You can try but it takes a lot of rice flour and the proportions might change

Hello Hema - tried this recipe today - the murukku was breaking into tiny pieces while pressing it through the mould. Request you to please let me know where did I go wrong.

If the dough becomes dry or if you've added too much oil or butter it can become like that ( if you feel the Dough is dry just add a few drops of water or just dab a little water with fingers and mix it once before making it. Try it on a plate first to see if it's ok then fry in oil

Made it today ..the taste is superb but had two issues...while squeezing the murukku dough..it was breaking couldn't make it in circles and 2 when made the dough it was smooth most n non sticky to hand but it was not forming a complete dough would break into two big balls...is there anything that needs to be done for this
If the dough is very hard, you need to add a little water and make it soft. You will get the murukku circles easily. 😊👍
