I prefer to tandem read / listen to an audiobook. That helps in general, especially with fantasy books. I find it makes my reading experience more enjoyable and immersive 😊

I’m also college age and don’t enjoy YA as much any more because the characters are so young and immature usually. But oh boy do they make the best books for getting out of reading slumps! I think because they are easy to read and the plot is usually fast moving

i completely agree, YA is mostly for nostalgia as you get older, but i love it for reading slumps!
