I'm not a smite player, but did that fenrir build poorly? Does fenrir have high base dmg? seems like he was really squishy early/mid and should have built tankier against what i'm assuming is a support style character (maui). Could someone fill me in? Id love to know more.
no he built good tbh i think he just got too greedy at some points trying to build transcendence or his first item since he needs to stack to max it out

I had a Maui match vs Sol and once it got to late game I could fight her out of tower and even her under tower and win. She abused the matchup and I had to wait, but I mean I won so I would give the worst god in duel to khep or sobek

@@jonfall7941 i get what u are saying but ymir has an instant cone that stuns and a giant circle with a slow. i might be wrong anyway but it seems much harder for maui and his autos also have some range
@@MattyJV61 unfortunately maui really is just bad while alone. All of his abilities are clunky if he's the primary target of the enemy, particularly if they are close to him.
Obviously if he's doing his guardian job peeling for allies it's not as much an issue, but it's so hard to land his abilities while enemies are in his face, so yea he's definitely weaker than ymir. That said, if you invest in his autos you'll find yourself not even having a use of trying to use your abilities because the long wind ups make you maybe even lose dps for using them compared to just left click, but if you can hit the abilities and invest in them that's probably where he's at his best, albeit not great.
A friend and I played a bunch of maui duels trying to make it work. It's so so hard, no build really felt right or at least good.

being a 36 star kephri kinda annoyed at you.. Kephri isn't about raw damage you have to think about other ways to do increase output or decrease the other guys lifespan.. think about it and try to make a big brain come out of it.
