The front oil pressure port shows 10-15 psi higher due to the fact the oil has yet to feed the main and rod bearings. Brent Lykins of Lykins Motorsport will confirm this if anyone has their doubts

You may be right, since I know the cleveland style motors do have oiling problems in the sense that the top end gets all the main oiling and the bottom end gets the last of it. Plus the front port is closer to the oil pump as well, but you can still hook a gauge to that location and it will give you the pressure that the oil pump is putting out and will let you know that you still have good oil pressure. Thanks for the input though. Thanks for watching.

Ok ! With my 347 , 351 I took a tee off oil pressure line so I can have mechanical and factory gauges. Thanks for the head video.

Yeah that works too, that’s how my friends 77 with a 400 is, uses a tee. I just like having them ran in different spots if possible, plus it’s useful if you want to put one in place of a 302, factory line hooks right in with some adapters. Plus some people don’t know you can do it so I thought it would make a good video. You’re welcome, thanks for watching.
