Long story short, find a multi tool cabinet that spawns S class, then land on each planet in turn, reload a save, go back to space station and see a different type of multi tool spawn as an S. rinse and repeat different systems till you find what you want
How do I find out the class of the multitool cabinet? Are there distinguishing marks? Is it yellow? Is it shown when you compare the multitools? Where?

If an A class cabinet can spawn S, A, B.. if you see a cabinet that has an S class tool in it, how can you tell if it is an S class or an A class cabinet? The only way to tell is to actually inspect the multi tool itself inside of the cabinet. Eventually you will recognise which tools are c or b class on sight if you choose to hunt down an s class cabinet through minor settlements
I had an A class alien tool that I just upgraded to S class and it didn't make any noticeable improvements at all. Mining speed and yield, shooting runaway mold for nanites, is exactly the same, and the scatter blaster seems to be doing the exact same damage to doors, material hoppers, and sentinels. It's like 50000 nanites down the drain. Any idea what's happening? Thanks.

so my station spoon is a s class cabinet the system only has 2 planets but a expirimental/alien wont pop up in the space station cabinet does that mean i cant get a alien or a experimental in that system as there are only 2 planets and both didnt give me one?
so if a S class cabinet can offer a A class instead. How do i prevent it to do so and make sure it will show the S-class multitool ? since a planet may have within their pool a A and a S class multitool
So I found a royal gun in a sentinel armory at one of the stations where you can shut the sentinels down but sadly it’s class C and the space station cabinet is class b my question is am I able to pull this gun from the sentinel armory to the space station or a better cabinet from another planet??? I reallly want this gun but I just want to get it to a better class
Yes it is true, unsure of the *actual* math, but consensus is 3 star systems have a 3% chance of a random minor settlement having an s class cabinet, 1% per star.
@@SpoonFPS man, this video came in clutch! Warped to a new 3 star system. Box at space station was an a class rifle... pretty ugly. Went to the closest planet, saved, went back and found a sweet blue experimental rifle! Very cool!
By following the main quest line you'll gain access to the Space Anomaly, which is a type of space station. Once inside, on the left side by an NPC named Iteration:Tethys there's a Multi-Tool Decommissioning station. First change your active multi-tool to the one you want to get rid of, then use the station and it'll grind it up for ya and give you it back in bits-and-pieces you can trade units for.
After putting the glyphs in I get a completely different planet and system. Was there an update from the time of this video to now that may have changed things?
Depends if you want an a class multi tool or not, I don't really play nms anymore but what I did initially was just system hop until finding an s class in the station. If you are happy with the class of the cabinet then just do the save and reload trick as shown in the video
S class multi tools don't always have the maximum amount of slots in them. As such an s class multi tool can still be upgraded with either units or the multi tool expansion kits

By the way, i just learend that they changeged some things with weapons and spawns in cabinets with the sentinel upgrade. I am not sure if this video is effected. Here some RND info wich would have helped me with NMS: If you have no credits, build an activeted indium farm, but be sure to survive the harsh planetary conditions wich you will likely encounter. You should upgrade your armor with all 4 elemental rsistances: Fire, ice, radioactiv and toxic. You find matertials/resource to fill these on the planets you are on. Fire planet = phosphorus => Fire resistance modul. Ice planet = dioxine, radioactive planet = uran and toxic planet = ... yes doesent remember^^. You finde these materials buy farming fauna and rocks´n stuff. If you need carbon alot, just build an oxygen farm and refine oxygen and you get carbon out of it (and you have oxygen for your life support, dont know if you need t3 refiner). Buy ferit dust on space stations and dont farm it. You could mine magnetised ferrite and sell that and buy more ferit dust (depends) You can refine magnetised ferrite back to pure ferit, wich is faster, if you have a base set up. Buy your metal platings from the shop if you building a farm for smthng. you dont have to produce them and not burn troght your materials. For dihydrogen just buy the dihydrogen jellys at stations and refine them to dihydrogen. There is a glitch where you can craft dihydrogen jelly for 40 dihydrogen and refine 1 dihydrogen jelly back for 50 dihydrogen. Not sure, never used that. To much work. For activeted indium simply visit the featured worlds in the anomaly. Bizzaros World has planets with activeted indium in them. Dont destroy the economy of your system by selling to much activeted indium to often in the same system. If you want to build statis devices or the fusion ignators and you dont have all of the gases as farm yet, than you can refine them to have that ones you need. The chain startes with radon wich you can refine to nitrogen, nitrogen can be refined to sulphurine, sulphurine can be refined back to radon. Weapons, vehicles your armor has upgrade technology synergys (adjency bonus) ... there are a ton of good youtube videos, too much info to write here. If you want, that every base is visble for your friends, than you have to think about some things (could be changed, technical limitations): You can upload just one base per planet, even with another safe file. If you want a portal base, you have to stay away 250 units from the portal with your main structures to be shown. You could make signs with electrical wirings on a wall. The wires should be shown, the wall not.

this is an explanation of the games mechanics and how they are used. they isn't always an s class cabinet on every single planet, in fact some planets don't even have a single minor settlement on them. At the point it's at I would classify it under the "It's not a bug, it's a feature" category where it was never intended but makes sense at the same time. --Assuming you are referring to reloading on a planet to change multi tool pools--

Every single system has multiple s class cabinets. The class of cabinet in the space station has no affect on the minor settlement cabinets.

If your 3th time is a B, you know it's a A class cabinet. If it switches between S and A only, you got your answer also.

Upgrading the class doesn’t increase the stats. It increases the max number of slots you can have

Royals only come in C-class from sentinel pillars.

For the most part yes but in the case of the alien it does more damage and the experimental has a greater scan range over others.
Whenever I load the auto save i just load back on the planet instead of spawning on space station
Its normal, fly back to the station. Your safepoint is next to your ship. He diddent include that info in the video.
