I'd forgotten just how insane this clip is. To drive at that speed in a road car that weighs that much on a rally stage is just incredible. And with a useless co-driver too.

The motor sound of this Bentley has been deeply stuck in my subsconcience since I first saw this video. Every 2 months or so I come back here because theres something itching in the back of my head..

for me, this is one of the most amazing things I have seen on TG.
I never liked the Continental GT before, but now, I love it!
In retrospect,I wish we could have had a post-race interview with Kris so that we could have gotten his impressions on whether or not he considered the Bentley a proper rallying car.
He’d probably say it was impressive for a big heavy land yacht which it is. Nobody who owns one of these cars would drive it on so much as gravel track in case it’d get a little dusty and yet here it is hauling ass on a bumpy, muddy narrow rally stage.
The most stunning and visceral stunt I've ever seen done with a Continental GT.
Now, that's a proper way to drive a Bentley.

Average rally speeds are about 70-80 mph...

Seemed slow compared to the Isle of Man stuff. But just a great vid overall, and they didn't come in last.
I wish they raced Bentleys, Skylines and Porsches in WRC. It would be awesome to have a supercar division.

shocktop Well a Bentley is better to crash in than say, a CRX. And before this clip (in episode) the Driver said his only concern about the Bentley was slowing down when required (so, just the weight issue)

If ever there was a time to use the 'F' word, you'd have to say ' this vid is fucking brilliant, had to watch it 3 times, hats off to everyone. OH, the camera work is probably academy award winning as well.
Very captivating the first time I saw this on TV. I appreciated the intensity and seriousness frrom the driver.
Definitely one of the best vids TG ever made. That drive is out of this world, Kris must have popped at least 5 cans of redbull before this run. Absolutely mind blowing performance.Not so for James though.

Wow... the Bentley looks so composed, majestic and dignified even roaring along a dirt road, flying and plowing through water. I am in awe before its majesticness.
This is why Top Gear was the best programme on TV ever in history. No other show touched it. My mum loved it and wouldn't miss an episode (even though sh'es not into cars and hates Jeremy Clarkson). Go figure. The three presenters were all so different yet were perfectly similar. RIP Top Gear =(

German ones like Drive It from DW TV are better,more informative about cars and their capability.Top Gear is more like fan fun show than realistic insight into car models.
