Thanks, Daniel for this list of award winners in OC. Some of the places mentioned, I've been too, other ones will be on my list to now visit. I always do at least one food review- during my visits when in town. Nice to have some local insider info for the many food options available depending on your tastes. From S. 2nd St. inlet to the State line at 146 St. yes, your tastebuds do matter in Ocean City, MD.
If you've been to OC you know theres A LOT of really meh places you can go to BUT theres also some really great spots as well. I went thru a lot of meh places to find the ones I thought worthy of being in OC and a lot of those places made this list while some I have yet to try even after 40yrs of vacationing in OC. The Hobbit and a few others we're gonna try this summer thanks to this. Also, thanks to this video, I now know why Fagens Island plays that overture now. Totally back Lombardi's and Bull on the Beach is a must visit every year. The Crab Bag was a bit of a let down and I thought On The Bay Seafood & Crab Alley rated higher for quality and customer service. Also I want to note our waitress at Crab Bag tried to rip us off with the bill and we should have put 2 and 2 together because another table she had was also having an issue with their bill as well - and as much as the drinks were Crab Bag is not willing to get you drunk or even remotely buzzed there.
The yearly award winners are from an All-star balloting style. The winners are the ones who got the most votes not necessarily the eateries that get the highest reviews. By the way I live here year-round. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Is Santa using those turtles for reindeer when the green trutle is decorated for Christmas that's silly and it has reefs between ever corner and on top of the roof too.
From a local's perspective I totally get your review. I have never eaten there but have met many islanders who have the same opinion as you. This yearly contest is an MLB all-star type ballot.
And. Second. Place is. With. The. Best subs. Runner up. Is....... Wassup with the weird pauses in your speech. Driving me nuts broski. Good picks though. Alotta good spots
Whiskers. Best pub in north oc. Laytons on 92nd best breakfast.
I definitely plan on visiting Rosenfeld’s Deli my next visit - thanks for the info!

It was cool to traverse the entire length of the island on a free morning to film the different locations.
Thanks for all your videos Daniel. I really enjoy them!
Awe thanks. I enjoy filming them. It helps me appreciate where I live.
Sure miss Phillips-surprised Ropewalk didn’t win something-great spot on the Bay!
Ropewalk was runner-up for Ocean City Best Bars "Sunset View" Category. Weather and time permitting I'll film the Best Bars Division this weekend.
Thanks for sharing
We need year round living peoples awards
Best up scale , special event Italian restaurant is Restoranti Antipasti on 34th street. The owner strolls and greets repeat patrons.
I love Anthony's. That's my go to for sandwiches when I'm in OC on vacation.

There was a deck bar next to the room I stayed in that's where a got a grilled cheese and it's called bull on the beach is that it.
Barn 34 all the way!
Green Turtle??? - bad taste buds 😆
Bayside Skillet is expensive and gimmicky. I personally have liked Layton's for breakfast for the past 25 years.

No Liquid Assets??
Must have been too pricey to make the cut.
Did I miss something I didn't see PIT N PUB 28th Street?
I didn't film the runner-ups locations. I only mentioned them while videotaping the award winners.
I agree with some, but have to shake my head at others. My biggest question is who decided these?
I think it's like an all-star type voting.
Who are the all stars?
Anthony’s for sandwich expensive.
Yes, they aren't cheap but they are very good. I usually limit my family treat to once a year.
I'm a born and bread Marylander and I've never liked crabs,
What about.. Dog friendly for those of us who vacation with our whole family.
Dogs must be leashed at all times and are restricted on the beach and boardwalk during the summer season. Hope this helps.
