This video showcases the final boss fight (Alexia Ashford) as well as the epic fight between Chris Redfield and Albert Wesker in Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for PS4.
NOTE: RECVX does not run at 60fps. So as a test, I converted the footage in my editing software to run at 60fps to see how it would look. Though there is some ghosting effects, the results are surprising to see game running at 60fps.

DESCRIPTION:
Resident Evil: Code Veronica, is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom and originally released for the Dreamcast in 2000. The game was intended to be the true sequel to Resident Evil 2, and is still referred to as such by its creators. The title of "Resident Evil 3" was given to what was originally a spin-off game being developed in tandem for the PlayStation. Because the Dreamcast had a much smaller user base than PlayStation platforms, Capcom knew the series could not survive on the platform. This led to bringing an extended cut, titled Code: Veronica X, to the PlayStation 2 Which feature 10 minutes of new cutscenes and graphic enhancements. RECVX was re-released for the PlayStation 4 in May 2017 as a PS2 Classic.
STORY:
Taking place 3 months after Resident Evil 3, the story follows Claire Redfield and her brother Chris Redfield in their efforts to survive a viral outbreak at both a remote prison island in the Southern Ocean and a research facility in Antarctica.

9:20 Yeah, Chris don't use your guns or weapons on the superhuman power up Wesker. You can definitely take him on hand to hand combat. It's not like you didn't grab any guns, bullets or knives. That you know could make this easier. Cause that'll be a joke wouldn't it? Lol.

"The boy was dead, but the girl wasn't. And now the young man was trying to destroy Alexia's home, and it wasn't a game or an experiment or some - thing to observe, he had to die, in pain and misery. How had he dared to consider such a thing? He should be on his knees in front of her, a worthless supplicant for her to do with as she wished, how dare he? Alexia saw the siblings walking away from their treacherous deed, felt them wishing to leave as the auto - mated sequence began, lights and sounds flashing, sys - tems shutting down throughout the terminal. Their perfidy was useless, of course. They were startled, as if they'd expected to succeed. She slid out from inside her organic carrier, unfolding herself, turning to look into their dull eyes, their winc - ing sheep's faces. She watched them watch her, curious in spite of her anger. They argued in front of her, he insisting that he would "handle" things, that the girl should flee. The girl ac-cepted, but reluctantly, insisting in turn that he should survive. Following that ludicrous statement, the girl turned and ran for the elevator. Alexia moved to intercept, raising her hand to smite the girl...... and a perforation opened in her flesh, distracting her. A bullet had entered her body. She turned and smiled at him, at the gun in his hand, and reached into herself, pulling the bullet out and tossing it toward him. As gratifying as his expression was, the girl was gone by the time she turned back. It was time to expand her boundaries, Alexia decided. To show him what she was, what she could do... and to put the fear of God into him, because as she closed her eyes, imagining, wishing, she stopped being Alexia Ashford and became Wrath, divine and merciless."

Alexia's face before she gets exploded scares me so bad I just hate it. This game is still the most scary to me graphics wise aside from the re1 cg cutscenes

Right before the first fight I dropped almost all my gear into the box because I figured I was gonna switch over to Claire, so I didn't want to keep all the good weapons on Chris in case I needed them later. I went into that fight with only a pistol with 13 bullets and a knife. It was not fun finding out that Alexia can one shot you if she gets close enough.
Worst of all my dumbass kept forgetting to at least bring some bullets with me every retry so it took me about an hour to finish this section.
At least this was the first (and so far only) time I managed to kill a RE boss with a knife so that is something at least.

Wesker with progenitor, t virus, g virus, t Veronica virus, and Las plagas is stronger than Alexia. Any virus he takes he gets stronger and remained the same form because of having a anti body.

I need the Code Veronica Remake Alexia Ashford is my favorite villain next to the classic old Shaddler. Alexia's philosophy may be sick, but it seems very accurate in these times: The world is a gigantic anthill, look at all these ants every day they are fighting among themselves to the point of devouring each other to eat a few crumbs. (I do the voice of the original Alexia that she had in the English dubbing, and I am a man I was born with the gift of changing the register of my voice at will.) It is true, if we look closely, all teaching has symbolic connotations and teaches us that each ant In the world they look for their food, but among them there is always an individual who is not satisfied with such a small ration. That is why he must devour the rest that disagrees to keep his portions plus his own. I made up some lines for the character on my own that work when we talk about her. Even Wesker was afraid of Alexia and was forced to escape knowing that her life was in danger. (Remember that Wesker can only control the experimental virus through shots from time to time, he is forced to inject himself to keep it under control.) As far as a long fight with Alexia would play against him, Albert Wesker is smart, he knew it and that's why withdraws.

this videos title is not true lol, they are probably running it on the dolphin emulator or another emulator where you can set the framerate. Tried this on my Ps5 as well and I remember very clearly that it was the same exact thing when I had a ps4 pro, motion blurred 30 fps and reduced aspect ratio.

This game has toooooooo much crap going on, way too much
I forced myself to beat this game because I paid for it. This was the most miserable slog of a game that I've ever played. I hate almost everything about it and never wanna play it again. I used to want a remake of this game before I actually played it. Now that I've beaten it I hope Capcom forgets about it entirely. For a remake of this to be good you would have to completely cut out Steve and Alfred. The backtracking in this game is at an absurd level, some puzzles don't make any kind of logical sense, and there are sections of the game where it forces you to take damage. Now that I've beaten I know I could beat it much easier a second time around, but why bother? I don't like the story, the gameplay, the backtracking, the characters. Can anyone tell me why this Resi title has a cult following other than nostalgia? This game blows on every single level.

@@jonathangarza2942 i agree that the game is most of the time goofy and cheesy but i don't consider it a flaw, instead i see it as part of its identity and what makes this game unique. I don't know but everytime i play it there is just a special charm about it, the graphics just takes me back to a time where things used to be simpler, you didn't knew about the future, everything was kinda booming and i onlycared about silly things and to have my fill of fun. The problem comes when every person think everything that is ever done must be a masterpiece, this game certainly wasn't but it is a gem from the series and a memory from the good old days.
@@Swordyplayrebel I was considering finding a way to play it, especially because I genuinely just love Alexia Ashford as a character. The original comment kinda discouraged me but I’m glad you said something. Totally agree a game doesn’t need to be a masterpiece to be a gem.
@@priincessjuniie So i take it you've watched the game but never played it yourself? Since you already know Alexia, i also like her as a villain, i think she is my second favourite next to wesker, she is supposed to mirror Claire's relationship with Chris but with Alfred since they are orphans too, yet all in a more twisted and evil way of course. That is why i didn't like her depiction in darkside chronicles, they totally erased the bond she shared with Alfred, somewhat explaining why she could manipulate him through the virus and genes, making him change personality and voice seemingly for no particular reason wich the game doesn't explain aside from these little details, yet in DC the devs turned her into just an evil princess peach and she did Alfred just as another expendable grunt wich is the opposite of what we saw in CV. Evil can love too, i think that was the charm of it in the original game. Anyway i hope you have a good time playing it, sorry if i spoiled anything though, didn't wanted to waste the chance to elaborate on my personal thoughs of the game.
