Another fun fact: Animal Kingdom had a boat ride that took you around the park in 1998 but closed down a year later but the attraction had traces of each area of the park. When you walk across the Pandora bridge you can see a dragon sculpture, and on the brown Pandora bridge towards festival of the Lion king. You’ll see random rocks along the bridge but that used to be a tunnel that shot out fire.
Additionally, you can still ride on the boats that used to go around Animal Kingdom. Two of the boats run on the Seven Seas Lagoon during busy days at Magic Kingdom.
I do remember that boat ride. I got to ride it in 1999 when it was the Radio Disney River Cruise, featuring the voices of Just Plain Mark and Zippy being played over the radio from their broadcast booth on top of the Tree of Life.
Tiffins sounds really cool. The idea of a table service restaurant with decorations themed to the history and development of the park it's in is something I'd love to see in EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as well.
I took my first trip to Disney World recently and while I enjoyed the other parks, I absolutely fell in love with Animal Kingdom. If I lived nearby I would be there every day. The way the animals on the safari look like they don’t have any barriers is incredible. I was amazed at every turn by the design of that park and all of the intricate details in every land. And Dinosaur was my favorite ride in all of WDW so I’m sad to see that go. Glad I got to experience it.
I’m going to Animal Kingdom in a few days and I’m so excited to look for all these little secrets. I’m starting art school soon and one of the professors suggested to look for as much inspiration as possible, whether it be on trips, media, etc., so I’m definitely going to be looking around and observing as much as I can
It's not 100% true to say no animal has ever escaped. They have never harmed anyone, but they do escape. The cheetahs on safari used to escape all the time, but they never left that area of the ride. Also the Gibbons and Howler Monkeys have escaped multiple times, but again they just sit and wait for a keeper to come pick them up.
I have come back to watching your videos after like three years and I have been very happy about all the new content! And I have realised that I can say your intro off the top of my head any day!😊
I immediately stopped in my tracks on the way to it’s tough to be a bug when I saw a carving of my favorite dinosaur, the ankylosaurus!! It’s so beautiful and the details are so intricate. I wish I got more pictures but the line kept moving
The tree of Life is one of my favorite things about Animal Kingdom. I could spend hours just looking at the carvings. They are truly works of art. Not so much my family, but animals are my thing.
This is my favorite Disney UA-cam channel, and I always binge watch the videos (wether I’ve seen them or not 😅) right before a Disney trip so I really get into the Disney spirits, because who isn’t 24/7? It adds to the experience, for sure! I’m going in a few weeks, I’m very excited and this just hypes me up so much more! 😁❤️
I got the opportunity to see DeVine during my trip last year. We were on our way out of Animal Kingdom halfway through the day (we did 2 half day visits to the park during our trip and were able to cover a lot of ground that way), and saw her out and about. Since we saw her right as we were leaving, I of course had to take pictures.
This is one of my favorite UA-cam channels because I was just at Disney a few days ago and I saw so many breakdowns but my mom and I have her phone on her but I’m so glad that I got to
Jo Rodi has done a bunch of videos talking about how they designed various parts of Animal Kingdom. One of which was Expedition Everest. They actually went to Katmandu and some of the decor in the room which holds the waiting line for Everest is authentic items they brought back.
Pretty sure most people know the reason Beastly Kingdom wasn't made not because of "Budget Constraints". But rather, it's competition having that concept built in the form of Universal Studios Island's of Adventure's Mythical Continent. Plus we also all know this park was built because Money Grabbing Eisener took one look at Busch Gardens and said to himself, "Hey we can do better than that!"
@8:40 I remember on one safari ride, we were sitting up front and the there was a baby rhino to the right of the Pride rock. The driver said to us yeah, we got a new male lion in, we're not sure how far he can jump yet.
My dad used to work at the Saint Louis zoo and he told me the practice drill for if an animal escaped it’s habitat. Here’s how it goes. (It’s a long explanation so hang on tight) They would have one person pretend to be the animal and wear a cardboard sign that read “I am the *name of animal* and walk around on all fours while the other workers either pretend to get guests into the bathrooms or pretend to capture the animal. Then, they bring the pretend animal back to a certain section and they get the other employees out of the bathrooms. I remember my dad telling me about how his friend was pretending to be a hyena and it was so funny to hear about. But, I still think it’s amazing how you meantioned how the bathrooms are used for the possibility of an animal escaping. Keep up the amazing work.
I like that all the picture in the Maharajah Trek are of various royal couples. I always wondered who the people are and there is nothing telling you who they are. It is an interesting detail. This is one of my favorite things at AK (I love Tigers) so it is nice to know more about it.
7:11 continuing this, while your on the railroad heading to/or from rafikis planet watch, on the back of a building, you can see an off-brand Donald Duck!
Off topic but will you ever do a video on Disney a cruise ships? I just think it’ll be interesting if you ever have a thought about it! You don’t need to. Love your videos!
The real hidden gem to Animal Kingdom is Conservation Station over at Rafiki's Planet Watch. Look past the drawing lessons and you might just catch live vets tending to an animal.
Love to hear other fans’ thoughts about this show. However you present the video I’ll watch! Doctor Who is after all a show about changing and evolving.
By the time the Country Bear Musical Jamboree is opened to the public at the Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World in Florida, can you release a video of the attraction on the TPM Spotlight series?
Good Day TPMvids, I am not sure if you have already covered the subject but I have a question. Recently, I have noticed that all the boats on the Pirates of the Caribbean have most of their own unique names labeled on them. Do you happen to know if there is a special meaning to the names of all of the pirate boats on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Anaheim Disneyland?
I kinda hope with the way the concept art looks, and that it's taking place where "It's Tough to Be a Bug" is, the new Zootopia 4D show has a plot where we're insects, being integrated officially into Zootopia, and help Judy & Nick stop some type of crime going on
Animal kingdom could totaly do a little scavanger hunt for the kids with the tree of life. Give them a check list to write down/find ALL the animals they can on the tree. If you can name a certain amount you can get a free button If you can find and name them all then, uhhh a fancy simple coloring book?
2:07 bro how did I not see her my dad and brothers took off to mission Mount Everest but me and my mom took like 10 minutes to walk away and then we had to go back to get my moms friend and her family and still didn’t see her we got there like when it opened

I'm getting so hyped to see cool secrets.
Yeah! Right? Animal Kingdom is a national wonderland with secrets.
We were robbed with mythic kingdom though

Math or reading
PLORY WHY ARE YOU HERE YOURE SUPPOSED TO BE TEACHING AGENT X
I loved this vid I was watching it while waiting in queue for the river rapids ride
lol what!
Spending that much money to go to that place, just to do what you can do at home...stare at your phone.
Tiffins sounds really cool. The idea of a table service restaurant with decorations themed to the history and development of the park it's in is something I'd love to see in EPCOT and Hollywood Studios as well.
They should totally do a Hollywood Studios restaurant themed to past Hollywood Stufios. I loved old Studios and I think that it would be so cool.
Backlot is kinda themed to old Hollywood Studios but it just isn’t detailed enough and isn’t themed to MGM.
The food at Tiffins is AMAZING! It is absolutely beautiful inside, too! Yak and Yeti is too.
I love starting my week off with a new TPM Vids video!!
Maybe one day, they would finally bring Beastly Kingdom to life as a future expansion.
Is that a dragon in the sky?
It's a lovely idea but sadly they probably won't
Nice vid TPM love your channel

👇🏻like if you respect TPM’s privacy and do not think he should do a face reveal if he doesn’t want to.

Only if its as scary. The whole appeal of Tough to be a Bug is seeing people's reaction to the show.
Perfect timing for my upcoming video. Thank you!
The tree of Life is one of my favorite things about Animal Kingdom. I could spend hours just looking at the carvings. They are truly works of art.
Not so much my family, but animals are my thing.

I love when this guy post one of my favorite entertainment influencers. However, I have never been to Disney. These videos still bring the magic!
6:08 the off brand mickey reminds me of a park that walt was envooved in having a hidden picture of mickey struggling to stay afloat in water.
I have no idea why they chose the Disney tribute to depict Mickey distressed
Man TPMvids just some of his vids touch my heart
I like the tree one with all the animals on it. It’s my favorite park and I never noticed when I’ve gone until now
Officially spending all my time looking for these and more next time I go 🔥
My favorite was the hidden Mickey because I love finding them all over Disney world
does anyone else feel like the craziest thing about the tree of life is that the longer you look at it the more animals you’ll begin to see
The woman on stilts always makes me think of the Kingdom Keepers books ❤
❤❤❤love these vids xx
Love your content!
Divine is very unique! You rarely ever seen stilt talents like that!
DCA had the best line for this show theme wise. They had a real tree that looked just like the tree that was above the ant hill in the movie

Oh my gosh, the lock on the animal Kingdom bathroom is a smiley face. I never noticed that before.😮😃

The special David Greybeard sculpture in the tree of life is my favorite
I hope some day I will come back to Animal Kingdom it's been almost 10 years since I went last. Great video! 👍

you say hidden gem for It's Tough To Be A Bug... nah... it's my worst nightmare. That attraction traumatizes me.
Still would’ve preferred Beastly Kingdom over Pandora.
It’s Tough Being a Bug is not only underrated, but it’s also outdated since 1998.
People miss details in the parks all the time. They’re too obsessed with only rides and miss everything else.
You should totally do a video of the new land coming up in tokyo disneyland!
Did anyone else catch the Easter egg at 3:45? It totally blew my mind!
I wonder where are you getting this information
thanks for the infomation
When Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened in 1998, there was a stage show themed to The Jungle Book.
Hey TPM vids when are you going to do another Universal Studios video??? 😢
