Friday was his breakout role, classic comedy. Money Talks with Charlie Sheen is hilarious, funnier than Rush Hour imo. Same director as Rush Hour, and Brett Ratner’s directorial debut.
It amazes me when I see people watch Rush Hour for Jackie Chan when the main star to me is Chris Tucker. One of my favorite actors, although he wasn’t in much, every role was classic!
Although I agree Chris Tucker is amazing in this trilogy I would say both him and Jackie Chan are equally the main characters. Neither of them would survive without the other and there's a bit of cultural exchange between each other which I love. I do feel like they tried to make it into a Jackie Chan movie but they needed an American to help clash with a Chinese point of view and Chris did pretty good with that
They are both the stars to me but I think it’s a demographic thing as well. I know a lot of black people that watched Rush Hour because of Chris Tucker’s humor and ended up falling in love with Jackie Chan also.
A lot of people don’t take into account that people didn’t care as much back in the day so they here old jokes in these movies and just think of what people today would think about it 😂😂 It’s honestly quite annoying.

Holden, your channel is the only reaction channel I’ve seen that has kept on of my favorite jokes in the whole movie in the edit: Carter: “what you gonna do Lee?” Lee: “I’ll bitch slap you back to Africa!” So funny and great chemistry between these two and it also circles back to Carter’s earlier insult when he said he’d bitch slap Lee back to the Ming Dynasty. Love these movies and love your reactions, keep it up.

It aged fine. When will people stop judging films of the past. In 20 years from now what will people think of us? Who cares! Just relax and enjoy the film.
"some of this did not age well".. I had to cut the video off right then.. BLASPHAMY !!!! Good luck w/the marriage...
This how you know they white "What else Chris Tucker from" Friday? Money Talks? Legendary stand up shows? Silver linings playbook? I can't
A lot of white people know Chris Tucker
There are like 6 movies I’ve seen over a hundred times and this is one of them. So glad this movie is getting the nostalgic respect.
This is one of the funniest comedies in my lifetime; and imo the best of this trilogy.
I don’t think Jen likes black humor 😂
Lol. She just disconnected from the culture. So she views it definitely
@@briandiggs3508 She is just another typical white liberal.
Lol right.. she was hating on Chris tucker the whole time
I think she’s just hating on Chris Tucker everything he does is wrong but when Jackie or don did something it’s ok and funny she picks and chooses which black people she likes
Chris tucker also been in 5th Element, jackie brown beside the rush hour series. I don't think he's been up to much besides that, stuff that's well known anyway
“That was the greatest show I ever did.”
Friday is a good Chris Tucker movie..
Film aged just fine. Who gets offended by Rush Hour 2 ? lol.
A lot of people don’t take into account that people didn’t care as much back in the day so they here old jokes in these movies and just think of what people today would think about it 😂😂 It’s honestly quite annoying.
You guys might be the only two people I've heard say they like the first Rush Hour more than the second one.
Personally I think Rush Hour 2 is the rare sequel that is superior to the original film.
"less if you discount credits"
It's a Jackie Chan movie, you never discount the credits
Holden, your channel is the only reaction channel I’ve seen that has kept on of my favorite jokes in the whole movie in the edit: Carter: “what you gonna do Lee?”
Lee: “I’ll bitch slap you back to Africa!”
So funny and great chemistry between these two and it also circles back to Carter’s earlier insult when he said he’d bitch slap Lee back to the Ming Dynasty. Love these movies and love your reactions, keep it up.
Fun Fact: The girl in the Carter was trying to pick up is Maggie Q. This was her first film.
"Hey cutie"
Why did the lady get so offended by that? Lol, wtf?
3:34 Chris Tucker has been in some great movies. Friday, The fifth element, Michael Jackson “you rock my world” music video. He really funny and talented especially around that time period
It's always so fun seeing Jeremy Piven play his role in this movie. The contrast to the one in Entourage is so funny 😂
I recommended watching Friday (1995) Christ Tucker as Smokey is my favourite character of his.
Someone is too sensitive. This cancel culture is so ridiculous. No point in her watching movies like this if she's gonna be offended all the time 🙄🙄🙄
Exactly, she is too old damn to be offended 😂
@@d.1.dx3thapain47 Thank you!!!! 😆
3:22 to any who cares about the actor Kenneth Tsang passed away this week. He appeared in a lot of Shows and movies.
I never realized how much Jen is into the whole PC shit. This movie is funny af, and even Holden can laugh at it and people would assume he as a christian wouldnt.
Loved this and omg can’t wait for the Tarantino movies to roll in for sure 😌
Okay now this is my childhood. You know how you’d always watch the same movie in the car? This was mine
the part where Jackie slides thru the gated countertop is hilarious in the bloopers
Chris tucker scene at the casino is so funny😂😂 this is my favorite out of the three
God I miss the 90s when people weren't offended if someone else breathes
It aged well for people who can take jokes.
The Asian female actress is Zhang Ziyi and shes a wonderful martial artist actress. One of her best highlights is the martial arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
At this point I’m starting to feel like your girlfriend just hasn’t watched many movies at all. Of any kind.
Really cool to see Jen do the intro this time around. Great job, Jen!
This film aged perfectly well. The culture didn't. That's why nobody makes comedy's anymore, well...GOOD, MEMORABLE ones.
Agreed. Society has mutated into an overly sensitive bunch of mamby pambys that are easily offended and quick to condemn for the tiniest slight.
100% agree. you cant make jokes anymore. you should be able to make a joke about anything, if you dont like the joke, move on, thats all there is to it.
Agree
Precisely, society has gone completely downhill.
Jen is starting to sound like one of those twitter mobs who get offended on other people's behalf.
Besides, this is what REAL comedy is suppose to be.
13:09 Everytime I see the sideways gun thing I think of an image of a Punisher comic where someone is holding their gun sideways and shooting at Frank. Frank flanks and dude and says something like "sights are top not the side" before shooting the dude. 🤣
Always a treat to watch you guys
This is my favorite in the trilogy. I had the biggest crush on Zhang Ziyi (the villainess for those who don’t know). I still do. 😎
CONGRATS on your Wedding Giys Happy for you. Been a fan since My Friend Watches.
Nothing wrong with a man calling a woman cutie. This generation is so sensitive.
2 my favorite for the non stop laughs . Had it on VHS . Watched so many times.
It aged perfectly well lady. Lol
Chris Tucker best role IMHO is Fifth Element. Also Friday.
Agreed. Fifth Element is arguably his best role
But he was hardly in that movie
@@Antwannnn Good point. For me, the few moments he had in it were just that funny. That’s what he was so big for back in those days. To some people he was annoying like Jar Jar Binks lol. I thought he was hilarious. I don’t see an issue with people picking Friday though. Both are very good.
@@TheRomansReact I mean for me it's gotta be him as Carter in the Rush Hour trilogy. Smokey is a close second.
@@TheRomansReact I'm pretty sure that's what Jen sees him as lol Jar Jar
Holden broken voice it's karma for making fun at Jen's flawless British accent.
FlAwLeSs 🤣🤣
ik i'm late but congrats on your wedding holden and jen 😃
I liked all of them the same. If I could only watch one I'd throw a 3 sided dice bc it doesn't matter. All stellar, all funny, all action packed.
One of my favorite comedy’s of all time Jsut perfectly paced movie in my opinion
Chris Tucker was also in Silver Linings Playbook, Money Talks, and Jackie Brown to name a couple. :) but he's been pretty low key overall after Rush Hour
Chris Tucker is good in The Fifth Element
Wow such an honour to be featured in a comment of the day especially on a film I'm watching for the first time with jen. Thanks you guys love you both.
You guys mentioned what else that Chris Tucker been in. These I can think off the top of my head: Money talks, Friday, The Fifth Element Jackie Brown
How does Jen love Jim carrey one of the most obnoxious people in the world but doesn't like Chris tucker? 🤨 what's really going on Jen
Yeah I got kind of annoyed
Good point. I’m sure it ain’t anything malicious tho.
@@HolaEZITO yeah I don't think so either. She should give him more of a chance. Maybe even watch the Friday movies. That's how i found out about him and that's where my love for his comedicself came from lol
@@FierceIcon She would definitely hate that. I don't think she is to fond of black humor.
@@briandiggs3508 I hope that's not the case.
Why is she shocked because chris said hey cutie?? Nothing wrong with that. But she was laughing while Jackie was being a whole creep watching the agent undress and mumbling to himself for her to slow down. Seems bias to me
Karen
Foreals she sensitive as fuck
@@xxluvxx2932she needs some BBC
At this point he is holding this woman hostage to watch movies so he has something to upload on UA-cam
Chris Tucker was discovered doing standup on DEF Comedy Jam and did Friday with Ice Cube. Hilarious. Then he did Money Talks with Charlie Sheen then Rush Hour with Jackie Chan. He also did a movie with BruceWillis called Fifth Element. Silver Linings Playbook, Jackie Brown(Tarantino) and Dead Presidents. he was on fire then just disappeared. Now he’s doing standup again and I’m so happy to see that.
I actually do enjoy this one more than the first, I just like the scale and adventurous mood more. Definitely have good memories watching this movie
Chris Tucker is mainly known for his role with ice cube in Friday
These movies still hold up, especially the comedy and the action
4:26 i think some of the production crew from this 'Rush Hour' films were involved in Shang-Chi.
How the fuck did hey cutie not age well!?
The girl is annoying saying this doesn’t age well , like the fact you haven’t seen rush hour 2 just shows you have no American culture lol rush hour 2 especially the sequel is a American cult classic
Agree! I would have to be drunk to live in that house. No humor!!
I also quote these movies often. I can't tell you how many time "Cheap Suits!" "How cheap?!" Has popped up in my head every year.
I’m about to change your whole world with these suggestions: Money Talks, Friday Trilogy, Jackie Brown, and 5th element
I couldn’t imagine fitting in all the filming you guys have done in the middle of moving, and all the last minute wedding prep and stress!
Congratulations! Hope you had a fantastic honeymoon, and money happy years to come!
Just here to give some slight insight on who Chris Tucker is ..he’s a stand up comic that made his debut on Def Comedy Jam and some notable movies he was in besides the Rush Hour franchise are 5th Element, Friday (with Ice Cube..HILARIOUS), Jackie Brown and more.
This is one of my top movies of all time, i watch it VERY often. The jokes are top notch and i love how unacceptable they would be today 😂
petition for lethal weapon to be on the next vote !!!
Chris tucker has been in "Friday" written by ice cube
Rush Hour is seen as one of the greatest trilogies of all-time. The comedy aged well. The movies are amazing and hilarious. Seeing these reactions for the first time. People are soft today so if you're easily offended then the jokes might be offensive.
6:17 » _"Oh my Lord--"_ 😦
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Best Zhang Ziyi movies: Couching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, House of Flying Daggers.
Chris Tucker is also known for “The Fifth Element” “ Friday” also doing stand up comedy in the early 90s. He was on Def comedy Jam on HBO back in the day
