One of your best landing s yet! Quite like Ash-Vegas and the airfield they have there, not much air traffic either. Hynds is a rather interesting place, easily missed if you blink at the wrong time! Lime the idea of following SH1 all the way up to the very top…from Christchurch you could land at either Hanmer Springs or Culverden (probably a farmers airstrip near Culverden as it’s on SH1 whereas Hanmer is slightly off the track), onto Kaikoura or Parikawa just north of there, not sure after that but either stop at Blenheim or onto Picton to finish the South Island. Great vid and hope the tonsils feel better soon 😉
No real plans, I’ll probably just make it up on the day where we’re going to land for each of the upcoming legs. The planes make a difference too with how fast they are and how far they can travel in 10 to 15 minutes. So yes, my usual level of zero flight planning.
