- Alperen Sengun is a young player that has seemingly been under the radar for a while. So far in the NBA, he has only shown flashes of what he could be, and putting up good, but not eye popping numbers. I predict that he won’t be an under the radar prospect for long however. What I have seen from him indicates to me that he has all that it takes to be the next great passing big man in the NBA, and while no one is Nikola Jokic, Sengun, in my opinion, has the chance to be the closest thing to it. So today, we are gonna break down Sengun’s game to see what he does well, what he needs to work on, and what I think his NBA ceiling truly is.

He has a shot similar to Al Horford. I can see that being his ceiling. What sets him apart is he is a smart player similar to Jokic. I think he is destined to be a star.
About passing you considered assist numbers. You are right but there is a one thing you didn't mention. How many assists turning to bricks in the hand of rest of team? So if i pass you so good and you are open and you miss, you also destroy my assist which is happening often in rockets. I just wish you watch matches not just highlights. With watching whole match i think you can create better videos. Good job keep continue :)
Appreciate it. I will say I’ve seen some rockets games and while I do agree that if they were more efficient his assist numbers would be up slightly, I still think the main driving factor for his lower assist stats is simply because they don’t focus the offense around him as much. For example Kevin Porter Jr. had over 2 assists more per game than Sengun and I think that’s primarily due to usage
@@hoophierarchy You are right indeed. I just dreaming how it can be if dallas take Alperen not C.Wood. Seeing Alperen with Luka can be very delightful i guess. He is little bit unlucky because of the team he is in. But it's my opinion ofc.
Lol i watch his games, he is extremely efficient, and the chemistry is only building and the anticipation is growing play by play, all these kids were drafted at age 19 basically and still growing, learning and building chemistry. So go ahead and settle down, we are watching an all-star in the making, enjoy it.

Ppl don't realize how loaded the Rockets are now, drafted 9 players in the 1st rd in the last 3 drafts while rebuilding. Now that they are finished rebuilding they found 6 potential elite all-stars in those 9 picks and traded the rest for the pitbull Dillon Brooks, and scooped up NBA champion PG VanVleet to help teach these youngsters by example and to finish the rebuild they hired the elite potential HC Ime Udoka who will whip them into shape and control the team. Not to mention bc of the Harden trade, the Rockets own all of BKN's 1st rd picks until 2028 and they don't have any of the BIG 3 left, no Harden, no KD or Irving, lol only Ben Simmons. So I imagine out of those 4 picks, a few lottery picks and possibly a top 5 or so pick to add or reload a player whose contract is too high possibly.

SG - Jalen Green(#2) & Aaron Holiday (unless KPJ shit gets self defense somehow)

That's actually 6 drafts picks all inside the Top 20 & 3 of them being inside the Top 4. And Sengun was at #16 & plays like a top 5 pick, his development is skyrocketing, needs minutes now.

He should only get better especially now that the rockets have a new coach ,ime udoka took the Celtics to the finals
