Thank heavens that the doctor has an anti-vape device
The doctor vapes
It goes ding when there’s stuff.
I need one of those to just ignite peoples smoke on fire whenever they vape
Andrew Tate is having his thumbs up somewhere on behalf of The Doctor's device.
I always wonder what the Sontarans were thinking when they picked Earth.
"We need a planet to convert into a clone world."
"What about that one the Doctor spends 90% of his time on?"
"Genius."
Also isn't a Level-5 planet? They shouldn't be allowed to take it, right?
@@captainflowers748 well, the Sontarans have never been particularly intelligent...
@@captainflowers748 yeah, just like the Daleks and the Cybermen shouldnt be allowed to take it like they try to do every freaking year since 1966 yet here we are!
@@DarkAnon100 then again, the daleks and cybermen haven't shown much respect for galactic law in general
@@captainflowers748 To be fair, I don't think the Sontarans would have much of an issue fighting the police if they had too. A problem is the major aliens we see in the show are like super powerful. Sontarans, Cybermen, Daleks. They would likely have no issue wiping out the police if they had too.
I love this episode purely for that one bit of dialogue:
Donna: It’s Sontaran-shaped, you need three fingers
Doctor: You've got three fingers
Donna: Oh yeah.
lol
*proceeds to use 5*
Matt Skates and the shape she makes is the Spock Vulcan salute , nice nod to Trekkies weather intended or not
Put two in her , to unlock her
How about this one:
Sontarans: An intruder! How did he get in?
Doctor: I don't know, in-tru-da window?
The last episode where the Sontarans were actually threats
thanks to Moffat, almost nothing is a threat anymore
I'd say they were last a threat when one appeared in the SJA, which actually did a great job at continuing on from this two-parters' story.
Stellar Sarah Jane adventures
JustSomeUA-camr Before they become potatoes
Warning: You are approaching a FANGIRL!!! They weren't before?
I love the "pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease..." The Doctor does, he has no clue whether this is going to actually work or not, he just doesn't have any other options.
This is all nice and all when you forget about all the birds and planes that got incinerated when the doctor burned out the atmosphere
All flights would have been grounded with an atmosphere like that anyway.
Valiant seemed fine, dont see why planes should be any different
the valiant is a fictional flying aircraft carrier.
It's not like birds would have been flying about in poisonous gas.
coliedug but in the show it has metals like an aircraft the engine which is inside is what would be different
What I don't understand is they have 7 more unoccupied plants in this solar system. So why pick the only planet protected by a time lord that's defeated them for centuries?
john rai
Well, maybe the earth simply had better conditions for life. Mercury is too close to the sun, Venus has a noxious atmosphere etc.
john rai Two birds, one stone.
Because they're morons
Because earth is the only one of those planets that cam support life
The earth is more habitable
There must have been an hell of a greenhouse effect after that.
Blah blah Time Lord parlor tricks.
Well to be fair this gas was meant to be consuming the green house gasses or something if i remember correctly (the attatchement was to make cars have 0 emmisions?) so perhaps the atmosphere was close to CO2 free (which, yes, would cause issues in its own) and upon burning this mysterious gas it underwent some combustion reaction and became the CO2 again, meaning there was only as much C02 in the atmosphere as there was pre-weird-alien-device-magic-no-emmisions-device
Koroistro That is true there 😂😂😂😂
Depends on whether the reaction increases or decreased the amount of carbon dioxide or methane in the atmosphere.
Koroistro So in other words back to normal.
I loved the relationship between Martha and Donna, it's awesome that they got along so well. I miss this era so much, it really was the best series the show has ever produced.
Dill Cooper
Classics say Hello. This isn't even the best series of New Who.
KaloTube Really? Which series is the best of New Who then?
Fifth. In my opinion. The guy above made his opinion seem as fact (which I could respect if he didn't) so did I, in response.
Obviously it's not a factual statement that it's the best series, me saying "this is the best" is clearly my own opinion. Also, I don't like the majority of Classic Who, so I'd have to disagree with you there.
KaloTube Series 5 would have been my favourite, had Tennant stayed on for Series 5, like the original intended way (and no, it's not because Tennant is my favourite Doctor, there is a bunch of reasons). However even though Series 5 isn't my favourite (that's Series 4), I can definitely say that it is the most consistent Series of NewWho and is in my top 3.
Imagine you are this close to conquering a planet for the glory of your empire but some teenager lights a blunt
"I feel like a kid in my dad's clothes"
"If you're calling him dad you're definitely getting over him"
Ok but file this under things that went over my head as a teenager
I...dont get this
@@andrewcurtin7003 Hint: It's always been implied that Martha has had a bit of a crush on the Doctor ever since he kissed her in Smith & Jones.
@@Princess_DYS nah not hinted, she outright said it and it's part of the plot
@@HisServant77 I used the word implied cause it's a children's show. It was kind of outright said, but in such a subtle way that the person above my previous comment didn't get what the original comment was talking about.
@@Princess_DYS eh, no. I’d say if you didn’t get it as a kid it’s because kids aren’t thinking about romance AT ALL and wouldn’t register something like that even if it was blatantly said (which it was pretty sure it was brought up when they reunited with Martha).
tenth doctor ain't afraid of no guns
Arbrax yes he is....
CLARA!!!!
but he's afraid of radiation.
Arbrax "ain't afraid of no..." is double negative, which cancels it out.
Nathan Archuleta got em
"If I see one more gun" .....and this is another reason why I love the doctor........"if I see one more gun I will run into a cyberman ship holding the head of a decapitated cyberman......and he did
Actually, it was a Dalek ship, and a bit of Dalek. Unless you aren't talking about the trip to Trenzalore, in which case, well yeah sure.
Ninetails Both of those happened in same ep.
@@davidmarshall3683 Ah, i see. I haven't seen that episode in a while.
@@ninetails8471 yeah both happened, it starts with dalek ship where he gets send too by handles, which he then escapes cause handles teleports him back into the tardis, then a new ship arrives, the cyber ship, he takes the tardis to it this time, and takes handles with him.
It taked some time but he did it!
That was a bad day for pilots.
im sure all flights were grounded......due to the Alien invasion going on , they can be inconvenient like that , Brilliant ep though
And people who breath oxygen and don't like it when their lungs collapse.
"ladies and gentlemen if you look out to your left you can see the- H O L Y F U C K"
You can land with instruments. Much harder to do but the planes wouldnt be falling out of the sky.
And birds
I like strax but I would love if the sontaran's would come back as a threat and not just comic relief
Yeah definitely I hope these Sontaran uploads are foreshadowing a return to glory for them
Kitchy Maybe Sontarans vs Cybermen?
The Angels Have The Phone Box potato troopers
sadly, i doubt it. Maybe a far distant day. But not soon, no.

‘Darling, those are genders.’
0:20 that sounds like the Dave from the library. "Hey who turned out the lights?"
dude14377 true
donna's dad/grandfather was the best character
Hot Communist A-10 Warthog grandfather* mate
Her dad was in one episode and he wasn't even that good. Wilf is where it's at. Yo.
Blockman 350 when did it show her dad?
It didn't he was never on screen I don't know what this guy is on about. Donna's dad only came into play in 'The End of Time' When he gave the Doctor £1 and said "Have that on me" the Doctor used the pound to buy a lottery ticket for Donna as a wedding present.
Wasn't he in "The Runaway Bride"?
Love Bernard Cribbins as Wilf. He was the best.
3:14 when you finally get let outside your house again after the corona virus
0:03 If he only acted like this in world enough and time...
David Tennant is probably one of the best doctors
probably not...
The best
@Numpteez i kinda like him because he’s self centered it creates great friction within the story just my opinion. if the doctor was perfect it would be boring.
@Numpteez yes that’s true but 10’s arc about him not knowing that he’s sacrificing people in order for him to get his way i find very clever
Tenth Doctor's blue suit was my favourite! He should wear it again in a future multi-doctor story! 💙😉
Got to love when he's like "If I see one more gun-!"
This. This right here is why I love David Tennant. You see him with rage in this whole clip, but you can also see energy flowing in him, determination and love. He has a mission. And there noone and nothing that will stop him. To build a character like that and act that out is pure brilliance at work.
God the score in this scene once the air clears up is still just unmatched.
What is it called?
‘Yeah I did didn’t I’ Ten could say anything and make it sound cool.
Still love 0:00. Guy approaches the doctor armed with a pistol and the doctor just takes it away like nothing
"IF I SEE ONE MORE GUN"
2:57 - 3:16
I could listen to that music on repeat forever. Does that particular track have a name?
I love that are you my mummy part :)
Greeslay oh yeah funny story i was thinking the same thing wen i saw it
I will never forget you capaldi also I will not forget to join the official doctor who UA-cam channel
2005-2009 were the best years of Doctor Who and I wish Russel T Davis would come back
Yeah, well it's a big club. We could get T-shirts...
Blockman 350 the 70s?!!!
gary louk
Yeah, farting aliens, absorbalofs, adipose, toclafane, Dr. Evil version of Davros and Gollum master. The Hartnell through Tom Baker eras don't stand a chance, I suppose.
KaloTube nope
Talking about New Who here. RTD is the least terrible of them all, but that's not saying much. But I still can't decide whether I like the 70's or the 80's better... Scarf and Bessie, or Multicolour Umbrellas and Celery...
Love this scene. It just seems so intense. This whole episode is intense! All of Series 4 is! Back when Doctor Who was amazing. Now it's just good.
Update, it is no longer good
And NOW it's complete shit.
We need the doctor to save Australia
Australia isn't filled with gas, it is literally on fire. This wouldn't save Australia it would just cause more flames, if it was even possible to build something like this.
We need the Doctor to save the world from the Communists Plagues !
You want him to set 🔥....on 🔥.
No the whole world, but then without Carbon Dioxide, the Earth's atmosphere would be Oxygen and methane
Love how the doctor forever plays when the atmosphere is fixed and staals face just looks like he can hear it
This was my first ever Doctor Who episode. I tuned in at near the end and instantly fell in love. As soon as this episode was over, I went and watched The Runaway Bride as my first complete episode. My Doctor and Donna made me fall in love, and I'm in love to this day, even if the quality has gone a bit rubbish since then.
The doctor is the only person who can make a deadly weapon in seconds with materials around him
I'm seeing David Tennant at Wizard World Con in a week!!!
Dude I love Capaldi. Why he be getting so much hate? ( p.s I love Tennant and Smith as well)
I think Capaldi's doctor was written poorly. He could have acted a serious, darker, cool and calculating doctor with a mad man facade. But they tryed to do both at the same time in some sence with most episodes. Also I think the story's were a little naff.
Capaldi's Doctor in my opinion is one of the better Doctors. The problem is the Moffat era. His stories aren't very good, but his acting as the Doctor is great.
Sit down and talk!
Because he was poorly written most of the time, he is objectively the best actor to play him though
I mean, I don't mind Capaldi. I lived him in that episode with the undead soldier. But I find him a bit stale compared to Tennant and Smith. I liked certain parts but as a whole, he was kinda lame
1965 order to Doctor Who special effects team: "I need a rubber alien mask."
2017 order to Doctor Who special effects team: "I need to set the world on fire ... and a rubber alien mask."
"It's London... It looks....exactly the same! Is that fog or the gas?"
David Tennant was and will always be the best modern Doctor out there!
Donna: how do you want to get rid of this poison gas?
Doctor: yes.
,,If I See one more gun..."
I miss and love David Tennant!!!! 💙💙
One of the best moments in Doctor Who history ever!
so uh
about all those planes...
They would've been already grounded
And birds
Edits for Chicken Nuggies but why
I love that ''voice music'' when the fire starts clearing off.
That fire looked so good
This was the best series BY FAR...
Ronan Sloan Series 1-5 were the best series of NewWho. Series 2 was a bit iffy but still had some amazing episodes. At least the show picked up again with Series 9 and 10
I don't know why Series 2 isn't considered a great series, it has Tooth and Claw, School Reunion, The Girl in the Fireplace, the Cyberman two parter, The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, Army of Ghosts and Doomsday? It's literally one of the best seasons, but everyone hates on it because it has a couple of dodgy episodes.
English Giraffe but series 9 was terrible. Series 10 was pretty good though, I'll agree. No major standouts, but nothing as bad as heaven sent (though that's a challenge)

Pepe did nothing wrong Don't you mean Hell Bent? Because Heaven Sent was actually amazing
There are no real threats in Doctor Who anymore, I like it when every episode was intense and you didn't know how it was going to end
nidus that’s every Sci fi Show ever made. If you can’t Handel that type of pradictability then you shouldn’t watch The Sci fi genre , go watch game of thrones or singing more miserable and dystopian
MrVercettti89 don't get triggered
@@shwenty1734 im just pounting out that if you watch Sci FI , excpect the problem of the episode to be resolved by the end of the episode. im just tired of that argument about Sci-fi tv shows
@@DaraGaming42 Well of course almost every plot will be resolved by the end. That happens with every TV show. The problem with a lot of newer New Who is that the stakes never feel that high. Usually it's something bad happens and the Doctor will do some last minute bullshitery that id explained away by simply saying "I'm the Doctor".
It was kinda always like that dude. Why are you even watching this anymore if you don’t like it? Hmmm? Sounds like you just want some attention. Did your parents not give you enough? And don’t try responding I’m not looking at this dumb sh*t.
The old man at the end when he did that little hop jump was adorable
Series 4, the good old days! My personal favourite of them all!
more like the doctor ignites the ATMOS-sphere, amirite?
whats the name of the soundtrack when the atmosphere is being engulfed... I NEED IT
They're all remarkably calm considering that for a few seconds there it looked like THE END OF THE WORLD AND HELLFIRE WAS DESCENDING

Nobody will ever top David tennant as the doctor
Sam Lawton except all those have come before and after him?
Sam Lawton
Your opinion.
Capaldi is my favourite.
Sam Lawton Tom Baker.
It's all just opinion. Tennant is still my favorite with Baker being a close second. But why quibble over an embarrassment of riches? All of the Doctors were good in their own ways.
Michael Gonzales Even number 6 and 7?
I already loved Martha Jones as a character and Freema Agyeman is both a talented and beautiful actress who really brought her to life. But because she got to make an appearance wearing nothing but Ten's coat, she's gets the top of my list.
The video quality is so good, damn

All of them?
I like the bit with the gun. The Doctor does not worry or talk his way out of trouble or miss one step. even if he was pretty sure the dud would fire, he was angry, not concerned. '10, your War is showing'

I find it hilarious how if anything anywhere close to this scale was replicated it would beat up the earth like a hot pocket in a microwave and push humanity to extinction
Well we aren't time lords, the calculations alone to avoid that fate and numerous equally bad fates have got to be mindboggling.

I mean heat spread by radiation spreads at the speed of light, so I would say it’s reasonable to say if the chemical reaction generated enough heat it could reasonably ignite more gas farther away and relatively fast speeds.

Yeah I was just talking about my favourite episode with Matt Smith as the doctor. I Don't compare them to each other. I have a favoruite episode for every doctor. :) But the ending with Donna was really sad aswell. I might have cried a little... but mantears.. :^
The Angels Take Manhattan was just one giant plot hole.
Back in the day when the Doctor could burn the sky by macgyvering a device with whatever random tech was around. Can't believe people say Moffat is implausible...
People just need something bitch about.
Reagan Tao i know it old but, he was in a room with some of the highest tech on earth as well as alien tech. Moffat would have had the doctor wave his screwdriver and the day is saved
He used technology that was provided by aliens. Better than him creating a sonic screwdriver out of Earth materials somehow.
The bit when the Doctor was going "please please please" reminded me that The Doctor was near the bottom of his class as a kid on Gallifrey, nearly failed out, and he genuinely has no idea if this would work. Because by Time Lord standards he's a bit of an ignoramus. He's just got an emotional intelligence other Time Lords lack, he has the empathy and compassion that most of his species doesn't.
LOVED THIS SHOW SO MUCH!
oh i miss this :'(
David should haved stayed for 5 or 6 seasons...
The tenth doctor and all his little makeshift devices.
He's the 11th doctor
