How about a one-off Vanquish collaboration mystery box 😂 60 bucks with vp wheels, servo and fusion for no reason
The hot wheels in the tray at the back looks like an rc car, so just 3d print a mini radio and its a scale accessorie!
You could print a tiny rc transmitter to go with your hotwheels. That way it looks like a full size truck with some rc cars in the bed
Fast and Fordyce! I like it. Also, having to buy Hot Wheels is not bad luck. It’s just investing in a different asset class. Besides, Hot Wheels look like 1/6 scale RC cars. Toss them in the basket, print a few Remote Controls to go on the seats, and instant scale accessories! I do love how you have a small box of scale parts and Matt has a whole workshop of scale parts.
In the first episode before you spun you made a prediction you would have 8 weeks of hell with the wheel.

There is a commonly used expression in competitive sports that basically states that if you aren’t willing to get away with cheating then you aren’t trying hard enough. I dunno, when all else fails i say f. it and just build the truck you envision. As much as we have all enjoyed watching you squirm you know what we all want to see in the end....a cool, cool build😊

I think the idea is reflective of an average Joe budgeting for rc weekly. Sometimes you have more extra and sometimes less. However doing a VS like this given different amounts weekly doesn’t come out very fair. If they both went by the one spin it would be more equal. Both builds help people see options out there to do and get though.
That's an idea, one spin for both of them. Then we see how each of them maneuver the same budget and problems. Plus the budget ends up closer ro identical. One guy getting all the good luck could end up with hundreds $$ extra. Idk fun premise you have!
Norm. I'd say pull a Princess Bride move and switch the drinks on Matt lol But seriously, you might want to start basing your next week on those other worse options you mentioned so you at least have more time to prepare your last shot

It would be cool to see a "budget Build" where you spend no money but can only use "spare" parts and a 3-D printer. Basically reuse the best takeoffs from previous builds.
Just audition everything for the last week or change the wheel so every space is Recycle Week!

If you'd "prototyped" the parts you've designed yourself you'd have a little more budget, or maybe just get parts that are not available (discontinued etc.) so they don't have a retail value
I would buy 2 servos a really cheap one and then the one you want and if they get mixed up buy mistake opps 🤷🏻♂️

Can you confirm which builders kit you are talking about? Just about all the kits came with the S8E though.

Josh,(also my little btothers name).This may be a little long but i feel i need to explain myself so as not to sound like a troll.I have been watching and admiring your videos for awhile now,I think your a very intelligent ,creative,knowledgeable and lucky guy.All that being said the one thing i have to say is you need to be more grateful about all of the free shit that you get ( I know your in the industry and you get free shit all of the time ) but it kind of comes across as arrogance and i dont think thats really who you are.I dont know it may just be me being admittedly a little jealous but this is a pricey hobby and most people especially kids cant afford having an rc addiction at the level you and i are at. I dont know maybe raffle off your extra shit or donate ,give back alittle?
