I saw an interview with Balance and he said, he was super nervous going into this battle and messed his timings up, and like you said, he said when Rythmind nailed that first round he just couldn't get it together in the 2nd and that song didn't go like he planned.
At some point you should check out the stuff from the judge sitting next to MB14. His name is Sam Perry and he WON Australia's The Voice while using a loop station which was pretty controversial at the time. I think he also did a judge showcase for GBB19 which goes pretty hard as a starting point.
I'm from Madagascar, and that mic tapping Rythmind did on his first round was like a gang sign, or something like : "Oh shxt / fxck" swear move... I don't know how to explain but, it's a bit about a supposedly 'bad' behavior... And seeing you doing it felt weird, not going to lie, lol...
For me balance is criminally underrated, forgotten or not mentioned much, This particular battle didn’t go well and had some issues, but his run the year before was amazing and had some great tracks, moments and drops. I do think he influenced the scene and other artists whether they would like to admit it or not 🤷♂️ Would love to see you go back and react to some of them, 👌
I know beat boxing existed as an 80's child. But beyond clicking of tounges and lips as a hi hat..No knowledge. So I'm on an educational journey to what's good and on the tipping point via your channel. You don't know me 'still the same old V':) but found you via Ren and love your chilled breakdowns and knowledge. Keep on keeping on. Thanks:)
I remember, for the longest time, I used to think Rythmind was saying "You scared like me" instead of "You scared by me". I was thinking "Why would you say that?" 😂🤣
@Mosk314 idk i think his rounds against frosty should have been much better Especially considering how prepared brez was compared to him I would have preferred brez to battle against frosty would have been sick
There was just a huge timing mistake in the beginning of balance’s second round which threw off my flow for the entire round which is why I think rythmind dominated this. Good video 👍
Balance first time. Rythmind? Performed on big stages like france git talent with berywham, uk version. Do this is like discusion between child nad his grandpa which one was on war
@@AnthonyRay all I'm saying is I would like to see different reacts from you on videos other than Beatbox. I'm sure there are request for this from patreons & those get bummed to the head of the line, but I've also noticed people have requested other types of videos months ago that haven't been reacted to. I know you probably get a lot of requests, cuz I've requested a few myself months ago, but patreon or not I think it's just pick & chose.
Unfortunately Balance had issues with his setup, his loopstation, so going against someone like Rythmind yea didnt work out too well...but hes a beast though
Bruh...no shot you went up against copycat....thats insane. And you won? Thats crazy. And yes very very true about battling and your opponent drops this holier-than-thou amazing drop, your ballon deflates so wuickly...😂😂...happened to me quiet a bit bro. Also thats why theres always 2 rounds, you have your amazing work in the first round, kinda like "testing the waters" And from there if you know youve got it in the bag you can choose to go the same "speed" or have that one gem ready to go and just obliterate your opponent...lol
@@AnthonyRay did you really though??....lol Lose I mean...getting to battle someone you've looked up to, influenced you in great ways. Just the fact alone it's Copy...I mean that's honestly a huge win in my book brudda. Growing up for me it was Doug E. that blew my mind up and my whole world was suddenly bigger, it expanded. Then being instantly obsessed I was on a mission with the help of my family believe it or not, mom, dad, older brother on the hunt for any video or tape that had Kenny Muhammad or Biz beatboxing. I even started watching Jazz singers when they'd do "scats" and other sounds. And discovering more people like Fat Boys and Rahzel. I loved my childhood/teen hood man.
It's a treat to watch all of these battles again and I hope you do GBB 2021's loopstation battles afterwards. :)
I hope he also does the loop eliminations from 2021, I think they’re really underrated despite the audio issues they had.
@@laineyw7257if eliminations, then 2023!!! D.IC.E. put out one of the best performances I've ever seen in loop battles
6:30 actually, he was hitting the mic to produce and record the synth sound you hear, but nice fun fact you brought to the table! xD
Just goes to show how extremely creative he is
U should watch Beardymans showcase from gbb 2019 its amazing!!

4:57 That sounded familiar because it is the same sound Saro made in Oras. I immediately caught that, too.
I was literally waiting for this upload hahhaha love the reaction videos broeder!!

I prefer Rythmind, but Balance is not given enough credit and that's a shame
oh man, rythmind's round was a banger!!!
6:36 here in Brazil, this means the same hahahahahaha
U need to listen with headphone to enter really deep in the feeling of the music and the crafter.
I enjoying re-watch it with u
He's got them good good speakers. No need to worry about it.

Rhythmind went soooo Crazy on him 😂 one of the best Drops in loopstation history
he did use feedback as a sound
Feedback was indeed intentional.
balance had issues in loopstation so it didint work well agains rythmind
I remember, for the longest time, I used to think Rythmind was saying "You scared like me" instead of "You scared by me". I was thinking "Why would you say that?" 😂🤣
Honestly, we need a judge in the gbb panel that is casual music producers like AR
Beardyman is the king of dark music he is creative person I ever seen i am huge fan of legend 🔥🔥🤯
So old school. Sounds great with my 18's pounding. Like I was there.
Somtimes I accidentally say "Rythmind 2019" instead of "perfect"
Rythmind was so great that event
Such a clever drop for the first track
Really underwhelming how he ended up being at gbb21 :/
He messed up a round, can happen. The rest was still fire

No, I didn't win against Copycat, I lost in the final
