Our very first Randy Travis reaction and boy was I taken by surprise what a voice! Do you know Randy? What was your first song for him? Let's Connect: linktr.ee/mrspenpal ❤️
Wow yesterday I asked you to do some 60s and country , and I wake up to this! Thanks, yes I know it was someone else’s request, but it’s much appreciated.. So many great country songs to discover.. 💕. The next Randy Travis should be ..On The Other Hand
Yes but best believe, I also had you in mind once I read your comment yesterday I looked to see what I had ready that would meet your need, so I knew posting this today, you would appreciate it😇
Great reaction - - you Really felt it! And so did we. And Yes, Randy was/is a Legend. This performance was actually a little different from his usual style. He's not usually so 'Showbiz.' But don't worry, even regular Randy is still Amazing! Thx. for the great vibe.
Randy is a country music legend. He was probable the top singer from mid 80s thru 90s with many #1 hits. Hard to choose a favorite but mine is "I told you so' but all are great songs.
You would also like "Don't Close Your Eyes" by the late great Keith Whitley. His voice, like Randy, is one of a kind. Sucks that he passed away early from alcoholism, I think only 4 years into his recording career. Had a ton of hit songs on just a few albums.
It's a country song done in a bluesy doo-wop 1950's style. Randy Travis is very unique...so many great songs too! I can think of 4 other songs like this that you'd love: Billy Joe Royal - Like a rocket Ronnie Milsap - Lost in the 50's Tracey Lawerence - I see it now Keith Whitley - Homecoming 63
If you like this, obviously you should listen to more Randy Travis, but also maybe "Would Y9u Go With Me" by Josh Turner. They also both performed live together, with is pretty cool. You'd like hearing both of their voices together.
Randy Travis has had a wonderful career. Unfortunately his stroke cut it very shorter then it should of been. He was one of the artist in the 80's that really helped out country music to gain exposure and then expanding from what it had been. You could pick just about any of his songs and wouldn't go wrong doing a reaction for them. I would suggest - Point Of Light , Three Wooden Crosse's , Blue Mesa. I could keep listing songs but i will limi them to the songs I already listed.
An ENORMOUS talent, unfortunately he suffered a stroke and emergency brain surgery in 2013, losing the ability to speak and control on the right side of his body. He has 70 solo singles, 16 of which hit #1 and 13 more in the top ten of The Billboard Country Singles. This song has always been my favorite song by this artist. Great reaction, TY.
Randy does well however the original artist can’t be beaten. And that’s Brook Benton. Maybe you’ll do that one sometime. Great reaction! Here’s Brook Benton: ua-cam.com/video/UvgJ1XusYXk/v-deo.htmlsi=3_HTpcDPijvxWW5t

Man, I've been waiting months upon months for someone to finally react to this one, instead of just "Three Wooden Crosses".

“I’m Gonna Love You Forever”. Our song after wedding vows as we walked back down the aisle together. A perfect love song.
Such a great interpretation of a beautiful song.

Try barry white
3 wooden crosses
Randy is good, no complaints, but you should listen to the original by Brook Benton.
It's so sad that he had a massive stroke and almost died. But he'll never sing like that again.
