Happy I could clear that up for you. Another question was answered this morning. We were having pur coffee and heard a tree fall in the forest out here. We didn't see it happen but it did make a sound. Even Tildy heard it while chomping on her chewbone :-))

I am glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Thanks again for the video. I had little sparrow build a nest in my Rose Tree. The Rose Tree was in my garage in a container all Winter. I had planned on planting it in the Spring. Well I did finally get it planted. But I had to water the tree & mow the lawn along the sidewalk where the tree was. Now I am getting those containers ready for planting Tulips. I have a lot of deer & rabbits that love Tulips. Maybe the tulips will survive.

Learned something new. I didnt know what a phoebe was until i looked it up. Ive always called them flycatchers which i guess is the same thing. Cool.
Yes they are one of the flycatcher species.

Glad you're feeling better JC. Guess you got your answer on the plant situation. The crap they're spraying is definitely having a negative effect on plants, wildlife and human health. They won't be happy until they poison everything.

That was hilarious! Does a bear poop in the woods? Or, how about, "If a bear poops in the woods, does anyone see or smell it?" Ha Ha - in your case, the answer is yes. Hey - wonder where that mouse got all that fluff to build its nest in the nest from?
Boss my brother died last week
From the same thing ,he had leukemia
And could not fight it .

I've gotten 7 cukes 1 crookneck and 3 watermelon the size of tennis balls .
The sun has been so fiercely hot it burned them all ,a complete wash out .
Even covered the plants withered under the strong UV ,
Me too I feel a little withered myself ,and ready for a change of seasons .

Very sorry to hear about your brother my friend. My condolences to you and yours. The only good harvest we have this year is corn and cukes. Everything else has done poorly ;-(
We have a pair Eastern Phoebes that makes their home in the crook of one of our gutter down spouts. It is entertaining to watch them sit on a tree branch, swoop down and catch a bug and take it to the nest to feed.
They sure are good bug catchers :-))

Im glad you’re feeling better Boss. I have been so sick and today is day 11. I didn’t think I could make it. I went to er from the dehydration and pain. The weakness, and sickness was so awful. Im still so very weak. I had no strength to even hold a glass of water let alone a book. That bear is too close for comfort. He’s trying to mark his territory. I hope you accomplish all you need. The garden and the pig looked amazing. Take care both of you and Tildy.

One of the symptoms people were having from the last couple years was loss of taste and or smell. That is also an indicator of low zinc levels. One person that tried to speak out and died from cancer suggested D, C, Zinc and Quercetin. Which would help your body better utilize the zinc. Zinc is very important for health. I just found a little bear scat on my property. It looked just like a bigger pile of bear scat I recently found in Elk county PA while photographing elk. I wish I would see the bear so I could photograph them. Maybe it will be easier to see them after the leaves have fallen. It's amazing how well a big black animal can hide in the woods.

There are related videos on my "contradictions" video 5 videos ago with a couple other interesting things. I'm trying to be more vague because the comments were removed. The original is on CC where the one person had a show. Search their names on CC. Also lilac bushes lost their leaves in our area earlier on and then tried to grow again.
After reading this, I was expecting to find your comment in my (Held for review) list but it's not there. Utube likes to put the kebash to topics like this. I'll find it one way or another. @@Dashbshots

Mice are welcome at my house. So welcome, in fact, I make sure they have use of a 5 gallon swimming pool that is equipped with a diving board and pool side snacks.
I admit, I'm a bad innkeeper; I neglected to post a sign on pool that states "No Lifeguard. Swim At Own Risk".

If I remember right there is solid rock under your garden with only a few inches of soil. Could it be that the soil there is tapped out of nutrients? The first year you had a garden there it went crazy. Does the stuff planted in the green house get fresh soil and compost when you first plant it. The fact that the corn is planted in a different area and is growing great also points to this.
With the deep mulching method that we use, the soil IMPROVES each year due to the decomposing compost that is added to it every season. The greenhouse beds don't get nearly the same amount of nutrients as outdoors. The forest in our region continues to get worse each and every year. The leaves look sicker than ever. All my friend's gardens are sick as well.
