Fun Facts:
There are a grand total of 7 Police Academy Movies with the first 6 being released every year between 1984 and 1989 and the 7th one being released in 1994, 10 years after the first movie was released.
Michael Winslow (Jones), David Graf (Tackleberry) and George Gaynes (Commendant Lassard) are the only cast members to appear in all 7 Police Academy Movies and Winslow took it further as being the only cast member to appear in all 7 Police Academy Movies and a short lived Police Academy TV series.
David graf is buried over by Columbus.
I actually moved over by where Ray combs is buried.
Sometime i would love to do all the famous ohio people buried in the state. There seems to be more than i thought.
My late aunt (very Christian) would laugh till she'd cry if you brought up anything in this movie. It was her favorite
@@andreadeamon6419 pretty sad but ya know time goes on i wonder where hightower aka bubba smith was put to rest most people don't even know he was in the nfl and I think david graf was a vietnam vet
during thew rifle training scene Tackleberry is the only one who doesn't duck when Lesley waves the shotgun in the groups direction. He just sighs and looks away with disappointment. That's because he knows that the chamber is empty, and the shotgun hadn't been pumped after firing.
When I was a little kid, I LOVED Tackleberry and Mahoney, but High Tower was right up there too! The lady with the tiny voice cracks me up every time!
I can't believe it. Mahoney was a POS and a bully.
This must be the happiest I've seen you 😂Always a fun reaction, the '80s have great movies to put anyone in a good mood.
Best of the series. It definitely declined, as all such comedy franchises do. But if you find yourself loving raunchy ‘80s-style comedies, ymmv with how far into the sequels you’ll keep enjoying. I’d say most who find themselves *really* enjoying this one, will likely enjoy 2 and maybe up to 3 at least.
I would also recommend the first Mannequin movie.
Jones is beatboxing to the power of about 1000. He's the whole goddamn soundboard!
Mahoney's like "why do YOU got three ladies? Come on share some."
#2 and #3 I think are worth watching.
Greetings from Finland girl!!! There are 7 of these movies and they're all watchable so many childhood memories ❤ awesome reaction and as always "i'll be back" 😎
You definitely gotta watch the first 3 at least. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fantastic reaction! I love this movie, and most of the sequels. I look forward to your reactions to those.
Police Academy 2-4 are also very watchable (and Steve Guttenberg is in them as Mahoney, too).
My advice: When Guttenberg quits to be in Police Acedemy movies, you should quit watching them.
Why can’t we make movies like this anymore?!!!
Woke woke woke woke... ruins everything... sadly... movies are just one more thing that are ruined by it...
@@Tre1968. hollywood writers have no talent
7 movies in the series
Great reaction as always! You had me cracking up laughing! I love the second one.. might be my fav.. Can't wait for you to watch part 2.. Hope you watch it ASAP!
😂😂The funny throwback movie 🎥 ever classic of my childhood especially the blow job part too funny 🤣
ahahahh Hell yeah, this movie is a classic.
Now you know why COPS are criminals to !
Please 🙏 watch the 2nd movie at least (if not all of them)Can't wait until you meet ZED 😂
U should react to role models, kick ass or how high
Great list, I hope she reacts to all 3.
Three Men and a Baby with Steve Guttenberg, Ted Danson and Tom Selleck. 1987. And Private Benjamin with Goldie Hawn. 1980. Just 2 that no one seems to react to.
Yeahh Three Men was one of best remakes ever. And second part was not bad too
i grew up with these films super young Police Academy 1-3 are each fantastic (4) isn’t necessarily bad but, it feels like a re-make of the previous 3 (5) Is good for what it is (6) is a great concept but, it’s not very good (7) is worth watching once but, it’s really sad and should’ve never been made the (IP was once very valuable with a Sat morning cartoon a toy line) and a Live Show at Six Flags theme park (I seen the live show in the summer of ‘95 it was surprisingly really impressive like watching a 80’s sitcom very HQ for what it was
35:15 he was smart to change his clothes cause they were attacking cops so he could safely get out and regroup. 38:56 they should’ve stopped at four. The last three movies are ok as a different series. They tried too hard to make them
I absolutely love your laugh ❤
wOw!!! This is the cutest I've ever seen you look, India. Looking so fine, even more than usual.
Brilliant
RIP Hooks
The sequels have their ups & downs, but also some funny moments too. So yeah If you want a good time, watch the rest 🙂
I also like the 2nd movie & the 7th movie is the worst one in the series, but there are some people who still like it.
I would say its worth it to get threw all 6. 7th one is meh. there was also a TV series and an animated series.
As time goes on i see Harris as a hero in this when first watched it though he was nasty and racist when he laughed at being told to weed people out but now i see. He first comes across Hooks she has no voice is podgy and 5" tall and he still dosnt kick her out he only says dont unpack he makes her a Police officer Begrginly he loved Hightower and was upset when he was sent home for Vandlusim but had to do it as disgustuing as what was said you cant lose your temper like that when on street in the police force. He hated Mahoney because he knew he was a petty criminal and didnt want him there
The sequels are not as good, the first one was written by great comedy writers and directed by a top notch director.
When are you going to Watch Police Academy 2😂
Toy soldiers
Yeah.. sexual harassment was "funny/okay"
in the 80's. Still love these movies, this dry humor doesn't exist anymore in modern movies.
No situation that a cop can't make worse.
Only the first 4 are good the rest are horrible
Lol yeah definitely even 4 was pushing it but man 1 through 3 were gold
25:54 Your face through that entire section was worth the entire reaction! As a kid, I, of course, had JUST HOW FUNNY it REALLY IS! OMG!
1-6 are pretty funny. 7 is kinda dumb.
Only police academy 1,2,and 3 are worth watching.
