I feel that if you are shooting vitals, it needs to be closest to the center, after scoring. Especially on a moose or elk with larger vitals. You could miss heart but be back a few inches into the lung and still be a better placement than forward the same distance and into shoulder. That being said, random release discrepancies should be taken to the traditional style targets for easier scoring.
Definitely should do a rematch unknown distance!! Only 1 non shooter knows the distance and gives you an in between for example say the distance is 37 they would tell you it’s between 25 and 50 it’s up to the shooter to make the final decision where you think it is you can’t tell anyone what distance you shot at either because it helps them narrow down which would be unfair
Hey Brother. I think closest to center is the way the winner should be determined. The whole time, nobody was keeping track of points, so points shouldn't be used on the final shot, unless previously agreed upon. Don't worry about sending one over the moose, I would've done that on every other target. All the others would've been anywhere other than in foam. Lol. I have a tough enough time with my release, so using someone elses would be a recipe for disaster.
On 3D targets you can’t really do score and closer to center because of how the score shapes are on a target. The only time possible would be inside the ten ring.
Great video! - Now, how did you cut each person on each target? They were furthest from center. So why should the end be different. It was an "elimination style' as stated at start.
Off topic of this video but i see you do alot of budget builds to test . Im curious for honest feedback of the 200$ amazon bow the dragon x8.. would be pretty cool/ cheap video lol
Start at 200 yards from each other. Shoot arrows at each other, getting 10 yards closer each volley. Last one standing on the field of honor wins. *this is a joke*
Final two teams. No random release. Closest to center only, no scoring matters. 7 targets. Losing team does a cold plunge in January for the first vid of the new year.
@@TimConnor13 Guy walks into a bar. Orders a drink and notices there's three steaks hanging above his head. He asked the bartender what was up and the bartender tells him if you can jump and touch the steaks you drink free for the night, but if you miss you pay for everyone's tab. The guy asks if he has to decide now and the bartender tells him it's an open challenge. After about three or four more rounds the bartender asks if he's gonna do it or not. The man looks up again... "Nah, the steaks are too high."
Gotta get all the rules laid out up front. With a measuring tape to center of 11? ring. Or shoot at field targets? No shots farther than 50. Shots out like 70+ are just basically guesses on where the pin really is at the break. Looking for best shot not best lucky shot break.
Score trumps closest to center when the arrow hits a leg bone in a real animal. The scoring fields are not shaped weird for no reason. It is to teach you to avoid internal obstructions like bone etc. So scoring trumps closest to center.
Good times slinging carbon w/ da boys! How close is everyone to their opening day?
This Saturday here in Utah! Threw my back out though so hoping it’ll be better by Saturday so I can be in the mountains!
Antelope going in Wyoming.
@@Pr1mitiveHunter good luck!
@@ZacPalus-zr9hh get it ✊
100% closest to center as that's what was the agreed on format from the beginning.
100% . But do something else anyways!
IMO there were no losers. You shot some arrows with your boys - win, win.
I heard that.. although we all wanted the dub 😂
Tim has the best content . Seems like an honest and sincere human being.
looks like fun! Good to be out with friends- closest to center.
Closest to center. Those were the rules at the start. Nothing was said about score when rules were being set at the start.
Closest to center wins, since furthest away loses. But still do something else, because this was awesome.
Closest to center for sure
Closest to center means closest to center. If that is how the majority interpreted it then that’s how it should have been judged.
Looks like fun! You guys got a great group there!
Closest to center.👍🏻🎯
Great video. Great time.
I say he wins. Closest to center is what you guys were playing that should be who wins. Another great video.
You never said anything about score, only closest to center. Implied or assumed has nothing to do with it.
Stop crying.

I love this challenge. It sounds like a lot of fun.

I totally agree
Closest to center is closest to center regardless of score IMO
Noted ✊
I jumped the same way with my Scott verge when I first got it lol. If you're not used to it it happens

I think it was a blast shooting with the boys. That’s a win to me. 🎉
Sweet video man.🤓What are those clicks before the bow shoots for noobs?
Nolan’s arrows are wagging like that dog’s tail
That looks fun!
Very fun, I look forward to this vid every year
Hey, good time! Score 1st

What quivers are yall using?
Gonna need some insight on that aae airazr pro everyone shootin??
Let's go! 🏹
Both archers should cook up a piece of the decoy and let everyone vote on which one tastes the best. They are the winner.
That stan solex is the only ind3x i will use. Its a very good release for cheap. Its what i use. Love it
Very,very nice video sir..👍👍🤗🤗🎯🎯

*this is a joke*
😅😂😂😂😂
With your honor in question it must be pistols at 21 paces or maybe paintball with appropriate safety gear :)
Mfjj shot was way high when shot but magically was just off everyone else when they eliminated him lol
It's all fun and games when learning a hinge until you punch yourself in the face.
Closest to center as stated in the rules you laid out in the beginning.
Where do I get that target panic shirt tim
Was that a fade to earth title 36?
Re-shoot, no range finders permitted, no telling anyone what you shot it at until everyone has shot that target.
Points make the most sense. BUT……yall played closest to center the entire day. They won
Shoot at 100 yards and pick a $35 -45 dollar release to end the tie closest arrow to killshot wins
Does josh have bear spray in his harness or is it sunscreen?
That would be so difficult.
How does Michael have a title 36 in fade to black?
Aftermarket paint job
Zactly.. customed out
Score and closest to center makes sense to me
Why Tim is not using a back bar?
It’s just a lightweight smaller rig.. it’s well balanced tho
Hey, is that consaquence2 ?
Where can I get that shirt?!😂
Whitetail fit
Drew's arrows are flying terrible....
Slow mo is a great check and balance
Exactly what I was thinking. Some of the worst flight I've ever seen. Nolan was shooting lazer beams.
Closest to center.
3 rounds of Vegas at 20 with the other team’s personal releases.
Just wondering why it looks so hard for mfjj to pull his bow back?
Score, then closest to center
Score should be priority if same score has been shot closer to center
Closest to center
Closest to center. Never said anything about score.
You said closest to center. So the scoring rings have nothing to do with it.
Score than closer to center
Final two teams. No random release. Closest to center only, no scoring matters. 7 targets. Losing team does a cold plunge in January for the first vid of the new year.
Cold beans 🥶

In the beginning of the video Tim stated closest to center takes it. No mention of score what so ever. 😢
I say a re shoot between the top 2 teams
Lots of bad arrow flight mfjj should get to work on those bows
Mine has a new string on the way and then a tune up is definitely in store😂

With y’all’s archery skills it should be a given. Score then closes to center
Closer to center since that is the actual point of aim
Closest to center for sure
