The accordion player is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.
That is sooooo witty! Wish I'd thought of it..
Best comment EVER
the accordion player they all are special i love them and im from Europa Slovenija
Very philosophical ... nice
Is he a wizard that multiclassed as a bard?
These dudes make me want to live in Finland, and the boat entrance of the accordion player is genius!!
I love the video where he shows up on a riding lawn mower. Classic

Only non-American band I've ever seen that makes American classic songs remastered as good or better than the original! Thumbs up guys love it!
Hey man, if you like this, i love it. You must also like the Dead South another non American band.
ok... you both just blew my mind... I had no idea these two bands were not American bands... Steve Seagulls certainly nailed the look of inbreed hill billies.
@@jimburgess7397 I like their song "Gunslingers Glory" the most. Its actually a balled.
@@jimburgess7397 love them! Saw them at the Filmore in San Francisco, killer live show!

Hey I just turned 65.
Musicians are magical to me. The fact that people can get together and pull off something in unison like that with synchronized sound is amazing.
They are very tight. It’s my guess the percussionist and lead singer are brothers… They resemble each other a little bit but their harmony and intonation is amazing. All of these guys are so good!
The fact that these guys are a bunch of freaking hill jacks is incredible. Who would have ever imagined?!
Agreed. They make it look so easy too, but the level of skill and practice required to pull this off so effortlessly is immense!
they are all highly skilled musicians...don't be fooled 😊, they've all been playing their whole lives
It's actually pretty easy. Making it sound cool is the hard part
How can anyone who truly loves music give this a thumbs down, were they expecting it to sound like Metallica? I thought it was great adaptation....nice job boys!
it's 33'000 thumbs up and only 500 down: they really don't matter!
most are just some pretentious fools that dislike the accordeon guys hat
👍

Agreed
Saw them in concert last night in Phoenix. What a great band and great, friendly people. Highly recommend. We all agreed one of the best live concerts we've seen in years.
I am a Metallica fan and until listening to this cover I thought no one can play this song better. But I was surprised. These guys make a great cover that sound like a new song.
this can make you swet a little, from the eye.
Chris Stapleton
Such a tasteful arrangement, nobody is trying to be center stage, very minimalistic and thoughtful. You all work perfectly together for a greater cause!
And what cause is that if I may ask????
@@swamifakkananda4043 the cause of hillbillies ofcourse..!
@@Lasse3 oh how silly. The cause is hillybilly.😁😁😁😇😇😇
@@Lasse3 You do know they are from Finland ?
@@swamifakkananda4043 I saw nothing wrong with the comment. If you have nothing meaningful to say, do not. Instead, divert your thinking to good things in life, such as not being bitter.
I had concerns of that boat floating away, but nothing else matters.
The boat is still there at 4:49 but well spotted!
Awesome!!
😎
Why worry about the boat when you can easily swim it back if needed :D
After many years of hard and bloody searching, he finally arrived at the shores of the sacred lake, shrouded in mist , quiet except for ghostly whispers of the water birds.
Vaguely, oh so vaguely came a darker shade of mist which revealed itself gradually as the prow of a white boat. Now at last was the moment when he would meet the King of Avalon, noble Arthur Pendragon.
At exactly the same moment his heart filled with squirely devotion to his liege and master, deft fingers began to bring forth the voice of the accordion....
yeah
Lol
I was 15 when Metallica first released this. I never thought I would hear the song again with such new wonder. Thanks UA-cam algorythm.
I was 15 when Maryann Faithful first released this.
These guys are from Finland play bluegrass heavy metal covers. They are serious musicians..they currently have 4 cds out all of them.amazing
I’ve watched a bunch of their videos. They’re absolutely unreal!

This prooves good music doesn't matter what instruments but the heart of the artists
Complex simplicity at it's finest, these guys are brilliant.
These guys are awesome.
Kenneth Geiger II the music they cover is awsome. u cn get 3 other ppl get the sheet music get a banjo n learn it nt hard, creating the song is the talent nt playing it
Tobias Da Costa no, they are awesome. Playing requires no talent? You're nuts.
+Tobias Da Costa good point!
hobman Agreed. They pretty much added their own twist to the song and takes talent.
Kenneth Geiger II Yes, they rock. All the way. Like them, a lot.
As I've said in other videos, we saw these boys in October, in Brighton Colorado. One of the best shows we've been to in the the last few years. The boys are super nice, great music, just an awesome show. Thank you Seagulls.
Absolutely love you guys! The accordion player always arrives when he means to😂😂😂
I truly don’t know what’s more amazing, this group of guys, or the fact that they can do this without laughing. Awesome job guys!!
There are many Bands I would not cross the road to see. These guys I would cross countries to see. Totally amazing.

So glad I found this while going down the rabbit hole of UA-cam. Awesome.
Just love how the accordion player always shows up on something, here a boat and in the thunderstruck cover it’s on a ride on mower, hilarious yet also so talented 😂🤘
Accordions originated in Finland 😂🤣☠️
It's a great bit.
I love it too ...
I love his assortment of head-gear. 😆👍
In the trooper he has no vehicle, he just kicks the door down and enters the stage
It's like the band keeps trying to sneak off and play but here comes Earl with danged accordion.

Just stumbled across this video and boy oh boy!! What a masterpiece!! I love the music, love vocals, style and sense of humor. Geezer arriving on the boat to play his section in time!!! Choreography, costumes , scenery all perfect!! Choice of the song also right in my alley. But the biggest BRAVOS as this was live by the lake and bonfire. Great music. I am in AWE.
RESPECT
Bartosz Czechowicz costumes? They are just in their usual clothes.
I can see you are American by your spelling of humour, yet you use the word "Geezer" which I hadn't realised had crossed the Atlantic.
The instrumental break beginning at 4:05 just takes the song into a whole new level!
Loved this cover!
I just live them. could listen all day!!!
Superbe reprise !!!!
Magnifique! génial ! fantastique!
Beautiful, simply beautiful arrangements over any, already great, songs you play together. You guys are something else! Thanks!
My son just showed me this band for the first time ... these gentlemen are truly gifted ... I can honestly say I've never heard any of those instruments played quite that way ... I have to say I'm glad I finally have I really dig it ... each one of them are seem to be truly awesome musicians playing multiple instruments.... I'm not sure how big they are from wherever it is they are from ... most bands can't play the way these guys do ... no mikes , no amps , very best to them ... if ever in the states hopfuly they make a stop somewhere near N.Y. state ... upstate .... awesome .....

Their every performance is a gift to our senses. Their understanding and rendering of music, history and cultures is profound, spiritual, surreal, mesmerizing, and outstanding, I feel lucky to be alive when they are. My 1yo absolutely loves them, she was just in awe of them then started dancing, don't ever stop ya'll
That boat guy come at the right time.
+Danial Khalil Check their other videos, and his arrivals :)
Yep, all of their videos has that guy showing up just at the right moment and joining in. There's this one with him arriving on the rowboat, another one has him riding up on a lawnmower (Thunderstruck), another one has him suddenly busting through the wall of a shack they are playing right next to. It is all very cool. These guys are spectacular in their talent. I play 5-string banjo myself and their banjo player is probably the best I've ever seen. The fact that he can play with a guitar pick as well as the usual T-I-M banjo picks speaks volumes as to his stellar talent. I could listen to these guys all day long.
+Danial Khalil He had to
+Danial Khalil you seem to appreciate gentlemen arriving at the right time
+Lone Wolf Sir, I see what you did there
These guys are criminally underrated!
The Giant is the best. He plays anything he wants. Would not be the same without him. I love you tall man.
These guys are now on my permanent UA-cam music playlist!
Legend has it that they are still playing on that island because they forgot to tie their boat off.
Well, well.

The guy coming up in the boat was an awesome scene. loved it.
The accordian solo in this cover is honestly one of my favorite crescendos ..ever
I would have never thought about combining these instruments for a Metallica song but it works beautifully
Out of all the cool shit I've seen in this world, like being at and watching drag races, watching an eagle swoop down and grab a fish out of a lake, the first snowfall of each year, finding the last beer in the fridge during a party, and seeing the summit of a mountain I was climbing. This is by far the coolest!.
This is a masterpiece.

Bone chills and tears, that's all I can say. Keep up great work lads, you never disappoint. Love the accordion solo, used to play it when I was seven or eight years old... should have never stopped.
Best part of their videos: the music.
Second best part: the gimmick of the one dude always showing up late.
Late? Nah. Just in time.
As long as he shows up on time, then Nothing Else Matters......wait.....

For what its worth - here is his message from last summer:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ladies and gentlemen, A word from Pukki:
It's time to break the news. Some of you know already, most probably don't. I'm quitting touring professionally, which means I have to leave my buddies and let a new guy take it from here. No drama, no burnt bridges. It was a tough decision to make but also necessary; I've got to quit this level of touring to be able to keep playing.
It was a good run and I am going to sorely miss this sooner or later. But it is what it is, time and place for everything and all that.
For now, huge thanks to all of you who came to our shows and watched our stuff online during these past few years! Thank you for making my boyhood dream come true.
Thank you, all the new friends I made!
Thank you, all the hard working professionals that make it possible for us to do our jobs, but who stay in the shadows. I met a lot of you along the way.
Most importantly: thank you, rest of Steve 'n' Seagulls, bandmates who are much more than that. Everything I tried to write here just seemed too lame and distant, and we do come from a culture that tends not to lavish words. I know you know.
As my final post I'd like to present this compilation of totally random photos, along with a special treat as the soundtrack (recorded and mixed by Simo Orpana).
Näkemiin!
Eneri Giilaan thank you so much, my brother. I just knew there was something special about him, even beyond his playing. He obviously didn’t make his decision, lightly. Years ago, I faced a similar quandary and walked away from the best band-family a guy could ask for. Part of me remained behind and later died with the keyboard player - my best friend. That was big of you to dig that up for me. Peace to you, Eneri. 🙏
This is indeed happy and upbeat it’s much more than that. Thank you for creating it
I simply love them!
