I first heard of this player when Ant talked about him on an interview. He said the one thing they always have to worry about the Rockets is "No. 28." Explaining that they always had to draw plays against him. Like, hearing that just instantly made me respect this player. He's playing in a team that was clearly tanking and had no need to win yet people still had to draw plays against him because he's that impactful on the floor. I really hope the Rockets develop Sengun in a similar fashion the Nuggets did for Jokic.
Alperen might have a break out season the way he played in the elimination games for the Olympics even though we lost to Croatia, he was ballin there is a lot of potential
@@BiggidyBnot a good idea you don’t want to throw those two in the fire let the slowly get the hang of things amen needs time to develop off the bench where he doesn’t feel pressured but just being able to get great minutes and work on developing and learning from our vets Fred should be the point green the two Tari at the three bari at 4 and alp at the 5 or you can play around with it and have brooks at the three and Tari at the 6th man there is so many great lineups you can come with this team I’m excited
turkish rockets fan here, its nice to see him improve and look for new developments, but Alperen still has issues psychologically on the court, in the match aganist the Croatia, Alperen did two fouls and lost his temper after the 3rd foul he did. He fights for the win, but that character of him sometimes makes him lose his temper and be really reckless betting on a lot of risky passes. In Croatia match, the things were similar and i believe he did around like 4-5 turnovers in one match, ending it with a really bad performance overall. The improvement on him is still good and im glad with it as well, but he still has things to improve, hope VanFleet and more experienced players like him would guide him psychologically aswell.
He listenes to others, prepare a plan on the road and super in to training. (Also got taller) On 2020(18) Scout report list negatives as: Scoring, sloveness, dripple, jump, 3P, FT, shot defence and not using his strengths more. On 2021(19) His positives got better and negatives got lower. Foul problem and language barrier added. On 2022(20) FT, scoring, dripple, got much better, language barrier and faul problem lessened. On 2023(21) Started to play like the star. His name began to heard. Future : Alperen did not want to join Turkish Camp but rather be included to matchs directly. Rejected! Until that, he focused on 2 aspects. One private trainer for lower body strength to increase jump&spead and another private trainer for shooting. ... As he told during an interview.
