@@Twatterlive Yeah but you can still create shorts and grow doing multistream. Ofc some will disagree that it's wrong. As long you have fun streaming is more important than viewers, at least for me. I feel like when you're to focused on viewers instead of having fun while streaming the whole point of streaming isn't fun any more. Had that focus myself a couple of years ago and I know how it hurt my stream when I first started on Twitch. But when I watched a YT video about not showing your viewerbase numbers on stream everything changed for me back in the days. Ofc you might disagree with me but I rather have fun than focus 200% on my viewers. Everything solves out in the end if you're having fun and network with other streamers
@@MikeTheFatman. fun is always the most important but if you want to grow the most you shouldn’t multistream. Let’s say you have 100 people ready to watch you but you split them on kick and twitch. Now you only have 50 views each and are farther down in the category, getting seen by less people and getting less new people into your streams. If you’re serious about growing you’ll direct all of your 100 people to one place, that way you can rank up in the category and actually become a streamer people have heard of. It’s always what you make of it but I tell you what you need to hear in order to make the most with the opportunities you have
I appreciate this video, found your channel out today and will be checking your twitch out as well! I’ve been talking about streaming for years and in January was gifted a PC and no reason for excuses so we been out here grinding. I hit 100 followers so now I have a 100 follower Subathon celebration coming up on the 3rd, I’m learning as I’m growin and having a ton of fun. As of lately I’m at 119 followers and average 8-12 viewers with peaks of 18-21
I made 1K followers on kick in only 1 year and my chat is active along with the viewers and my whole community was built on kick because i have no cam, and twitch streamers with no cam get no where on twitch
Did not mention that in addition to the Twitch take, iOS also takes 30% of any transaction made, so creator on twitch are making wayyyy less right now than they should be. Apple is being sued as of last month by the federal government for their practices, and once they prevail, it’s like a massive pay raise for ANYONE receiving money through iOS.

Twitch doesn't take 50%. Some of the 50% is tax and you don't earn USD 250 if you do streaming legally, if you make a withdrawal as salary you also pay tax on that, as a business.
