I love how the dragons say that because the patent is pending, she can speak freely. If someone else enfringes on it will will cost us entrepreneur money to go against them in litigation. So even though she is protected by that patent, it will also come out of her pocket to utilize that protection.

I think it's really interesting watching these videos in 2022, don't know if anyone remembers the pitch from years ago when a guy came in wearing a kilt and colourful mohawk and he got destroyed by the dragons for his 'alternative' appearance.
They never mention these things now 😂
I work for a software company and we use the outsourcing model for companies because it's cheaper and ressources are scarce. The IP of the code and the sourcecode is still hers no matter where it's being coded.

i think the dragons overwhelmed the sweet lady by indirectly asking her to reveal the tech and code. to a layman it'' appear as giving out the coded script. there are huge banks, i mean really huge that outsource their entire tech solutions. some are registered and proprietary and others are not. we live in an opensource world, where the gaps are reducing every year. i feel dragons took her very lightly perhaps its to do with her overall personality. BTW - The company Orion Computer Consultancy Limited, that manages the tech of Toto Sleep Limited is owned by Victoria Fullarton's parents 😉
It's always disappointing to see how poorly the Dragons interrogate tech ideas. At this stage, all that matters are the assumptions and the ability to execute. None of the Dragons asked - is the kid going to keep the watch on? Isn't it just going to say the same thing every night? What's the desired behavior - just wear it until it beeps then drop everything and get the kid to bed like it's a fire alarm?
Also I've never heard anyone in Silicon Valley say "Silicon Valley".

I'm surprised that she is a child psychologist. Most child psychologists across the globe are saying that both parents and children need a detox from tech. Mobile and wearables have a lot of radiations that are bad for children physiologically and psychologically.
Nagraj, can you share an academic article which supports your claims that mobiles and wearables have high levels of radiations and furthermore this radiation damages children?
Right now I think you are fooling yourself with these claims. But I may be wrong. Please share

*If you're confident that the devices are perfectly healthy then carry on using them.*
*And if you're confident that your kids should be around these devices and even use them as early as possible, then go right ahead and do that too.*

Terrible idea. You don't allow a child to choose bed time. You do things to soothe and train for when they need to sleep. Baths, bedtime books, etc. All this tech crap isn't helping. Do you honestly want your child relying on technology to function so that your child needs no thought process at all??? Pulllease give your child a chance to be free of gadgets forcefully strapped to them while they are children. Shame!!!

@Abhishek Ganguly...I don't believe a team of coders have to be in an actual physical structure (i.e. an office). In house is not a literal term used any longer. A business can have in house coders working off site.
Do you understand what outsourcing means.
