Nice video and beautiful recipe Sanjyot! Chakli, for me is an emotion! My mother would make beautiful Chaklis from Bhajani. She would roast each and every ingredient separately on low aanch, which would make the entire house smell amazing then would get the Bhajani ground from chakki, crisp oct- nov air, me and my brother eagerly getting up around 5 am in the morning, waiting for my mother to give us Abhyang Snan with Ubtan and oil, so that we would go and burst Patakhas in our new clothes and then come back home for this delicious treat!! I miss that Diwali! I miss bachpan ❤️❤️
In South India, chakkli is generally made with rice flour instead of maida. In our home, we add urad dal flour to the rice flour to enhance the flavour and texture. I will try your maida-based chakkli recipe; it seems different from the taste we grew up with.

I always add 3 types flour.....wheat flour sabse zyada then besan usse one fourth cup nd rice flour usse bhi kum like 2tbs....and rest process same...bt mast hoti meri vi...😊❤

Can you also try a unique recipe please - sakarpara (namakpare) using ragi/jowar/bajri flour Would be very helpful with our toddlers when we're avoiding All purpose flour and whole wheat flour with them.

Sanjoyt. For cooking oil always use cold pressed oil. In this natural process no external add-ons needed. Safflower is best for Heart. One has to ensure while buying cold pressed oil is that it's actually cold pressed and nothing is blended. Salt use Himalayan pick salt.
