It is gorgeous. Muscular. Every angle appeals to me. I would love to own one. I believe I will one day. Not concerned about maintaining it. A suspension that allows a car of that weight to handle as it does should be expected to be expensive to repair. You get what you pay for. If low cost maintenance is a priority, then this masterpiece is the wrong choice. If performance, style, elegance and design are important then I think a pre-owned Continental GT cannot be beat for the price. Fantastic value. "Bang for the Buck" seems appropriate.
All the way back in 1990 Vauxhall made the Lotus Carlton. A normal saloon car that could comfortably seat 5 people and hit a top speed of 177mph! It could also hit 60mph in just under 5 seconds, 100mph in 11.5 sec, the quarter mile in 13.5 sec, and comfortably cruise at crazy speeds due to a super long 6th gear (making autobahn blasts comfortable) Shows just how insane the Lotus Carlton must have been at launch, true supercar performance (acceleration and top speed!) in a saloon form. Sorry for the fanboy comment, but that car STILL blows me away even after 30 years!
@@graemejones9707 they looked incredible back in the 90s. To my eyes even today it looks proper menacing, like a bodybuilding powerlifter in a good quality but tight Saville Row suit! Even that mad colour that looks black in most pics yet is a very, very deep green. Just an all-round brutal beast of a motor and, for a long time, the fastest saloon car in the world. A saloon that did at least 177mph (there was supposedly a limiter that was turned off by hitting the rev limiter in 5th gear that would then continue to 180-190mph!) yet also had room for a total of 5 adults to travel in comfort at that insane for the 90s top end! I have always been a fan and having seen a few in real life they look considerably better IRL.
Tom Ford was 27 here. It’s amazing though that he’s always looked like a 50 something band roadie for an 80’s cover band. Still like the guy though, just saying.

A real luxury car. I would choose the Bentley Coupe over a Mercedes S-Class Coupe any time because at Bentley you can customize almost everything in the interior.
Older model no doubt, but still stunning as ever. So did it have the V8 i wonder? As usual Tiff has missed the point...it's a GT tiff, or maybe you haven't learned to read yet. As you're a 4 year old pillock, i'll forgive you just this once! So who wants to tour at 190MPH? Nobody? thought so! Don't like the new taillights, still a beautiful car...i'll have the V8 in marrachino cherry, please.
It’s ok doing a test and taking it to the max,but normally you wouldn’t drive like that,we’ll you can’t on English roads ,but it’s a lovely looking car, beautiful really, would I buy one you’re dam right I would ,if I could afford one that is 👍😀
Surely this is a joke, the quality of the film looks like it's from about 5 years ago! look at the state of the inside, the sat nav looks like one I had in a 2006 S type jag!
This old test of a beautiful car ragged around a test track reminded me why I haven't bothered with Fifth Gear for years … it bears no relation to anything useful I might need to know about the car unless, maybe, I wanted to race it or just show off what a good driver I am on a track! … silly!
If you don’t understand how are car performing on the track might relate to its on road performance you really don’t deserve to watch any good car programmes.
@@seymourskinner2533 ... Just seen your pompous reply ... I thought I'd let you know I've spent a lifetime racing cars so I know exactly how things relate but I prefer my tv programmes something other than children's hour.

190mph in the rain with no safety gear or crash helmet Only Tiff lol
going 190+ mph around a bendy track in the wet... gosh Tiff's balls are legendary.
Stıll looks fresh. One of the best cars of modern era
Henry Discipline you probably drive a rolls, if this looks like a brick to you

Shocked me when jumped!!
Me too

In other words, s bit of a wanker
One of the most beautiful luxury cars you will ever see .
Bland jelly mould with Liberace on lighting detail.
The absolute best car ever made
I’ve seen 4 adults in great comfort in the GT, they were messing about.
bloody liar
where have you seen 4 dwarfs in a bentley?
I think it's a joke or he means the GT flying spur from the same era. Or indeed he is a bloody liar.
A brilliant review. Well thought out. Thanks for the video.
That Tiff lad. Wow, what a driver.
I just love this art piece right here.
Is it me or is that steering wheel a slightly modified version of what's in the Phaeton and the first gen Touareg?
Hussein Omobola probably, remember Bentley is part of the Volkswagen group so maybe did si to cut costs
phaeton has same engine at half the price
chris davies They share components but they’re not exactly the same.
where Vickie at? !
The 2007 onwards GT Speed is the ultimate version.
I do like the Speed wheels
The Speed side grills on the fascia are a bit odd, but pretty good version indeed
Is this a 2003 model as that's listed as the broadcast date? It still looks great!
thats because the design barely changed over the years, though the new facelift model is gorgeous.
2004 model
Absolutely fantastic GT. No not for everyone,
because we are all different. With different needs.
Thank you.
At 3:50 isn't that where Bond almost ran over Vesper Lynd before flipping and crashing the Aston Martin in Casino Royale??
That’s interesting because originally in the Novel Casino Royale Bond Drove a Bentley in that Scene.
What about the new GT and Bentayga for 2019/20 -- and while the W12 is my favourite, what about the hybrid versions as well.
Is it VGA..
That was nice! Needles is fkn crazy
Love that classic Conti, weirdly my most recent upload was a video on the Continental Gt too
It's a sport coupe sedan guys ; get with the program !

Don't worry Tiff, the target market of Premiership Footballers & their WAG's aren't interested in "Handling".
Nice!
That tie......what was he thinking?
Great driving in wet conditions
Hard to believe I'd be looking elsewhere ...
Big bang
you've won a weekend with purple aki
The best car!!
Hahaha . My 2002 Camry had 3 garage door openers in the mirror.
"Street music" 😅, what?
Okay I get it..... it's a throw back but what the fuck with that t shirt and a tie? When was that a thing?

A 115k Bentley and a 15k Volkswagen in 2020
I loved this model and dreamt about owning one until I drove it. It was very average I wasn't impressed.
