We just got over the latest. Went to hospital to get MRI next day got sick. It was a head cold felt bad for a couple days. We are in our late 50’s no jabs. Don’t let them scare you

Our family got the latest, chilis, head ach, body aches, temp, day 4 it was done. It was not a normal cold, felt like short flu
It went thru our church and everyone had it and was better in less than a week. I had it for about 4 days. No big deal. Wish it had been that easy the first time around.

Me and my husband sorted the medical closet and put together 2 trauma bags. Organized cold, flu and allergy meds. Made a list of missing items. Another prep!!
I've got med books & a few things. But, I believe I'm gonna be mobile.ive got stuff in storage & it's way too hot to rearrange & get it out rte. Now.
I live in Wyoming. I suggest that anyone contemplating a move here love the cold weather. Survival here is not for the weak.

Make it fun! My grandson was failing in school. He spent 3 weeks with us, and we played school 5 days a week. I did 10-15 minutes of learning, with 30 minutes between segments. He needed that playtime. When I homeschooled my children, we had at least one outing a week. I tried to do two. A trip for ice cream, swimming, zoo, picnic in a local park, library, book store, movie. List is endless. Praying all God's best for you both 🙏

I saw the writing on the wall in 2020.... I kept my kids out of school and started rehabilitating them from the conventional school system. Best decision for our family. They're leaps and bounds ahead of their counterparts. People are still amazed at how well they read. I'm still amazed at how lousy others read.
Scotts Hill, southern Baptist in NC, they preach from the Bible, they know what's up, and they are actively feeding into our children. Raising the next generation steadfast and strong in Christ!

My church stopped having Sunday night church so I found another church to go to on Sunday night. My hubby works for the church so go in the morning with him and at night with my son.

Right. Did the homeschooling thing too. Even with everyone saying “ you will give up”. Did not give up! I havea 22 and 18 and they are a blessing to us.
My 4 children attend a Hillsdale K-12 Classical Academy and it is the best thing I have ever seen in a school curriculum! If you can not homeschool for whatever reason, which I did for MANY years, please look into a Hillsdale Accredited Curriculum. They teach Classical Learning, Love of the USA, the Constitution, and our Freedoms.

I try to remind my 4 and 7 year old when they get feisty when I try teaching them things and doing certain things that a lot of kids only see their parents for dinner and homework and bedtimes that’s it. We are blessed to have all this time together even if sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming and intense 😂😂🙌🙌

I hD a medical procedure done a week ago this past Wed. don't no what they did other than what they were supposed to do but I've not been able to move my bowels on my own without laxatives. Stay out of todays medical system unless it's for a broken bone. I request your prayers for healing.

I was a public school teacher for 24 years. I pulled my youngest son out when we had to teach online. He was homeschooled for two years and is now in a Christian school for his last four years. I can testify that there is a lot of crap that is being pushed on teachers to teach. I didn’t cave but I know a lot who did. Pull kids out of public schools.

Pigs can't sweat ... so every couple of hours we go out and shoot them down with water, refill their bowls. They have a "pool" (trough) that holds 50-80 gallons of water that gets changed/cleaned every other day.
Our buns have their own fans, plus ceramic tiles that are kept in the freezer and put out in their cages and rotated once or twice daily on hotter days. They get watered a couple times a day, too.
Chooks get watered, have frozen water bottles to "snuggle" on hot days.
It's true, you keep busy on a farm, every couple of hours you check on your critters during heat waves or excessive snow/ice, even massive rains. So much work to do.
I want a bumper stickee that simply says, "NOPE".

Someone said when we stand up, we put ourselves in danger. When we don’t stand up, we put our children in danger.
I had to start working full time and found a wonder online school for my kids called Miacademy. Their learning tons and I can still look over all their schoolwork and work with them on the harder things.

Bay Area of N. Calif. has the best weather in the world -- today is 74 degrees, sunny, breezy, perfect. And I'll happily trade it for the hottest sweatiest FREEST part of the South as soon as I am able.
This is a PS. I was a lecturer in a Faculty of Education here in Australia after being a primary school teacher in a number of different state schools I taught 12 year olds mostly. I would home school now and I would choose my university very carefully if I were intending to study in a Faculty of Education. Both sites (in most cases) are now just brainwashing factories.

My daughter is at an early college and has worked very hard all these years to get to the end of it so she's staying in but she is in her senior year and she is aware of all of the c*** that goes with the public school system and so she is just biding her time till she gets her associates degree. Trust me she has her head on straight she is a straight arrow that 1! As always thank you for your wisdom I will pray for you and your family as well as all the other families who are reaching out to you looking for guidance at this very scary time In history.
