Something to keep in mind is you get additive to hit chances the more people engaged with a single enemy, and they get maluses to defense (as well as attack) if their morale is suffering, which surrounding causes. If you can manipulate the enemy movement and your turn order (using wait/adrenaline for example) to get surrounds and maximize friendlies engaged with a single enemy before taking your swings you''ll see a huge efficiency increase.

Back in my 1st playthrough I've tried to strip the barb king with those punctures. He killed 5 of my man with his 2h axe swings just for me to know that he's armor is like 240.
In this video he finally learns why it's good to invest even a modicum of points into resolve... He's lucky those were just low tiers bandits and not ghasts, otherwise it would've been a party wipe.

Not to be a party pooper, but they can come back even without a head, there's a lower chance but they can come back. I've had a few Fallen Heroes decapitated that suddenly went back up headless.

The only thing more frustrating that him not realizing that his oath lowered moral is that no one in the chat was screaming at him.

i don't think i've seen you once increase your melee atk for the whole campaign althrough it is THE GO TO stat for whoever ends up in melee especialy at the beginning at the game lol
I have no idea how you got this far. Every time I get a company just barely out of the early game some friggin orc, goblin, necromancer or some other crap comes out of nowhere and demolishes my boys. I can never get to the point where I actually have money to spare.
