Please do a follow up video about the pole straps, luckily someone told me on day one on how to use the straps to do most of the work
Great point! Only adjusting the straps from the bottom can save from possible injuries! Details matter

Well, the thing with the poles is that they’re a great bit of kit. However, they’re not a lot of good if the user doesn’t know how to walk in the first place.
I keep coming across pilgrims who have tendinitis of the patella or of the tibia. Purely because they haven’t learnt how to ascend and/or descend correctly. Or that they’re not used to the long days on the hoof.
Admitted, the choice of footwear has just as much bearing on this too.

Using the poles properly. So many people are just waving them around or moving them forward together instead of alternately. Left right left right. It looks silly & the poles are useless like this.
The “hiking pole universe”! Others to add would be the strap fitted from the bottom.
I would say the proper use of the straps for the poles is widely misunderstood.

@@caminotellers bears are animals that don't want to have contact with people, instead you have to watch out for the dogs in the sheepfolds, but with a spray and a few firecrackers it's ok

I bought my poles just to find out that I cannot bring them on the plane with me. Most airlines (all?) do not allow them.
They can be checked, just not carried on the plane.
