7:48 71975 on the license plate, is another nod to splash mountain. It is paying a tribute to Song of the south memorabilia, From the Wonderful World No.7 The reason I say that is because The Wonderful world of Disney No.7 came out in 1975, so this must be a reference to that, as if you combine the numbers together, it says 71975, the same thing on the license plate.
Your reply makes more sense than what I thought. 1975 is when Carousel of Progress opened at Magic Kingdom in Florida after being at Disneyland for 6 years (wish it was 7 to match the plate since there’s no July or July 19 reference)… which is then how America Sings came to be at Disneyland. That’s where the Splash animatronics came from.
The rabbit didn't steal the license plate! Lari the Armadillo did it! He collects and distributes all the materials for the animals' instruments! He's a total klepto! This is actually cannon for Lari. 🤣🥰
Say what you want about the whole Splash mountain and Tiana's bayou adventure debate but the little Rabbit, Fox, and Bear figures are so freaking cute.
In my family I’m the “Disney one” who always know what to do at the parks and lots of hidden secrets, and I have TPM and all his videos to thank. He’s my main source for all my Disney wisdom.
That was fun! I liked the kitchen and the pictures of Tiana's father we get to learn MORE about him it's too bad about what happened to him in the movie but at least he's being honored in the ride
According to the disney parks youtube channel Lari the Armadillo stole all of the items that were used as instruments for the band. So, the band didn't steal them themselves they got it from mischievous lari. 😂
7:42 I did a little digging on the significance of the year 1975 in Disney history and came across the Disney wiki for events and things that happened in 1975. I found in my research a list of Disney artists that joined the company in 1975, and one artist stood out to me, Randy Cartwright. He worked on Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, the lion king, and get this... The Princess and the Frog! Im assuming the 7 and 19 may represent the day Randy joined the project of the princess and the frog?
@@zoewong7891at this point exploring all the secrets and history of Disney is just like figuring out five nights at Freddy’s! There’s a lot and it’s lots of fun!

I have only ever been to Disney about half a dozen times with my family. But my grandmother LOVES your videos! I play them for her when I go to visit and she is always interested. We went her 4 times from the late 90s to mid-2000s.
Even if the ride is kinda mid, I give props to Disney for honoring Splash Mountain in so many ways, and adding amazing details from the Princess and the Frog movie Edit: honestly I wished Disney kept the tree stump of Chickapin Hill and just placed it with greenery
yeah there really was no reason to get rid of it. in the concept art you can actually see it was supposed to be the tree that holds the boat that mama lives in. but for some reason they ditched it completely even though it would totally still make sense
@@calliemyersbuchanan6458because they did not check if the structure would support it, which it wouldn’t. They should have never taking away the masterpiece of splash for this slimey Dei attraction!
Hi TPMVids! I'm glad you have this video. I loved Splash Mountain it was my favorite ride. And I am glad they added easter eggs to the attraction. I still really miss Splash Mountain.
Hi TPM vids, I really enjoy your videos! I first watching you when I was making a speech about Disney secrets. and your channel was what inspired some of my info from. So keep it up ❤
I recently went to Lagoon, an amusement park here in Utah, and their newest ride "Primordial" breaks the norm for the otherwise traditional rides they feature. Lagoon's rides are usually just get on, ride, and get off but this one actually has a story, a preshow room with an audio animatronic who gives exposition, an in ride videogame that displays your score, multiple endings! Seriously Primordial feels like something you would find in a California/Florida park! I recommend checking it out if you're ever in the area. Just know if there's a visible line outside you'll probably be waiting two hours for a very short ride.
I really enjoyed you pointing out all of the Splash Mountain "easter eggs" and other secrets. I probably would have never noticed how imagineers tied the two together even though I know they do that when a ride is changed.
Has anybody else realize in the shop, a figurine of the log with some band animals in it has the rabbit on the front of the log like the splash mountain one's did. They did remove the rabbit on the actual ride vehicles.
On the desk in the queue there is a box under brer frog that says the sweetest song you have ever heard with some music notes I wonder what that song is
Thank you for this! I've seen several videos on the ride and whether they liked it but none on the actual story behind the ride itself. I think I now have a better appreciation for the ride as a result 👍
The closest thing I came up with on the license plate was the 20th year anniversary of Disneyland. but that makes absolutely no sense so I don’t think it means anything. It’s probably song of a south reference.
Thank you for doing this. I rode the ride on a preview with a storm rolling in so we rushed through the queue. I doubt I’ll be waiting through the whole queue.
I'll be honest. Although Splash Mountain is sadly gone, Tiana's Bayou Adventure doesn't seem that bad. It's not perfect, but it still has secrets that pays tribute to its old counterpart. Anyway, thanks for showing the other secrets TPM Vids 😁
@mataly360 I felt the same way, but when I got on it last week, it was so amazing and beautiful. It totally changed my mind and I think it is a great change.
Honestly, the most surprising thing in this video was seeing the Tiana animatronic in the finale move. When I rode, she was frozen except for the head, and I didn't know if it was a malfunction or intentional.
@7:50 WNO radio could be a reference to WWNO - our real radio station which plays a wide varity of local musical styles BUT UNO only started it in 1972.
I love the new tiana ride eventhough there are still some mixed feelings about it that we should respect I still think that it’s great that we got a new ride in general😊
The style of art you mentioned in the Safety first video, and the song "Almost There" looks like it was inspired by Aaron Douglas, Except he would have been only 14 or 15 when WW1 happened.
I got a screenshot of the gumbo recipe, and I will try it. I don't have Daddy's secret seasoning, though. 😅. I wonder if they sell it in the parks. The license plate is most likely a date reference. I can't wait to ride Tianas. I wonder if we will get Lari at Disneyland.
I want to watch this so bad but I can't until I experience it for myself in October!!!! Noooo!! 😭 So...I'll be back in the comments in a few months. Looking forward to it! ❤️❤️
There's another hidden Splash Mountain Easter Egg in Tiana's Bayou adventure. When you depart in your log there was a barrel on the left just before you went up the lift hill. On Tiana's Bayou adventure there's the same barrel in the exit giftshop. There's 1 more tribute to Splash Mountain.

What about the water tower with the message behind saying “Never ever lose sight of what was really important”?
It’s the last thing Tiana’s dad says to her in the movie before he goes to war
it’s in the beginning of the movie, it has a lot of significance- tiana says it before she defeats the shadow man too
