The worst part for me is that i want to finish the first game before playing the sequel, but everyone is already exposing the content of the second game.
I feel that. I usually don’t scourge UA-cam too much if a new game just came out that I know I’d wanna play and then if I do happen to see the game in a thumbnail in the corner of my eye, I try not look at it and pretend it ain’t there.
As a college student just graduated, i have gone from having time for video games but no money, to having money for games but no time to play them. The struggle is real
I still have games on my wishlist from 2018 space engineers. Epic keeps giving me free games like new guardians of the galaxy doki doki lit club and 2017 deus ex I'll never mine asteroids at this point. Bought palworld and helldivers played em both for a month b4 I had to return to the epic free game grind.
This is my biggest pet peeve with my group. We buy one game start playing it and within a week right when we’re in the middle of the experience all the sudden hey let’s get and play this game. Like do you have the attention span of a rat !? Not to mention I am not spending 60- 30 dollars every week on a game that we’re going to bail on within a week. And then they get mad at me. Like sorry my parents don’t buy me all my games I have a job and bills to worry about.
My group is the opposite. I constantly see games we might be able to try, SOME ARE FREE MIND YOU, but none of them ever have the opportunity or time. I can also understand that, but then when they do have the opportunity AND the time, it's, "Eh, I dont really feel like it. I'd rather take a nap rn." Thats when i just throw my hands up and say screw it. Until they suggest something themselves, i leave it up to chance. Otherwise i'd rather just look at other groups to hopefully have good times with. I dont mean to sound selfish, i know time is something valuable to each person and how they spend it, but I barely get to see these people in person, and when i do, i've got to drop a hefty enough amount of money to do so, travel costs n all that. It hurts when we dont even hang out online. :/
@@Kittydango I felt that. I’m the oldest member of my current group (27) and the average age in my current group is 20-25. What you described is what happened to my original group of friends. We all started playing together as kids and As we all got older one by one they just quit gaming altogether or got too busy to play. So I ended up having to find a new group. It kind of made me feel like the black sheep of my first group after a while since I was the only one to keep gaming while my other friends acted like they were too old or that it was childish. And like I’m in the military and I don’t feel that way. We all grew up gaming and loving it then all of the sudden once everyone started hitting 25-26 the vibe just completely changed. That and it wasn’t like we were gaming every night, we’d schedule a Friday or Saturday night here and there to play but it just wasn’t the same after awhile. Now we all barely talk anymore or not at all.
Same, they told me to pick up Stardew valley, I said no bc I know you not gonna play much, they said they will, after a week they never played the game again
I relate too much man. I JUST got super into Baldur's Gate 3 and now Remnant 2's got new DLC, Another Crab's Treasure looks sick and I STILL haven't played Heldivers yet. Not to mention all the other games I already bought and haven't played yet 😅
Yeah, like I missed out on a TON of "popular" games, like BG3, by just choosing something, and sticking to it mainly. Still hasn't stopped others I know for ditching the games we are playing together to go play some new game. Like was playing Abiotic Factor with some friends, and now the other two are caught up with Ghost of Tsushima Directors cut and I am here twiddling my thumbs waiting for them to get board.

This is way too relatable as well. I've been having a stockpile of games but more and more games that I want keep coming out like I was going to get into another game and now another one I want to play is about to come out tomorrow
You should definitely check out In Stars And Time!! It came out at the end of 2023, so it didn't get much attention at first. It deserves so much more!!
I keep buying games but not playing them. I haven't been in the mood to play games for a while now. But buying them in a sale stills gives me some dopamine. lol
I always try to go back and play the older games with the friends still into it, and in turn they do the same for me when I’m stuck on a game theyve moved on from. It’s nice
A couple years ago my friends and I played a lot of warzone, only I didn’t have the full game meaning it would take me 8 years to get the gun that was considered “meta”. One day I finally scraped together enough money to go grab the game. I played it for one month and have never played it since. I’m sticking to indie games and free games now.
Dude, all jokes aside! No wayy! You got German requiem 7: electric boogaloo, the squeakel-This time it’s personal edition?!?!? Oh man, so Gut so guuut!
Man relatable, your friends get into the new game hype train, but you can’t afford it, after a week you finally get, it but they are like “yeah we stopped playing that, now get this $59.99 and we can play together then!!”
This happens a lot with my friend group. Numerous times we've had games we've been playing together start to finish but most we don't finish because something else comes up before we complete the game and then others aren't in the mood to play it so I get stuck with leaving it in limbo or playing it solo because they don't continue. Sometimes it's okay but other times the games are more fun playing with friends.

For real Indie games are either just the same genre But please Spice it up atleast

Just evade taxes to get those games
Play Rocket League, it’s amazing
I have a feeling this is about the lethal company or helldivers or content warning
This way too relatable with too many games
And too many animes.

It's not easy but it's possible, you need to move away whenever you see the name of the game.
Hades?
I'm multiple instalments behind on many series I'd love to play. 😅😭

Solution, Piracy
While I support this for greedy large studios, A lot of these great games coming out fast are indie productions that deserve some support
