Bayek is so cool! I love this game! and as a character he written and acted good you really feel for him. I have played all AC games since the very first one, but I haven't truly enjoyed it and cared for protagonist since Altair's and Ezio's story ended. This game renewed my love for the series and Ifell in love it it, especially since I always loved mythology and civilization of Egypt so I might be little biassed, but to me it's one of fave AC games along with the first one and Ezio trilogy.
Flavius’ assassination is when everyone realized Bayek was willing to kill anyone that was said to be his enemy because it was not only his idea of healing his emotional wounds or saving Egypt. But he couldn’t let go of the fact that once he kills Flavius there would be no longer lust for revenge and he would mentally lose his son. It makes me believe that Bayek did indeed go crazy and throughout the game his mind has his son go around as if he’s actually there and he hears his voice. That’s why at the very end we never hear his voice again after he tells his father to jump.
I like that at least Bayek’s story has a good ending. In the pharaoh’s curse dlc, we learn that 1) his son made it to the afterlife, 2) all the members did not, especially the one who killed khemu, and 3) Bayek’s accidental killing of his son was forgiven by Anubis and Amun Ra.
Despite me not being a fan of the RPG Trilogy, that is a fact. After Unity's horrendous release, fans still had a bitter aftertaste when Syndicate launched - leading to it being probably the most ignored AC main entry of them all. It really wasn't doing good at the time.
Yep and it fit. First killing after his son is dead, pure grief and rage. Same with the Iris. I honestly think Medunamun was one of the best characters in the whole game, and he was the first target He had a strong early role in the plot through his scenes, and I liked that he was a fellow Egyptian, almost dark side to Bayek in a way. I liked Eudoros' scene even though he had a smaller role, but he didn't go down without a fight and gave Bayek a challenge to his dying breath, great scene! My favorite set of villains was mostly the second one, Scarab's deception was so good, the Hyena's exploration of impressively built First Civ sites was great and her motive and death haunted me deeply. I wanted them to be more directly involved with Bayek's tragedy tho, but anyway. I wanted to love Hetepi but I felt that all the hype during the pre-release time didn't add up to what he turned out to be in the game, lackluster involvement in the plot was wasted. I thought that the Crocodile storyline was great but it would have been more edgy to have Bayek's old friend be the one to kill the little girl. Septimius should have been finished off by Bayek, seemed more plausible than Aya with two knives. I thought Pothinus actually turned out to be a disappointment for me as he barely had a significant role in the plot yet was one of the last targets. The elephant scene was sick tho. I actually relished the fight with Flavius, great setting in the Temple of Mars, with full-on first civ powers, very reminiscent of the amazing end battle of AC 1, difficult and so satisfying to finish him off. All in all, most of them were done well, just think that the other targets like Rudjek and the random guys that Aya killed offscreen should have at least been in one sequence together i f necessary. The Caesar sequence aside from the last battle with Septimius makes me want to have a game at least partially in Rome or at least a DLC. Loved the masked costumes they wore to keep secret, wish they had shared more scenes together plotting in those, and especially dealing more with all the lovely first civ locations that this game was FULL of. Good job overall.
Which old friend are you referring to in this? I saw another reference to an old friends of bayek on another post but can’t remember who it’s referring to
Yeah Kensa, I thought would have been more twisted for her to have been the one to kill shadya on Berenike's orders, they were almost alluding to the shady side work she was doing for her anyway
Imagine a sequel with Bayek, Aya and Kassandra!!! In Rome or Persia or some place in the Ancient world. I would've loved to see more of Aya. Kassandra would've been alive too. Would love to see her interact with future AC characters and influence the Brotherhood from the sides.
It'd be great to see Kassandra or Alexios use the staff as a weapon to kill order members, And before I receive shit about Kassandra being cannon she appeared in one comic ONE, UNO, EINS, when everyone started saying she was canon ubi pretty much nodded heads towards eachother and as a group said "Yup"
Pothinus was the only Ancient with a moral code, the order claims they want peace and stability for humanity and yet they treat it so very cruely, but he was not, he showed remorse to a father who had lost his son, he felt guilty
My first target kill was the Ibis, I wasn't on a mission I was just attempting to steal treasure from the temple and I ran into him outside the treasure room and killed him because he was in the way.
Me too but instead I went in there at night and found him sleeping I did know he was my Target and went to assassinate him and bayek just curb stomp on his neck
There were a couple of members of the order I actually felt bad with killing. Pothinus, for example. He seemed to really want to build something that was actually good despite the methods he used lacking a lot, and that probably included keeping the Romans from setting their sights on Egypt right away (considering they liked to conquer everything within reach). More than anything, though, he regretted Khemu’s death, the role he played in it, and even apologized to Bayek. A mix of antagonists you can understand and those you want to see burn. Overall, I feel like this game is going to be one of Ubisoft’s masterpieces.
All of the other Assassins in the franchise: Nicely brings the targets to the afterlife Bayek: smashes the ibis’s head with an orb, and talks back to the targets
I hope these return in the next game after Odyssey. As much as I liked that game, I hate just straight up killing without any these to appear. I'm fine with the RPG elements and two different protagonist.
It really feels like out of all the different mythologies in Assassin's Creed, the Egyptians were right. Because the Duat seems to be a physical place that Bayek is going too during these.
The other assassination moments were clever dialogue and deep philosophical conversations. The ones in Origin hit you to the earth, it was plain and simple. He was human, and you just snapped him. And now he breaks you. A simple reason as to why he kills
Don't understand why Ubi doesn't give characters sequels anymore. I believe it would sell to a lot of fans on the base of being a Bayek Sequel alone. I'm not even a fan of the RPG Trilogy, but hell I'd definitly be in for it. Also, showing the first decade or so of the hidden ones, early struggles and institutionalization could be interesting.
Unfortunately for Aya Lucius Septimus' name was not lost to oblivion, he's not well regarded but the name will always be forever for his part in Pompey's death.

Loved the masked costumes they wore to keep secret, wish they had shared more scenes together plotting in those, and especially dealing more with all the lovely first civ locations that this game was FULL of. Good job overall.
Julian Grant okeh
Which old friend are you referring to in this? I saw another reference to an old friends of bayek on another post but can’t remember who it’s referring to
Have you played the Crocodile Gladiator sequence yet?
Julian Grant yeah I’ve beaten the game, so it refers to khenu? I just knocked her out
Yeah Kensa, I thought would have been more twisted for her to have been the one to kill shadya on Berenike's orders, they were almost alluding to the shady side work she was doing for her anyway
It'd be great to see Kassandra or Alexios use the staff as a weapon to kill order members,
And before I receive shit about Kassandra being cannon she appeared in one comic ONE, UNO, EINS, when everyone started saying she was canon ubi pretty much nodded heads towards eachother and as a group said "Yup"
@@peanutrecord6989 i mean Kassandra is canon...
@@AgieSebie my point will remain, regardless though I like your idea
I will never understand how Ubi could make Odyssey with those 'Cutscenes', after all these masterpieces in Origins
May the hidden ones walk beside you, the Lord of the duat awaits is the new requiescat in pace
you mean old lel
he literally only said it twice
Hey, mate, I have something to say.
Shadya.
SHADYA!!!!
"That was the name of the child you drowned!!"
Like all of your kind, you fail to see what greatness lies in store for Egypt.

The anger in his voice when he kills them… It gives me chills…
“I cant do it. I cant, I CAAAANT DO ITTT”
Taharqa (Scarab) looks and sounds like Adewale from AC4 :o
Yeah, it's Tristan D. Lalla :D

ḱ̶͞a͠ś̴o҉̕s̶͡͠ky̸KA̶PP̢̡͢A̷ Taharqa being Adewale’s ancestor is now in my head canon
Soooo....does that mean i killed adewale twice? Feels sad man :(
Lol, when I first saw beyak made that one assassination where he lost his finger, I never really noticed he lost his finger until I watched this.
it's been 6 years since this came out. I really want to come back to this game
They forgot to do Ceaser’s confession
I also have to say Khaliset’s confession was quite sad and made me feel sympathy for her especially when the hyenas dragged her away
There is a Ceasar confession, it just didn’t appear in the video
@@ShadowJCreed Agreed. I felt so bad for her that I brought her body back and tried to carry it as deep into the pyramid as possible.
@@RS-lh7zu no shit sherlock
They forgot the Lizard too
Bayek has got to be one of my top 3 fav assassins. The voice actor is boss
7:40 One of my absolute favorite moments in the game. I love Bayek's response.
I liked Pothinus' death scene. he honestly took it like a boss
Best intro scene of all Assassin's Creed games.
6:00 "may the gods curse you" I got a candy crush the moment after he said that 🤣🤣🤣
Oomg iconic xD
Sleep? I never sleep! I only wait in the shadows!
BUSTIN' OUT THE FEATHER
Pothinus was remarkably chill. Never seen a templar genuinely express sorrow and regret over the pain they caused others on a personal level
You did Bayek dirty by counting Khemu as an assassination
The Lord of duat awaits you 👌
You forgot the lizard/hetepi
Pothinus was the only Ancient with a moral code, the order claims they want peace and stability for humanity and yet they treat it so very cruely, but he was not, he showed remorse to a father who had lost his son, he felt guilty
Even several years later I remembered the one at 9:41.
The Shadya segment is great.
14:16, the most brutal moment in the entire series.
13:55*
@@Smoothsmoothie that was the back. Not the you know whats.
My first target kill was the Ibis, I wasn't on a mission I was just attempting to steal treasure from the temple and I ran into him outside the treasure room and killed him because he was in the way.
Hah, awesome
Same
Me too but instead I went in there at night and found him sleeping I did know he was my Target and went to assassinate him and bayek just curb stomp on his neck
All of the other Assassins in the franchise: Nicely brings the targets to the afterlife
Bayek: smashes the ibis’s head with an orb, and talks back to the targets
For some reason I love that guy apologizing.
When Bayek mind is focus I mean he's focus 💯
May the hiden one walk beside you. The lord of Duat awaits. This gives me goosebumps everytime.
4:00 when you have one of the most powerful weapons in humanity but you use it as a rock instead.
Bayek's anger is the coldest part in the whole game
Last AC game that actually feels like AC
8:05 the way Bayek appears from behind, no emotion, plain badass
I hope these return in the next game after Odyssey. As much as I liked that game, I hate just straight up killing without any these to appear. I'm fine with the RPG elements and two different protagonist.
They ARE in Valhalla.
"The assassinations of an assassin in Assassin's Creed Origins."
That's a lot of ass, in one sentence.
Bayek voice actor is incredible!
Assassin's creed Origins is loved by fans only because his voice ....
A pure 1000/10
I wish they put this level of effort into the new games scenes…. This stuff was crazyyy
I love the accents of Assassin’s Creed. Except Unity
9:21 you can't take from others and expect to get what you want, hyena, as Anubis just demonstrated.
I just finished the game today. It was great!
These assassination's are the best thing in the whole AC franchise. But I like Origins's a lot
“Son of Apep, The Lord of the Duat awaits.”
If you see Brutus at 14:22 he hits right in the family jewels.
7:43 is it me or did Bayek start to sound like Arno? Lol
Jones 3:16 Completely different voice actors.. and I didn‘t hear it 🙄
Mister K Ik that dumbass I said he sounded a little bit
2 years late but it does sound like something Arno would say and very similar tone
0:48 "I'm f up" 😂
They should have did this with Odyssey to
The lord of the duat, Awaits...
Origins has the best death animations imo.
Unfortunately for Aya Lucius Septimus' name was not lost to oblivion, he's not well regarded but the name will always be forever for his part in Pompey's death.
