- I review the 2012 Range Rover Evoque Prestige edition. After driving the car for a while, I really started to like it. What do you think about the Evoque? @@TwoToneX I had few major issues but fortunately all of them were during the warranty (Cracked exhaust manifold and bad transmission). But no problems since then. The only thing I don't like now is body creaking noise. They were never able to fix them even after multiple tries. Not sure if they improved quality with current models. I would recommend Porche Macan instead. But my car still gets comments from people even after 6 years.
@@rsinghal17 how much did all that cost was it expensive or average?
@@TwoToneX If those things broke outside of warranty, it would be 15k for both exhaust manifold and transmission (very expensive).

You guys in the US most like the Evoque, I work opposite the factory here in Liverpool and there's a constant stream of transporters heading to the docks for shipment across the Atlantic.
A bit late here, but thanks for your review! I test drove a 2012 today, with super low mileage. I must say that I appreciate ALL of what you had to say, and agree with you WHOLLY. I will most likely be making this purchase. I'm an *around town/Dad type* who owns a Mercedes AMG T63 wagon. This will be a FINE secondary used vehicle. :D I appreciate you! You're very good at what you do!

I definitely liked the format of the video of when you gave the car a second chance to redeem itself. The time split in the video was an excellent idea.
Very nice review, Matt ! Many of your impressions seem to match the ones I had driving and reviewing the new Land Rover LR2. They really are very comfortable cars and eventhough they are not sporty to drive, it is fun to cruise with these things, have a good track playing in the radio and just relax. A diesel engine like the ones we get here in europe, seems like the better choice for me. Greetings, Guido

I can't believe this car is 172 inches long. To put things is perspective, my 2005 Nissan Sentra is 173 inches long.
Thanks! I don't know about the dash unit though, the Jaguar F-Type I drove last week had the same exact unit, just 2 years newer, and it was very fast with all of the buttons.
reason why the dash unit lags is for safety...they dont want the driver messing with it while driving...if it was fast then the driver will most likely keep looking at the screen instead of the road.. only takes a split second to crash when your looking at a device/phone ect.. while driving.. so set up the play list/maps before you head out for a drive... nice review your putting great quality into your videos now... GT86 owner :)
Look out. The design of the 2016 Ford Escape. J/K I actually like ford but it wouldn't surprise me when Ford does their refresh of the Escape to give it a Range Rover look.

You should review either a Hyundai genesis 2.0t, since its a comparable car to the brz! Or a mazdaspeed3 since its an affordable fast car! Or you should atleast give your opinion on them in your next review! I like watching all your videos/reviews! Good job man, keep up the good work
I will answer that question in more depth in tomorrow's weekly update, but the short answer is no, it won't void the warranty.
yeah no problem.. not a expert on the head unit but thats what came to my mind safety .. might be a bug or can be change/needs firmware upgrade if it supports that.. love the videos keep them coming.. would really like to see you as top reviewer for like motor trend /drive ect.. you have potential in you i can see it in your work..
i set inside one before, very comfortable and more spacious than it looks.

I think this one in Prestige model will be my second car next to my 2013 STI sedan with stage 2 and redone JPM Coachworks interior. They seem like the 2 perfect cars to have. :)

I think they should have just called it the Evoque. The whole Range Rover designation just isn't necessary and I don't get why they did it that way.
