m so glad that You have implemented something so important to my life bro, thanks David. xoxo cross the oceans buddy
The weirdest thing for me, is when my hips are nice and loose (and that takes work, cause my hip flexors do not want to loosen up) my sense of humor goes to 11. Like, any little thing that's even remotely funny will set me off. When my hips are tight, it's just not the same. Bodies be weird.
Oh David, you are such a smart boy. I loved all your vids and shorts from the beginning and i learned a LOT from it. But i tend to loose track of the important bits of information if a video is going for such a length. Would be nice, if future videos could be on a specific point and focused on it alone but on some sidestories. I am quite sure, on a long term, stretched videos don't track as much viewers as short ones - even if the UA-cam algorithm goes for longer videos to place ads.
been following you for a while. love your content. dude. would love a series. a program sth from you to tell me how to regain ankle moblity . i have flat foot. and my right foot can do a pistol squat no problem . good enough flexibility mobility. happy with that. the left foot has some serious issues. cant do 20% of what the right can do. i would love it to b closer to the right foot mobility
Hey David, I was wondering if you contract any muscles while holding the pancake or the middle split, or if you just try to relax every muscle? Thanks for your conent, it really motivated a lot. Keep it up, cheers :)
One exercise I love to do is what we call here in Brazil : bridge... It is when strecth you back, you lie with your back to the floor, but your hands on the floor next to year and just pull, almost like an inverted plank...
So interesting to see this. I'm kind-of opposite to you. I find middle splits easy, even oversplits, but the front splits are hard work for me. Hamstrings and lower back are a hard slog for me. I can do front splits, but I would never try it cold. :)
I have like a pinch-pain in left side lower back while doing pancake. The way the pains reduce is by sitting in the pancake posture, engage my glutes trying open legs (even if it is not moving), engage my abs to push my belly towards to the ground and engage my back, to make it straight from the lower to upper part. Now I know I was doing good-morning pancakes. :D
hey David thank you for your videos they really do help a lot!!! i was wondering what kind of shoes are you wearing? id like to start wearing barefoot shoes as well but dont know where to start would love your recommendation, thank you!!
I’m new to stretching. So I gather from watching this that the middle split is a hard on to get (especially if new). One should get better at the other stretches first
First of all great video, thanks for sharing it really helps understanding how to progress on flexibility. Second, ARE YOU REALLY WEARING SHORT SLEEVES IN JANUARY?
Hell yea, i see Sam has influenced the community well. Instead of overedited stuff, just raw, enjoyable videos are becoming more popular by the day

Thank you, David, for revolutionizing the way we look at sports and mobility!
You are a great patron in this topic :D keep on!
You are the only one who motivates me to do a self care routine of my body ! Thanks a lot for everything you do :)
this was great, love the lack of rush and lower energy
You should do a video experiment where you go to a jiu jitsu class. You woukd probably do very well with your specific fitness level
Everything about this guy is hypnotic, i could watch him and listen to him forever

love these kind of longer video on flexibility, you knows so much we have a lot to learn from you

Nice video!!
Please do more beginner stretching videos, it will help a lot with where to start.

Me too I managed to flatten my lower baby belly that I worked on with different sit ups and planks for years

Good day!
Yeah same boat, I love his stuff and started small so far but I wish I had like a weekly routine that hits all of the body
What stretches to do in 10 mins is another vid by David (pretty sure thats his name) and also helps explains stuff i didnt 100% understand
The elevated butterfly is something I've never seen before! A brilliant video thanks 😊
I absolutely love this video because it shows how much you work on your flexibility. I always know but this shows what you do and your process!
He be flexin
I just got my front splits while watching this video I'm so happy thank you David for the amazing advice and video ❤

Thank you very much for this follow along stretching exercise. You are super awesome!
Since this video came out I started watching this video and doing it with you 3 times a week 😄
Nice video man! I enjoyed the more relaxed and slow paced style!
Love It, pls keep up with theses long videos
Can you create more of these longer videos that show us your stretches love your videos.
Thanks brilliant video ❤
Great upload really helpful watching you move
You should definitely do a series of quick shoulder, legs, hips, etc exercises.
Do you plan to do a follow along video doing the stretched from your free online guides? Or any sort of follow along video for beginners?
I can relate. when I was younger, I practiced martial arts, and I was always stretching out and trying to stay limber.
Just discovered you, I’ve been able to do a human pretzel since 2nd grade but I’ve always wanted to go further. This’ll be a good New Year’s resolution, getting even more flexible :)

I hope to see more UA-cam videos from you.
The weirdest thing for me, is when my hips are nice and loose (and that takes work, cause my hip flexors do not want to loosen up) my sense of humor goes to 11. Like, any little thing that's even remotely funny will set me off.

Your body stores a lot of trauma! Perhaps when you loosen up, you let go of something that stops you from laughing as much as you’d like
