@@nrs_jacker9533 i have not done it myself, but as far as i know there is some kind of air restrictor in the intake system … I would look in some Civic specific forums for detailed info!
@@SpeedIng80 Thanks anways,i know what i read about it and watch on youtube,Yes on air restrictor i need to change only Poetry cost me only 6$ and than i will have from 75 HP to 90Hp ,i got on my Ej9 Magnaflow M6 original i pay for 1500$
Hi, does the removal of the air restrictor have any drawbacks and also in a comment down below i see u said u changed it to the normal gasket of a 1.4iS, if the car is a 1.4iS anyways will the removal of the air restrictor make a difference? Sorry for the dumb question, I'm just not very aware.
Well I guess with a little more power, the drawback is that the car burns a little bit more fuel, but in Summer I still manage to get 5L/100km;) No the car is a 1.4i, which has exactly the same engine as a 1.4iS, except for that air restrictor.
@@danielbiren4646 I think the ECUs and the pistons of 1.4i comapred to 1.4iS are slightly different but I am not completely sure,I did the same to my civic with the air restrictor change,it definitely feels much better😁
@@danielbiren4646is that really the only difference between the 2 engines? also how much did it cost you to make the change? I am thinking about getting a 75hp ej9 myself
I had the same, the dealer had changed it from 75 to 90PS. If you revved it, it was quite quick in the first 3 gears. Good ol‘ times…
What i need to change on my ej9 that i have 90HP? Thanks

@@danielbiren4646 damn that's very low oprimal fuel consuption, i plan on buying 5dr MB2 with 75hp.
wow very nice dan!!
I'm about to do the same, any differences in fuel consumption ?(in everyday driving)?
If you drive normally, it wont consume more fuel. But of course if you push the car it consumes a little bit more because it has a little more power.
@@danielbiren4646 Thank you brother for the quick Response., Keep Safe
My 90hp civic takes like 12s to 100 :(
Its freaky, my ej9 0-100 takes >10s
What did u change ?
Took out the factory air restrictor from the 1.4i, and changed it to the normal gasket of the 1.4iS.
@@danielbiren4646 same ecu though?
@@Cypress_green Yess no ECU changed

Wow, this is as Fast as my Chevy Cruze 2012 which has over 138 HP. Damm , the Cruze is very slow for a 1.8L engine. Chevy Cars are garbage.
This is the same car 🙄
Of course it is as it is explained in the description
