Hunting is not all about the kill. To get so close to a bull moose was epic in itself and to capture it on video was awesome. Hi clay you are a inspiration to many people your family are very Lucky I thought your thoughts on memories was so true, you always remember the hard times and the good times that you go through in life, I think dragging a big red deer would be hard enough but a big bull omg, great video take care all the very best from a fan in Yorkshire uk 👍👍
A great adventure. I enjoyed the movie length video. When you do get a bull moose, consider saving and drying the front shoulder scapula as they are awesome for scraping the willows to imitate a bull. Nice job on the birch bark cone for calling too.
What an amazing adventure Clay. Some great hunting and incredible memories. What you said at 1hr16min was very true but I do think it takes time to realize it. The true worry is that they may never know it. Nate
Great work Clay, it's a hell of an experience being that close to any animal, nevermind one as large as a moose. Great footage, it looked like a blast. Try again next year!

Had me holding my breath when you called that second one in😂❤👊🏼
Living in the city, your videos are like a breath of fresh air. Greetings From Romania!
Edit: Also love the thoughts you shared with us. Awesome video!
Thank you so much!
Brother is that your freakin heartbeat when he walks out? INTENSE!
Yep
At 38 minutes I swear I heard your heart beating. At 44 min that time lapse was freaking gorgeous. All around well done Clay. Well done brother.
Thanks 👍
Good close encounters! It's better to wait and be absolutely sure than not and end up being short.
Incredible, thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the vdieo next week.
Thanks for watching!
Exciting hunt! He was definitely 50”+
That’s what I thought. Just wasn’t 100% sure in the moment. I’ll definitely be back though!
Top tier stuff as always, Clay. Can't believe you haven't already hit a million subs!
I’ll get there!
An encounter is all I ever ask of nature, sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't, it's always worth the time spent encounter or not, thanks for the ride!
"KEEP ON KEEPIN ON"
Absolutely!
Moose hunting is so different than deer or elk hunting. Moose wander around all day long and we have taken quite a few moose in the mid afternoon in Northern Ontario Canada. Great video!
So awesome man! I'm fortunate enough to live this lifestyle everyday up the Yukon a ways from where you were at, I love seeing how well you document it!
Thanks for another great video. It's a great escape from laying bricks in Yorkshire England. Always inspires me to get out fishing or walking. Even get the bow out. Just can't hunt with it. Also thanks for not selling out to sponsors and just making quality films
Man I was rooting for you. Glad you still had a good trip.
I appreciate it!
Absolutely incredible footage and adventure.
I'm A Florida boy Clay. I can't believe I've been in Alaska twice in the last year,so priviledged. I really enjoyed this video. I was up east on the Yukon river,we did 160 miles. I want to do another 200 miles soon.
awesome hunt and video, thanks!
I completely lost track of time watching this video. It flew by. Great video.👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it
You instigated that fight bro! Lol, that was a cool experience for sure!
No doubt!
Thanks so much
A great adventure. I enjoyed the movie length video. When you do get a bull moose, consider saving and drying the front shoulder scapula as they are awesome for scraping the willows to imitate a bull. Nice job on the birch bark cone for calling too.
Thank ya
What an epic adventure my brother!
Thank you for sharing your energy with us.
Love, Health and positive thoughts for you and your Family!
Thank ya
What an amazing adventure Clay. Some great hunting and incredible memories. What you said at 1hr16min was very true but I do think it takes time to realize it. The true worry is that they may never know it.
Nate
Very true
Generally speaking, I hate hunting videos. I love yours though because I KNOW you're hunting ethically. Great stuff, Clay!
I live in Alaska and I love it! It’s so beautiful and you can’t beat the hunting and fishing
Great work Clay, it's a hell of an experience being that close to any animal, nevermind one as large as a moose. Great footage, it looked like a blast. Try again next year!
Couldn't agree more!
What an awesome spot, reminds me a lot of New Zealand, except for the bears!
Those bears add another dimension!
Your content is some of the best anywhere. So close....you didn't want to haul a half ton animal out of the Alaskan bush anyway....lol
You are an inspiration Clay.
😜
Thx Clay for sharing this. At one point in your video I believed hearing your heart beat (approx. 39 min in). You probably carried the gopro at your chest. Your heart rate went along with the moose appointment. Stay safe.
14:49, sounds like me with toilet cramps 😅😂. Great video!
😅
Love the long length videos
Glad you like them!
Same! That was so good!
Great video Brother that is some beautiful country!!!!
I would say Clay Hayes is like the Fred Bear of this generation, only he gets to share his adventures with other us . Your one dam good woodsman!!! Thanks for the great video!!!! 👍🏹🦌
Thank ya
@@clayhayeshunter most welcome
@@clayhayeshunter I get my new black Hunter in today then I will be tuning arrows . Clay if there’s any way possible I would do anything I possibly can to get a snake skinned bow similar to yours . I would like Osage but wouldn’t have to be I just want a bow made by you my friend . Is this something I can possibly have done? I would of course know it would cost . I’m just a huge fan and have been since Alone and I know you take pride in your work. It would mean the world to me sir. If not I completely understand. Have a great day .
Epic video, I throughly enjoy your content 👍
Thank ya
Good stuff Clay. Keep it coming!
