    1. Learn to open the door and let people in. (It is ok when someone doesn’t like u)
    2. Assume everyone is in the same position.
    3. Be the bigger person. (Make the first move)
    4. Normalise rejection & detach from the outcome.
    5. Change your internal dialogue. (Tell yourself it can be a good experience)
    6. Practice being present, scan the room. (Bring down your nervous system so you are not in fight or flight mode)
    7. Slow down, feel your feelings. (There’s no need to always rush to take action)
    8. Take your time, get into your flow, find the right energy for you in the room (So u can show up in a healthy calm way)
    9. Leaving your house, change your environment, put yrself in new places.
    10. Acknowledge people’s existence.
    11. Be present and listen, you’ll naturally be curious and have a better flow of conversation.
    12. Practice being curious and act on the thoughts. (Train yrself and have a chat with people)
    13. Take things slow and nurture your friendship.
    14. Don’t limit yourself, change what is on the inside and your outside world will reflect. Hope this helps! :)

You shared this at the right time. I’ve been trying to make new friends and get comfortable doing things on my own like I use to when I was younger. I miss out on so many things I’m interested in b/c I feel I need to have someone with me all the time. Like you said I’m blocking myself. I love your videos. Keep that good energy coming beautiful❤❤❤

Not walking around with a resting b*tch face was the biggest learning curve for me. I had no idea I even looked like that 😂 When it comes to solidifying new connections, I’ve found vulnerability goes a long way 💕
    Some really helpful insights Elicia♥️

i needed this video! i’ve always loved the idea of talking to people, but when faced with it i get too in my head. i get scared they’d have a negative reaction to either me, my curiosity, or the questions i ask them and it would leave me overwhelmed and frozen.
you’re so right about just letting go, staying in your body, and just going with what you want and respecting everyone’s boundaries. just taking things slow, staying present and seeing what happens. 💞💕✨

Another video that is absolutely hitting home. I get in my own way wayyy to much and am blocking my ability to make friends. Deep down I feel so called to talking to random strangers but my fear of rejection or embarrassment is hindering me. Lots of inner child work to be done there! Thanks for your tips and wonderful perspectives, I need all of this energy🧡🧡🧡

wow! this really grounded me and showed me how to be more social. Recently I’ve been really trying to get myself out there especially at my school. I’ve been talking to more people and making myself more approachable to others. But I seemly still felt anxious, etc. When you explained that you have to really just let go and observe your surroundings, It really made me understand that wow. It’s not that I can’t make friends, it’s the simple fact that I am so into myself! you’ve really given me a brighter and more clear perspective on approaching others and being open to people❤

As someome who.needs simple, clean and effective skin care i love fresh!
Its one of the only brands i get gooood effects from, that doesnt do to much and irritate my face! Or make it dry and tight. Or break out the next day or 2 days later!
SO many other brands do, and people seear by them, but they just fuck my skin up.... but fresh has yet to do that to me! Been using it for 2 yrs now got my mom on the rose hyaluronic acid moisturizer and we both loooooove it!

When trying to talk to someone new at a gathering I feel like a predictor stalking prey. The farther i have to walk to get to that person the more pronounced the feeling. I feel like a creep, a stalker. As a result i don't initiate contact with people.

Ok so then they aren’t for you. I’ve mentioned in this video that there are going to be people who are just not meant for you/your cup of tea. Don’t let these people be the reason why you look at friendships as something that you’re not able to achieve.

There is no way you can know that if you don't interact with them. It sucks but you'll have to test the waters to see if other people reciprocate if they don't you just move on
