Touker's idea is pretty genius. In North America we don't even call them wipes, we call them baby wipes. Penetrating the baby market would be a super unique way to access this market. The only issue would be there would need to be more clarity on what was in the product, as newborn parents tend to be a bit hesitant to use "new" products on their most prized possession.
Idk where your from but in America we call them flushable toilet wipes you can get them everywhere for adults and children - Walmart Amazon Kroger everyone has them get out from under that rock😂
Flushable wipes are not a thing, there is evidence that supports flushable wipes block sewers, in most flushable wipes they are smaller or thinner that helps however the extremely slow break down of these products an the strong fabric make up means this product would be so much better
Would take an experience dragon with proven experience in different fields, esp retail, over a 28year old with one social media company, who has no diverse portfolio, no retail product experience.
Another market is women on their period. Assuming it’d be safe to use, and given it’s to be used on toilet paper, it should very much be, it can be very helpful on heavy flow days. Few things are grosser and feeling dirty like that. But marketing it may be iffy, also may turn off male users (no idea, but I can see that happening).
"99% people don't know they have a problem with dry poop on their ass" if that's true its embarrassing. Thought this was an advanced society. Advanced mustiness lol
not every company needs a dragon to succeed, there’s been a fair few of pitches that were shunned by the dragons and did well afterwards e.g. shakesphere as iv recently bought their shaker bottle and it’s probably the best on the market
That was a great offer. The product was clearly useful for both babies and adults and whilst Touker was thinking predominantly baby product it could have easily been marketed for baby and adult use. They were a couple of fools for declining the offer.
So, it is Touker. If you had understood the provocation of a rather immature interruption, you would have followed the response and not asked a 5tup1d question. Perhaps you landed in a parallel dimension.
@@PhantomFilmAustraliaIn the long run, it probably doesn’t have that mich impact. it depends on the product, I’m sure, but a lot of times it’s just a fad.
That awkward moment when it's 6pm and the train is packed with commuters heading home from work. A train filled with 99% of the commuters that have dry poop on their bottom side! When parents deal with their babies after they shat their nappies, what do they do.?.... Do they use tissue to clean after the child?? No... parents use wet wipes. So do they not question themselves, "why don't we do them same ?" 🤔🤯🤯
The only thing for me is where do you keep the bottle if you don’t have a shelf right by your toilet or within reach? On the floor next to it? Most people don’t have a toilet where you can keep the product on it, so it’s too much work for the general public

I really don’t like Stephen. I think he’s really rude and big headed. I hope someone replaces him, if they film more. The others and Sara are really good but Stephen, no. I miss Taj, he was much more respectful and not egotistical.
They should partner with a tissue brand and have it sold with a packet of tissue. Otherwise this is not going to be a thing. Whereas if people have it come with the tissue, they are more likely to try it . Having it as a standalone product is , excuse my pun, a shite idea
I have a natural sea sponge beside the toilet and a bath tap within reach. Much softer than paper, and soap is cheap. The only mishap I ever had was when a friend came to stay for a few months with his new girlfriend. I found someone was using all of my toiletries. I tried to mention this and the woman got stroppy. It was then I informed her what I used the sponge for and that I had been suffering from diarrhoea. The horror on her face was great to see.
Can they please get Touker off this show? He comes off as not knowing anything about business and is so self conscious about it that every time anyone disagrees with him he gets whiny and claims he’s the most experienced dragon. So annoying.
They refused and that was their mistake. Even with the pandemic with masks and hand gels, bleach wipes, and social distancing, everyone did that lettle extra to he clean. Countries with populations over a billion who have accepted carrying around their poo residue cause they just splashed water on their bum and left the bathroom with a wet bottom would have tightened up their hygiene to match the rest of the civilized worlds and used this item. It could've become a necessity in every bathroom around the world.
Thank GOD, get away from the "just use water" concept. Poo has an oily substance and yet people in some countries accept the poo residue left on their bums by sitting on water for a squirt of water....eeuuwww....NOT CLEAN😳. SO, this sounds like a perfect alternative.
Steven and Touker demonstrated that they're both in the baby market.
Ouch! Steven and Toucker definitely NOT sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!
Old money took 30 years to accumulate and new money took less than 5 years
They should have accepted Touker's offer. His experience and willingness to help start ups is invaluable.
They're doing really well without him.
I don’t know. Not knowing him at all, he just seems really difficult to deal with. He’s really grumpy and Whiny. Maybe it was a bad episode for him
Silly to reject that offer - placement in retail would be gold esp. if also directed to mothers.
100% should have invested, rock solid name, humor should be used to sell the product similar to that of Squatty Potty in the US. Direct to consumer.

You have to be in business and not stand down and bow to anyone.

They declined Touker’s offer. What a dumb thing to do. I guess having 100% per cent of nothing is better than 75% of something
But they don't have nothing, they have a great company that they want to take in a different direction. And there are other investors out there!

Regarding the description, how does it turn toilet paper into environmentally friendly toilet paper? It's still the same paper, just with gel on it.
OP is clearly a wet wipe user
its an alternative to wet wipes/baby wipes

So why on earth did they decline??
Steven is always disagreeing with Toucker in most episodes, Steven needs to chill, as he always thinks he knows more than the other Dragons.
I agree, however something tells me that Touker isn't convinced of the true power social media is in influencing sales.
