I really hope you weren’t serious about rehoming your cat if she manages to get out again. Cats are very curious creatures and will roam when able to. Especially if they’ve been blocked off in one area. It’s not her fault she got out of the house. She’s had a sad life and you could give her a wonderful life. You started this journey with her because you seemed to care so much for her so if that wasn’t faked, you should finish it with her as well. You ended up with a sweet and loving cat. Be grateful!
Poor Sakura, glad she’s ok. I would of done the same if it was my kitties. Outdoor kitties aren’t normally skittish, she seems more sure of herself when she’s indoors. Just be careful next time. I myself have 5 indoor kitties and two strays who I spayed. 🥰😸🙌🏼
If you do feel Sakura wants to be outdoors, you could build her a little enclosure outside that goes from the window into a little run that has toys, a bed, etc. There are many ways for your cat to be able to go outside safely.

Other than that, they're always in the same spots in the house anyway, and if they aren't there when I do a random check on them, I freak out like crazy. Growing up, i've always like mystery-themed games, movies, and whatnots... being not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, it was a struggle to get most things i really wanted, i had to worked hard for it. now in the news of being a show of the escape the night, i said wow. but then again, i wasnt able to afford the episodes but when it got aired free, i was really surprised and thrilled of the mechanics of the whole show, it was unique and i really loved the puzzles that was incorporated in the series. winning the switch would be the only thing i could have as a memorabilia of the show since i also cannot afford the board game unfortunately. i am not hoping to win it but i hope you know that someone in the Philippines adores you and this show altogether.

Kitties belong indoors be careful to not let her get out! If you want to take her outdoors you can get an in closed play house. But if you do make sure she has flea and heart worm meds (yes kitties can get heart worms)

Leave a door open Joey the cat will go out. They are naturally curious. I have 7 and they are better off inside where we can keep them safe. They are naturally outside animals but to keep them safe we keep them in. Outside cats live an ever age life of maybe three years. Indoor they can live for many years. You did the right thing keeping her. Just keep her in and upstairs away from the dogs.

Owlet better inside between four walls and alive. My dad has found a cat at the place he works and he was undecided of keeping her or not because obviously that cat was an outdoor cat. And he couldn’t actually catch her because whoever came near her she would run off. So in the end he thought that the cat would be happier outside and free than in our apartment. At one of my jobs we had a super nervous cat that lurked outside the office. Took some time of feeding her and slowly getting closer to her but I was finally able to grab her and bring her inside...she absolutely LOVES living the pampered inside cat life! If the door was left open though she would run out and go hide. It was difficult to get her back if she got out as she become so scared and nervous outside that she wouldn’t come to me even tho she would when inside. Cats are curious and if you leave the door open they will go outside. With a cat you need to keep your door shut. It’s not her fault its just their nature

I love the originality of escape the night and the unique plot lines and characters. I really enjoy the genuine reactions and it shows that the you tubers are human too and not just what we see on screens.

If you don't want her outside then I think you're just going to have to keep all the doors closed. She will get used to being inside, and you can even make her a catio so she has a safe outdoor area

Growing up, i've always like mystery-themed games, movies, and whatnots... being not born with a silver spoon in my mouth, it was a struggle to get most things i really wanted, i had to worked hard for it. now in the news of being a show of the escape the night, i said wow. but then again, i wasnt able to afford the episodes but when it got aired free, i was really surprised and thrilled of the mechanics of the whole show, it was unique and i really loved the puzzles that was incorporated in the series. winning the switch would be the only thing i could have as a memorabilia of the show since i also cannot afford the board game unfortunately. i am not hoping to win it but i hope you know that someone in the Philippines adores you and this show altogether.
My cat once got stuck in our neighbours house when they weren’t home because he went through the cat flap and didn’t know how to get out so he was meowing really loudly ;-;
Dark Potato yes that kinda happened to me, my friend lived in this big shared house and it had a half underground basement thing full with random stuff and it was dusty and creepy. we were hanging out and i leaned against the door and i told her i heard meowing. I asked if i should open the door but she said i probably shouldn’t but i opened it anyways and my cat came out. I was thinking about what would have happened if i didn’t open it. I thought her neighbors locked her in there because she can’t get in there on her own 🥺😂

Kitties belong indoors be careful to not let her get out! If you want to take her outdoors you can get an in closed play house. But if you do make sure she has flea and heart worm meds (yes kitties can get heart worms)

Leave a door open Joey the cat will go out. They are naturally curious. I have 7 and they are better off inside where we can keep them safe. They are naturally outside animals but to keep them safe we keep them in. Outside cats live an ever age life of maybe three years. Indoor they can live for many years. You did the right thing keeping her. Just keep her in and upstairs away from the dogs.
I understand what you are talking about. But I do think it's really unfair to keep a naturally curious and adventurous animal confined to being in 4 walls all their life. They love sunning themselves and climbing
Owlet better inside between four walls and alive. My dad has found a cat at the place he works and he was undecided of keeping her or not because obviously that cat was an outdoor cat. And he couldn’t actually catch her because whoever came near her she would run off. So in the end he thought that the cat would be happier outside and free than in our apartment.
Last week my dad found the cat again but it was dead, ran over by a truck.

At one of my jobs we had a super nervous cat that lurked outside the office. Took some time of feeding her and slowly getting closer to her but I was finally able to grab her and bring her inside...she absolutely LOVES living the pampered inside cat life! If the door was left open though she would run out and go hide. It was difficult to get her back if she got out as she become so scared and nervous outside that she wouldn’t come to me even tho she would when inside. Cats are curious and if you leave the door open they will go outside. With a cat you need to keep your door shut. It’s not her fault its just their nature
