Now last August-August is a day away-we got a video from Daniel Kester that talks about the slowdown in Ocean City heading into autumn. Remember that video? He could 'feel' towards the middle or end of August that Ocean City was changing, away from summer. Will we get that same feeling this year? Let us know.

For the record I apologize for misspeaking, the channel that leads to Sunset Marina is on the south side of Stinky Beach..The channel referred to was on the north side and leads to the Ocean City Fishing Center Marina.

I believe they head out between 4-6 am and
3-5am leaving. Weigh-ins are from 4-9pm.

I never heard "across the reach." Saw Dolores Clairborne, the movie; maybe it was mentioned in the movie, but too busy at the edge of my chair

Went to several crabs locations. None of the crabs are actually large or have weight! If you’re looking for big crabs … OC ain’t the spot
True. Walking across the dunes especially after being away for a long time is a great feeling.
We used to go to Ocean City for a week every summer and we had 'invisible rules', LOL, I guess you'd call it. We wouldn't go to the beach before 9am, unless it was to take a walk or look for shells, and we'd be back in our motel around 3:30pm or 4:00pm for a required nap, which is needed if you're swimming, dodging waves or body surfing.
Beach week marathon, pacing yourselves.
