An idea for a video is how to shoot at different positions, angles, foot positions( on a slope, different levels and etc) standing/ kneeling/sitting and how to train for them.
Also helpful to mention that before you start this process, unlock your sight and use the dial to scroll your sight up as far as it’ll go to maximize your yardage.
Great video! I’m shooting the Hoyt Alpha X 30” and have the Black Gold sights. I’d like to see a more detailed video of a set up from mounting on the picatinny rail to windage and elevation adjustments. At times it can get confusing as too which way to move it on the vertical axis.
I’d say a good idea would be about vanes. Profiles, materials, configuration, & vane angles but more importantly WHY ONE IS “better” than the other. Lots of videos out on peoples preferences but none out that explain why one is more accurate or “better” than the rest. Thanks for the info as always & keep up the good work YOU ARE APPRECIATED
I like this method using the caliper. Will have to try and incorporate it into my set up.I have a 3 pin mbg pro and i found if you don't have a chronograph, set your 20y 30y and 40yard pins. Take your sight tapes and line the tapes up to your pins close as possible, that will get you in the money.
Sweet... just got a 5 pin Black Gold.I have pretty much dialed in. The chrono speed tape was close...not that close. I do need some custom tapes made. Thanks for the info.
Video ideas, break every part of a bow setup down (each one can be different video). Bow, Arrows, Inserts, Vanes, Strings, Etc. Explain what you prefer and why. Also throw in some common problems of each part. We all respect your opinion and would love to hear it on as much archery stuff as we can.
I’d like to see a video on changing strings and re tuning a bianary cam bow from re setting the timing marks to the cables and so on. I’ve got a buddies diamond that i put new strings on and I had the timing set but it was shooting nock high on paper and wouldn’t go away so went back to look at strings and timing and the brace hight was off as well as the ATA was slightly long 1/8”. So I fixed that took the cables off switched them around to see if that made a difference and it’s still nock high and slightly out of time according to timing lines on the cam
I would like to see a video on target panic. I use a wrist release. Got a bad habit of punching the trigger when I'm close.Just wondering if you would recommend a different type of release? Love your video! Thanks!!
I think it would be a cool experiment to see a bow with old and stretched out strings, ( maybe do a baseline on it as far speed at a certain draw length, noise level, accuracy, cable measurements, etc.) Then put custom strings on it and perform a baseline again. Make it kind of scientific... anyways appreciate the videos man.
Need help MFJJ! i always get confused here and only dialed in 1 tape and it wasnt that close, the shop picked it then i tried to fine tune. So if i have a 3 pin slider and sight in my pins and housing to home base, 20 hitting and 30/40 good. When i select my tape and 40 pin is my rover/slider pin….when i go to put my tape on am i putting it at 40 being home base and putting it under the needle at 40. Due to the 3 pin design, or am i putting the tape to match the needle at 20…confusing to explain but i always mess this up somehow or forget
Hey Josh! Just bought the duel track black gold. That little silver allen key is burred, I can’t turn it to set my first access, I had to move it with my hand. Any suggestions?
I am a fairly new shooter. I bought a Hoyt Torrix in March for my first"real" bow. I can get 1 1/2- 3 inch groups at 20 yards, but at thirty and beyond I am just as likely to shoot a 6" or bigger group as I am a 3". When I got it I shot at least 90 shots a day, every day trying to get better. I found I couldn't by myself. I have looked for classes around the Birmingham Alabama area, but all I have found is for"beginners" . Which they say I don't qualify for because I have watched enough UA-cam to be able to sight in my bow. Any help would be great
I just switched to a Black Gold slider with the 2 pin. My plan was to have the pi s set at 20 and 40. The best I can get is a 20 and a 35. My speed is 295fps arrow weight is 385grns. Is my arrow to light to expect this with the pin gap adjustment?
I have a black gold whitetail. Shoot at 20 40 60. If I wanted to increase my draw poundage by a pound or 2 . Could a guy just raise pin housing up a bit. Or would u have to change out the tape . I'm a 30 and under guy at whitetails
When you went from your first pin to your bottom pin which was the 50 how do you guess that distance without destroying any arrows like you guessed it pretty spot on without messing up arrows or being to far off if you know what I mean
You running VAP TKOs? Which lighted nock you find works best with that arrow? Looking back I don't believe they're Victory arrows. I know Tim runs RIP's. Looking for a solid tried and true lighted nock for the VAPs. Appreciate it
Put your arrow backwards on the rest with it going thru the dloop. Move your slider down and when it hits the fletching that's your limit. Make note of that
@@lycheeznuts I already knew to do that from watching John Dudley's videos, just wanted to make sure him or someone brought it to attention for the newer shooters or ones who've never used a slider style sight.
Thanks for the video Josh. What bino harness you have on? I'm using the Kuiu and definitely need something else. Also video idea may just be a hunt recap. Tell how your elk season went, maybe some lessons learned or advice we all could benefit from. Love the channel
Ok I have a older bow and it's a. q5 quest storm set to 58 pound 27.5 length im shooting 400 spin hunter gold tip arrows with 100 g tips I just put a hotwire adjustable 3 pin the tapes don't look good so I'm going to have to put my own on it best advice?
And im shaky it's been literally 16 or 17 years since my dad died he's who I shot with so I'm trying to.get back into it then I wanna start getting out of my comfort spot and do like new hunts outwest even
I stripped mine the first day I opened it, mounted it leveled it 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Then I started shooting and sighting the pins I had to move my scope horizontally and I’m one of those guys have to torque shit down. Stripped it but good thing I got tap and dye sets. Save my warranty when I get a pro micro adjust model, I for sure will adjust and baby those bolts. Works perfect and dead on out to 105. I never used the chrono either marked the yardage on the black to match my tape.
I’m gonna order this archers advantage, I just bought the black gold from you. Thanks I bought everything from you you’re the best! 🙏🏽

Awesome job man keep up the great work. Feather vs. plastic vane set up.
good job guys! 🤘

I have the Archers advantage program. It’s Right on the money.
Good informative video.👍✌

Would be interesting to see how much heavy helical vs 2 degree offset changes your sight tape at distance?
The hunting public did a video this summer with ranch fairy and its not as bad as what you would think.
I would like to see a video on target panic. I use a wrist release. Got a bad habit of punching the trigger when I'm close.Just wondering if you would recommend a different type of release? Love your video! Thanks!!
Would you recommend setting the top pin 25 then follow up with 35 45 on a three pin sight?
Thank you sir lots of good info right there!
Very helpful! Thank you.

Show idea how to properly use and thumb release such as a carter first choice or wise choice thanks keep up the awesome work 🤘🏻

Opinion on both eyes open to shoot or one. My local coach tells me to keep both open.
Still start with your 20 yds pin in the centre of your housing?? Setting up my new Black gold mountain light

Is your sight flush in this video, or is it rolled up to the top?? Shooting the 3 pin BG and want my bottom pin my floater. Thanks man

How about a video showing step by step how to use archers advantage
MFJJ do a video no the current arrows you have or why you switched from one to another
When you went from your first pin to your bottom pin which was the 50 how do you guess that distance without destroying any arrows like you guessed it pretty spot on without messing up arrows or being to far off if you know what I mean
I still can’t decide between black gold ascent verdict single pin or spot Hogg single pin without the rail. It’s for 3d archery and indoor ranges
Now what does that bow chronograph at.
You running VAP TKOs? Which lighted nock you find works best with that arrow? Looking back I don't believe they're Victory arrows. I know Tim runs RIP's. Looking for a solid tried and true lighted nock for the VAPs. Appreciate it
my Black Gold Verdict 5pin has two of those yardage markers. (red little arrows that align with the stickers numbers) why does it have two?
Is 50 enough to get the sight dialed in? I ask because I know 60 is recommended but I only have 50 yards at my house. Thanks!
What about verifying vane clearance to know how far you can shoot before your arrow vanes make contact with your sight?
Put your arrow backwards on the rest with it going thru the dloop. Move your slider down and when it hits the fletching that's your limit. Make note of that

Hi could you review the axcel landslyde please loving the content from Australia. Yew
Thanks for the video Josh. What bino harness you have on? I'm using the Kuiu and definitely need something else. Also video idea may just be a hunt recap. Tell how your elk season went, maybe some lessons learned or advice we all could benefit from. Love the channel
His bino harness is a Sitka. Best bino harness out there imho. Light weight a lot of storage space. Cost about $150 but well worth the $$$.
MFJJ,
Which sight do you prefer for hunting?
awesome review thanks id like more string building vids thanks
The lighter/heavier arrows are goin to drop at a drop different so definitely shoot your tape to verify

I love watching this guy shoot
How did you know where to put your pin to shoot at 50? So you don’t sail an arrow
Great
What release was that?
Remember boys can't sight that bow in without the bino harness
Fletching helical vs offset
Fletching stiffness
Fixed broadheads distance impact vs practice tips
String care
Product reviews
Field repair
What’s the release?
Scott sigma
Setting up stabilizers. Tuning out at 120
I don’t like how aggressive he is with sticking that allen key in his sight

This guy shoots with one eye closed and he’s giving advice
