The job is getting harder all the time, I've had a nightmare last few weeks, if it could go wrong it has gone wrong! The cheaper cars aren't worth bothering with, even stuff up to 5k is hard work, the prep costs are so high and the customer demands are ridiculous too. Hopefully things will get better for you and me soon!!

Forgot people who say AA inspection, they think it's free, it's not, maybe 200 quid, exclusions as well, age, mileage. Problem with cheapies now is they're 600 quid out of the door at the auction, then repairs, then your Facebook wallah won't pay more than 800 quid, I've made loads out of cheapies over the years but unfortunately selling price is low and all costs have gone up, back in the day auction indemnity was like 15 quid on a banger.

No one understands the hassle of selling cars , for any price range ..
Dont why I have been in the trade for so long .. causes a lot of stress and aggravation ..
Back in the day , well about 20 plus years ago , used to buy cars out of auction for £20 ,£50 , £120 ..
    £180 etc , buy 5 a week , sell quick and repeat !
    Nowadays in indemnity is £200 On a £ 300 car …
Bought 2006 fiesta 1.25 Zetec 63 k miles for £500 all in . 4 months mot , no sensible interest at all for 2 months . Just last price I come now or will you take £800/£600/£400 etc etc .
Got it motd and advertised for a £1000 and sold it 2 weeks later for £970 ..
Bout maybe £400 profit over 2.5 months . Waste of time ..
Every man and his dog wants to sell cars !
80% of cars I sell I get offers from wannabe car dealers , who want to buy for what I paid for and sell for more than I am asking for!
