Video idea: it would be interesting to see a tier rank video of all the books you've read so far this year. Have the books already placed in the tiers based off goodreads average rating and then you go in and "fix" it by moving books to the place where you personally rated it. I'd see this with tiers for every .5 star.

love in the time of serial killers is the definition of don’t judge a book by it’s cover and it makes me so sad because I wanted to like this book so much but when i read it, i just couldn’t

Hey Ellen I tried reading Acotar and I just wasn’t connected with any of the characters or the world and it was such a big struggle to get through and I don’t think Sarah just Maas is for me which makes me so sad to say but it’s true😭
It’s a shame you can’t get past ACOTAR because ACOMAF is where it’s at. Whenever I do a re-read I skip that book.
I feel you, I even tried the second and third book, but nope
I liked the first book but I can’t get into the second book😭😭

Honestly, this is me with Throne of glass.. been reading that series for over a year now and I still have about 3 books left! I still don’t get the hype! .. I don’t connect to the writing, the plot and characters..

I have read the Mindf*ck series and it was also like a 3 and the last a 4 star for me. But I understand the high rating, because nobody would read such a book if its not their thing I guess?

I had the same feelings about the main character in Love in the time of serial killers. I found her soo annoying and just kind of crazy.. I just dnf’d it about 50% through cause nothing was happening 😅 I love the cover though lol

I loved the mindf*ck series but I agree I did NOT like how he reacted to finding out she was the killer. Was seriously off putting for his character for me, like that was not okay…and especially what she had been through you would think she would’ve reacted differently. Idk.
