Great vid of the Disney Secrets. I used to work there, and didn’t know about some of these. When you would use the restroom in Bugs land, you would hear the sounds of bugs inside…..hey, they gotta go too! I would bring back the big waterfall from the mine train. It was a great aesthetic feature. Thank you for the presentation!
At Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, there's a desk on display with some old papers. One of the papers has the "XS Tech" logo, which pays homage to the now defunct Alien Encounter attraction from Disney World that operated from 1995 to 2003.
I love this video! I find the history of the Disney parks so interesting and it’s amazing how much footage of the older stuff you are able to find, especially with the mine cart. Thank you TPM vids!!!
Fun fact: superstar limo also had to go because the ride was about running away from paparazzi. Avoiding paparazzi is one of the reasons Princess Diana died.
Actually Diana died while it was still in development, which is why it supposedly turned from a more fun and fast-paced ride into the snoozefest it ended up being. Budget cuts and stuff didn’t help, for sure. Idk how much I believe that it totally would have been a better ride if they’d just gotten to stick with the original idea, but Diana’s at least what they rely on as an excuse 😅
That’s why Superstar Limo was downgraded from an e-ticket roller coaster/indy style ride with the paparazzi chasing you to the world premiere of your big movie break(all narrated by Michael Eisner supposedly), to the budget friendly ride it became. I was one of the few lucky enough to have experienced Superstar limo when our mom took us to see the all new Disneyland resort in June 2001 we loved it rode over & over- to the joy of the cast members excited to have guests at all. It closed due to extreme unpopularity poor reception, like most of dca lol. We loved it though, the low grade animatronics, creepy puppets of Joan rivers & swifty la rue! Your agent
@@averyeml and nerpridesf, Oh I didn't know that! My family had the vip tour at Disney and while we were waiting in line for monsters inc, our tour guide told us that. Sorry for the incorrect info!
I think I would like to bring back Goofy's bounce house because I think younger me would love it. I also never wasn’t born around that time and I never been to Disneyland only Disney World.
I'm surprised you didn't mention for Big Thunder Mountain that the facades at the end were reused from the station of Journey Through Nature's Wonderland. Great video though!
I loved A Bug's Land! I thought it was absolutely adorable, so I'm happy there are pieces of the land in Avenger's Campus. The one that really made me happy was seeing the ride console for Flik's Flyers hidden in San Fransokyo!
Well i’m still pissed at the offendgers killing a bug’s land That was my strongest childhood memory, but now that something has destroyed it, i’m never gonna step foot in their because it’ll just make me sad
I was almost 11 when DCA opened, and my family and I were able to go to an annual pass preview a few days before it officially opened. Towards the end of the day, we got in line for Superstar Limo, we waited about an hour. I don't think I'll ever forget how weird I thought that ride was. From the strange filmed puppets to everything else on the ride.... It was not great 😂 I have a lot of fun memories of Disneyland throughout the years, but the 90's and 2000's definitely have a nostalgic feeling.
Personally, I would have liked to have more “Bugs Land” in DCA, for me that land represented all the underrated movies of the Disney family, Bugs Life is not such a popular movie, I did want an Avengers Campus but maybe a meet and greet with Flick or Atta, permanently in some spot of the park would have been much better.
I remember being at Disneyland in November 2011, and seeing them start to dismantle the towers on the Golden Gate Bridge. At that time, Sunshine Plaza was also being leveled and replaced by Buena Vista Street, so the park's main entrance was over by Soarin' Over California.
Ahhh memories. Them changing the Treehouse was what made me sad. And the Tikki Room. With Eago…not my favorite. And a bugs life. That show scared me half to death. I still have the glasses.
Dude its so funny. When i was younger i danced at WDW and a few times was Peter Pan 😂. I bet i could probably play Hiro too( maybe not now, ive had kids. But, youd be amazed what they can do with spandex, wigs and makeup ❤✨✨✨✨)
The rainbow caverns on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are not the only tribute to Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland. The town of Rainbow Ridge featured at the end of the ride was also the starting point of Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland.
TPM I JUST NOTICED THAT THERE IS A MINECRAFT GAME WHERE YOU GO TO MINECRAFT DISNEY AND YOU RIDE RIDES, GET AUTOGRAPHS, AND GET MERCH! YOU SHOULD PLAY IT AND RATE ALL THE RIDES! BTW ITS REALLY FUN. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was like 13 when goofy's bounce House opened it was so much fun to take my little brother in and I jumped to and nobody got hurt passed like a skinned knee it was fine or it wouldn't have been open for so long.😂 Nothing more than a Band-Aid, lol❤
Hey TMPvids! I have a request… do you think you can make a video about Fortnite x Disney? (Basically everything they said at D23 and the upcoming events together)
4:21 miss some Cali stiff like the train we saw at start of this spot. And not sure if around some say yes. The bread company which have the taste bread ever. And some tables which you see a start of spot too.
It’s always a good day when TPM makes a video

Only UA-cam channel where you can essentially go on a free virtual tour of a Disney Park at any time. The voice is perfect for this too. 👍😁
Document Disney?
@@jalapeno1119 Do they cover every park? Including the ones in other countries?

Goofy's bounce house was always one of my favorite parts of going to Disneyland growing up.
I love it when Disney pays tribute to what came before

The king's head and others were from a parade called partygras that they used to do in Disneyland and why they still decorate New Orleans Square
I love TPMvids who else loves him

I love Sundays because it’s TPM day
Hello tpmvids
The Bugs Life Land was my childhood. I didn’t know that it was changed until this video
I love the rebooted Toontown it still has the charm from 1992😆
I remember being at Disneyland in November 2011, and seeing them start to dismantle the towers on the Golden Gate Bridge. At that time, Sunshine Plaza was also being leveled and replaced by Buena Vista Street, so the park's main entrance was over by Soarin' Over California.
TPM what hidden detail in Disneyland is your favorite?
Yes sir
I'd bring back Goofy's bounce house in his playhouse and DEFINITELY Tarzan's treehouse with his friends and Jane
Dude I’ve been watching you my whole life omg I’ve been watching since 4 and I’m ten years old like your channel
I like to bring back is bugs land
Yeah a bugs land was my childhood, and to see it get destroyed by something modern like marvel has me angry
First of all 😂I love 😂 I love you so

Hey TPMvids, does the bridge in California Adventure still replicate an earthquake?
Yea I still felt it the last time I was at the park in May!

In the abandoned adventure land caves, at one point did they have a bear snoring sound effect? I swear I remember that as a kid lol
I think that was a part of now defunct Splash Mountain as a nod to the caves. So much defunct on defunct
Hey TMPvids! I have a request… do you think you can make a video about Fortnite x Disney? (Basically everything they said at D23 and the upcoming events together)
Can you make a Disney Paris vid
I miss it’s tough to be a bug. it was mine and my wife’s favorite park show and getaway when it was getting hot outside.
The burger king head and the other things that are shown just before you enter New Orleans Square is a tribute to the leftover parade
i rember bugs land an going on the Incredibles coaster and seeing the inside out ride being built
I like it better when the had the broken down / rock smashed Big Thunder train on the island.
I don’t care if Goofy’s bounce house may not have been safe, I would have had a blast in there as a kid!
