@@nadashaker6037 I believe that Israel is currently committing genocide in Gaza, unforgivably. But Hamas, all militant groups, all those Muslims who call for jihad, who threaten to convert all infidels, are doing immense harm to the Palestinians. I understand anger, powerlessness, despair, after everything that happened in Iraq, Libya, Syria... I live in a country where 90% are Christians and people are afraid of that aggressive, militant Islam. Before, people from Libya, Egypt, and Syria used to come to study here. Some stayed, some returned to their countries. They were well received. Today, people are afraid of migrants. The above comment about peaceful coexistence seems impossible and idealistic and should actually be normal in the 21st century.

@@andrewmiller4885 its a long video, and it would take a lot of references which you wouldnt have time to go through. it cherry picks quotes to fit a narrative that is false and misleadig at its root, things like it was sparsely populated and mostly barren. to make it sound as though european jews arrived in an empty space and made it viable, then the arabs got jealous. what actually happened was a peaceful land where arabs jews and christians lived peacefully, was targeted by a movement to rebuild the state of israel. which obviously sounds ok, but the movement always intended to take all the land, so when land owners far away sold the land from under the farmers whod lived there for hundreds of years, the ottomans ruled for 600 years i think? anyway, under ottoman rule there was no name for a nation, it did however contain people, think the ottomans called it syria, the point is, the name is not important, it was a place, people lived in that place, a small number by modern standards but a very normal number by the standards of the time. so when foreign jews started arriving and were backed by foreign jewish money, they always had a plan to make a jewish state. the colonial mentality of the time makes this a bit less crazy than it seems to our modern ears, nations were being declared all over the middle east, so european jews thought it was just a matter of numbers and they could declare a state. the arabs and even the jews who lived there did not like the idea of foreigners coming and creating a new state, who would? but, the arabs were weak both as a social organisation and militarily. muslims remained the majority of the population even with zionist movement getting more popular, not wildly popular, jews from other arab nations werent interested in moving to israel, the middle east did not suffer from antisemitism, really only the west and russia who suffered from that. zionists began meeting with other states to try and get jews to move to israel. a lot came from europe but not so much from neighbouring countries. zionists made efforts to persuade countries to make life more difficult for jews so they would come to palestine and add to their numbers, i've even heard that zionists bombed a synagogue in iraq to scare jews into leaving. but thats the picture i want to paint, zionism backed by western money always intending to take all of palestine, in fact british documents show britain was promising zionists all of palestine and some of jordan to the zionists in secret, while at the same time pretending to palestinians there would be one non jewish state of palestine. as the truth became clear anger grew among the arabs. britain didnt create an arab state, and the zionists who already had militias again backed by western jews money, became more open about claiming the land as their own less than 30 years after zionism started. they were still completely outnumbered but much better armed, made up of russian and european jews who fought in wars before arriving there. can i recommend two jewish men who have spoken out against zionism, they can give you a much bigger view than i can here. ilan pappe and gabor mate.

The British carved up Palestine by giving 80% of its UN mandate to Jordan (Transjordan at the time) in 1921. The people living there at the time were, by definition, Palestinians. It didn't include the holy sites of Jerusalem etc but it was a fair-sized homeland. Interesting that when five Arab countries invaded Israel and Palestine in 1948, Jordan avoided Jewish land, kept to its treaty with Israel and seized only the West Bank which it annexed (East Jerusalem too but that was international territory so did not break the treaty). Egypt occupied, but did not annex, the Gaza Strip. So Arab countries controlled the West Bank and the Gaza Strip for the next 20 years and did nothing to solve the Palestinian crisis. Go figure.

The rest got nothing. The fact Israel could concentrate on only (!) four enemies might have made the difference.

Actually, Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria is enshrined into international law.
The notion that there is any moral equivalence between Jews building homes in their homeland that they won back in a defensive war (after it was illegally occupied by Jordan) and brutal terrorists illegally occupying land that was never given to them, is reprehensible.
But first, a brief history lesson …
The only binding resolution of international law, a resolution which has never been countermanded to this very day, is the July 1922 Mandate for Palestine.
Adopted by the League of Nations, that resolution recognized the “historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country.”
It called for the creation of a Jewish national homeland anywhere west of the Jordan River.
Once the League of Nations was disbanded and the United Nations formed in its stead, the international community agreed to maintain all agreements and not “alter in any manner the rights whatsoever of any states or any peoples or the terms of existing international instruments to which Members of the United Nations may respectively be parties.” [Article 80, UN Charter, emphasis added]
This provision wasn’t inserted by accident; it was known as “the Jewish People’s clause” at the time it was adopted in 1945 in order to enshrine the 1922 Mandate into international law.
The Mandate for Palestine adopted by the League of Nations was the last legally binding document delineating regional borders.
In Article 5 of the Mandate it explicitly states “The Mandatory shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of the Government of any foreign Power.”
The Palestine Mandate (and Iraq) was given to Britain to serve as a temporary trustee based on the resolution between the four principle Allied Powers in April 1920 at the San Remo Conference in Italy, which was signed by 51 nations.
It was at that conference where the world powers adopted the 1917 Balfour Declaration (which originally allocated the eastern part of the Mandate for a Jewish state as well) creating a Jewish state.
This same conference that created the Jewish state west of the Jordan River also created Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Iraq as Arab states.
The legality of the 1922 Mandate was adopted that same year by the U.S. Congress in H.J. Res. 360 and signed by President Warren Harding.
The newly created Arab country of Jordan attacked Israel in 1948 seeking to annihilate its inhabitants and illegally occupied Judea and Samaria until 1967.
That year, Israel won back the territory originally allocated for a Jewish State as part of the 1922 League of Nations agreement.
There is no such thing as “’pre-67 borders.” They were merely 1949 armistice lines between Israel and neighboring countries after they launched an illegal war of extermination.
It has nothing to do with the notion of a unique Arab “Palestinian” entity west of the Jordan River.
There was never any internationally recognized legal sovereign occupying Judea and Samaria from the time the British Empire fell until 1967.
Jordan’s occupation of the area west of the Jordan River was never recognized.
To the extent there is an Arab Palestinian state it is the modern state of Jordan, which already sucked up 77% of the original Mandate of Palestine allocated for a Jewish State under the first plan of the Balfour Declaration.

Keep dreaming. Nothing is enshrined into international law, when Israel itself doesn't recognize that same law. And they don't. This video is nothing but shameless propaganda going from one lie to another. The name Palestine was known yet to ancient historian Herodotus, centuries before the Romans formed a province with that name. The Philistines - Phoenicians weren't extinct by then, even the Canaanites were still around in Christ's time. They lived mostly along the coast while the Hebrews dwelled in the inland hills. Half of Jews were living in the diaspora by the time of Jesus and the rest could have continued living there even after wars and prohibitions. The Samarians hung on. But the Jews decided that life in Israel was too difficult (forget the milk and honey tale) whereas living off of others through trading and monopolizing certain trades was more lucrative. There was a constant non-Jewish native population in Palestine through history, this is attested to in travelogues to the Holy Land and biographies of native saints. They were not imported Greeks. For 19 centuries Jews stayed away save for small groups that never numbered more than 10 thousand. By 1800 there were a half million inhabitants in Palestine - Muslims and a large number of Christians. In fact the video hides that at some point in the 1800s there were more Christians in Jerusalem than Muslims with Jews far far fewer. Jews were not persecuted by the Romans for fictitious support of the poor. Only in Jerusalem were they the subject of Roman wrath for rebellion. In fact even then many writers wrote poorly of them for their dishonest transactions and exploitation of the poor. Palestinians didn't have a strong separate identity until modern times similarly to most Middle East groups since the Ottoman Empire suppressed such with Muslim identity being supreme. A Palestinian government with that name was formed yet in the 1940s but was disbanded by Jordan and Egypt. Jews started to return when farm machines appeared as a result of the industrial revolution in agriculture. It's a fat lie that most of the land had been sold to Jews by 1948 - it was less than 5 percent. The destruction of hundreds of Palestinian villages, mosques (many were turned into theaters or clubs), farms, is a testament to the enormous injustice Palestinians have suffered even though the Zionists had committed themselves in the Balfour Declaration to do nothing that would infringe on the rights of the Palestinians. The list of violations they have since committed is very lengthy. The lies promoted here can be debunked easily by doing some research even though Israeli propaganda and a Soros funded group have purged websites like Wikipedia.

The father of Zionism, Theodor Herzl, who fought for the establishment of a Jewish state, which included Argentina as an alternative, had a different vision from what has been happening until now, as he died before the state was being established. Please read the following excerpt from Wikipedia and imagine how he would have resolved the current conflict or avoided it in the first place:
In Altneuland, Herzl outlined his vision for a new Jewish state in the Land of Israel. He summed up his vision of an open society:
"It is founded on the ideas which are a common product of all civilized nations ... It would be immoral if we would exclude anyone, whatever his origin, his descent, or his religion, from participating in our achievements. For we stand on the shoulders of other civilized peoples ... What we own we owe to the preparatory work of other peoples. Therefore, we have to repay our debt. There is only one way to do it, the highest tolerance. Our motto must therefore be, now and ever: 'Man, you are my brother.'"[94]
"If you will it, it is no dream." a phrase from Herzl's book Old New Land, became a popular slogan of the Zionist movement-the striving for a Jewish National Home in Israel.[95]
In his novel, Herzl wrote about an electoral campaign in the new state. He directed his wrath against the nationalist party, which wished to make the Jews a privileged class in Israel. Herzl regarded that as a betrayal of Zion, for Zion was identical to him with humanitarianism and tolerance-and that this was true in politics as well as religion. Herzl wrote:
"Matters of faith were once and for all excluded from public influence ... Whether anyone sought religious devotion in the synagogue, in the church, in the mosque, in the art museum, or in a philharmonic concert, did not concern society. That was his [own] private affair."[94]
Altneuland was written both for Jews and non-Jews: Herzl wanted to win over non-Jewish opinion for Zionism.[96] When he was still thinking of Argentina as a possible venue for massive Jewish immigration, he wrote in his diary:
"When we occupy the land, we shall bring immediate benefits to the state that receives us. We must expropriate gently the private property on the estates assigned to us. We shall try to spirit the penniless population across the border by procuring employment for it in the transit countries, while denying it any employment in our country. The property owners will come over to our side. Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discretely and circumspectly ... It goes without saying that we shall respectfully tolerate persons of other faiths and protect their property, their honor, and their freedom with the harshest means of coercion. This is another area in which we shall set the entire world a wonderful example ... Should there be many such immovable owners in individual areas [who would not sell their property to us], we shall simply leave them there and develop our commerce in the direction of other areas which belong to us",[97]

There are many (intentional?) errors: "Philistine" is not a Greek name but a Semitic one. "Falas/h" means entrance/arrival/invasion and "Teen" refers to "land of" or "soil". The proper pronunciation is with a PH not a P, by the way. During Roman occupation, the southern Half of the country was called "Provincia Arabia" and was ruled by Arab Nabateans. Also, the northern part of the country, the Galilee was ruled by Arabs - Yattorians, among others. Basic history. After the failure of the Judean rebellion in 138 Arabs managed to take control of the Country for 2 centuries under the Tanuchi kingdom. The name "Filistine" was in use for centuries and was never forgotten. Many historical documents show that. Under the ottoman empire, for example, there WAS an administrative government jurisdiction called Jond Filistine. So on. All of this information is basic and well knows to every reader of scholarly sources. Both Hebrew and Arabic cultures are indispensable parts of the history of Palestine. Ethnocide is not the way to go.

I feel like if you're gonna start this story you have to start before the Roman Empire. The land was inhabited with Canaanites and Philistines. Both of them had 50% blood from Ancient Greece because of the conquest of Alexandria the great. So the people there were ancient Greeks mixing with ancient Egypt and with the people originally from Iran and Syria. The Canaanites were more semitic while the Philistines were more Greek. DNA tests in a recent study on Canaanite remains proved that modern day Jews and Arabs have the same DNA as Canaanites so both were descendent from the earliest people known there. This is before the Israelites united, left Egypt and conquered Canaan and Philistines and then built the first Temple of Solomon. After that Babylon conquered them, then Assyrians, and during this time the Jews were being exiled as people from Babylon and Syria came in, all people are mixing. Then the Persians come and bring back the Jews and mix up the gene pool same more. So the Palestinians are a mixture of all of these major world powers coming into the land. The Jews are the same.
