Awesome review/comparison, I would recommend Fenix cl09 lantern. Small size multiple led color and decent run time. It can use cr123 and 16340 Lithium ion. I've had mine for a few years now
Thanks for sharing that! I'm planning to do a video on larger lanterns and have had my eye on the Fenix CL30R which is a bit larger but the runtimes are incredible.
Glad you enjoyed the review! Im going to remake this video in a few months with a few different options! Lots lf excellent lanterns out there these days.
No problem Greg thanks for keeping up with my videos I really appreciate your support! Planning on another comparison with 4-5 larger rechargeable lanterns as well.
Black Diamond ReMOJI has been my choice. I have both the battery and R (rechargeable) version. The battery version is much larger by-the-way and less powerful. They also make a dual power which is battery and rechargeable but I have not tried that. The Moji R+ has 200 lumens not 100 and is about $50. The R+ has a rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery that charges with a micro USB. The Moji +’s RGB LED can keep a continuous cycle through the colors or stop/strobe on a single color. With a rating of IPX4, this camp lantern is stormproof-meaning it’s tested to withstand rain and sleet from any angle.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! I'm going to revisit lanterns again sometime this year and I'll be sure to get a shot comparing their lowest outputs. Most of my more recent flashlight comparisons have low mode comparisons.
I love them too, I’ve owned a few of them though and I believe the waterproofing isn’t very great and they just die, also the crushable material eventually starts degrading and cracking apart. 😢
That would be the Nitecore. I've looking at doing a video on a few larger lanterns with higher outputs and longer runtimes and will put out a video on them as well in the next month or so.
Great video. I wish all the gear research vids were like thi sone. Clear, concise, and side by side comparison with actual specs. Keep it up!
This was one of the best reviews on items that I’ve ever seen.
If anyone is reading this as of today 11/25/2022 the ML4 is on sale for $26 on their website along with phenomenal deals on other lights.

@Louie Gianni Thanks, signed up and it seems to work :) Appreciate it !!
@Arlo Desmond you are welcome xD
Thanks a lot! Super nice that you took photos in the dark. Most other revuews showed the lanterns in daylight..
Glad you enjoyed the review! Im going to remake this video in a few months with a few different options! Lots lf excellent lanterns out there these days.
Thank you for showing all these lights side by side. Great comparison and I appreciate the info!

Been using the la30 for about 2 years now. Works like a charm
Glad to hear its holding up well for you! It really is an excllent lantern.
Remoji is all I have to say. So good my 4 year old lost my prior one and I repurchased a new one without even thinking twice.
Yeah it is a great lantern! My little kids are always running off with my Obulbs lol

I upgraded to Nitecore LR50, a lantern, a powerbank and battery charger. So versatile.
Thats great! Nitecore has a decent selection of lanterns! It would be worth comparing them all in a video lol
Best lantern comparison video I’ve seen. Very informative!
Wow! Thank you. I'm fed up a watching a set of adverts edited together and called a review.
This is the way reviews should be done!
Cool video. I like the organization of the video very much. It would be nice to see comparison shots of the lanterns on lowest setting as well.

Please Make Video for Warm white comparison and options. Very nice video, thank you
I own the Goal Zero, Love it,,You forgot to mention it also has a setting to mimic candle/firelight,,,and the Solar option is great,...

Greeting from Hong Kong. Like your comparison with different lantern in different angle. Good video and good luck 😄
Awesome! Thank you! I've done many flashlight comparisons this way too! ua-cam.com/video/u5IaCx9y76k/v-deo.html
@@UrbanSurvivor Subscribed and will check, thanks!
Great video. With one has the longest run time on high?

@@UrbanSurvivor awesome. Thank you.

Glad I could help! Thanks for watching my video and let me know how it works out for you!
I'm also buying the LA30 la. Good job buddy.
Great choice I am sure you will like it!
Getting a couple of the Nitecore lamps
Hey if you are still looking check out this video! I compared 4 larger lanterns too - ua-cam.com/video/vpPDrp6916I/v-deo.html
Great summery!
Hello, No fenix light? Is it normal the la30 cri led consumes about 2 Times more to the other lanters led??? Thansk u
Fantastic review thankyou!
Hi, just wanna confirm that LA30 uses 2 AAs or 2 14500s? AA = 1.5v and 14500 = 3.7v. Thanks.
It runs on AAs dont think its compatible with 14500s but it also has the built in battery
I like the ml4 but that lousy runtime on high sucks so probably the nitecore is my best choice.
fantastic review!
Great review..
