- I wanted a new build for Axialfest, but I had no idea how out of hand things would get. This is one of my most engineered builds to date. I hope you all enjoy the new style build video! The Axial Adventures Base Camp Builders Kit was a solid choice for this build and the quick deadline made me get really hustle!

That is a great idea!! I’d love to learn this skill set for sure and do atleast one a month for some side cash. This is for sure a mind blowing and super clean build!
The background music really goes with how meditative I find it to watch your design and build process. My attention to detail can occasionally be a detriment in my daily life, so your videos give me a non-intrusive fix. 3D printing seems overwhelming to me due to my frustration with computers, but the more I watch your builds the more I want to finally learn to weld. Josh, that was a perfect video. Length, the voice over, subject, seriously. I think Axial naming it "Base camp" is entirely ridiculous, but you took the essence of the name, "starting point", and made an absolute work of art.

I often find it hard to sit down and spend the time to watch your live sessions and so, I miss a lot of the details on many of your builds. This video was PERFECT, showcased the build and the finer points of tackling a project like this and only a bit over 30 minutes. I hope you'll consider doing a lot more builds this way (even if you do discuss it live)! Thank-you 👍
I understand the difficulty with watching long live videos. This is the type of video I prefer for documenting a build and do plan to do more in this style.

Another amazing build, Josh, The video was fantastic, in part because of the anticipation that built up from your teasers reels on Instagram. Those all lead to this full video very well. The final video I think had just enough detail to cover each aspect of the build. Without going in to great on any one part of your design/build process. Which you’ve put out plenty of other video content that covers those aspect of the design process in more detail. Fantastic job, sir, on both build and the video.

Truck looks badass. Superb build. It may not be appropriate for yer applications but, table top epoxy is self leveling. You don't have to sand it. Once again, yer build skills and "use of technology" are top notch 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘
That came out looking awesome Josh. I really dig what you did with the acrylic the Cadillac symbol the red glow that was hot. Funny thing about the black with the gold flake we must have been on the same wavelength cuz that's what I did with the roof section of my Phoenix. The main colors Tamiya Candy lime green with the roof done in black with a gold flake I call the color golden Twilight LOL

The single rear tail light seems a little off. Maybe add some rock lights inside the wheel fenders and some headlights. Boom perfect.

I have a build off idea for you and scale builders guild for beginner crawlers. You set a budget of lets say 1000 dollars this must include cost of truck charger batteries upgrades and tools used in the build off the way you used to do the budget builds. Which is how I found your channel in the first place. This video is awesome btw!
A little more is that you don’t even have to pick the same truck(the one you each feel is the better one for beginners) and if you all are given parts just subtract the cost of the parts from the budget. And not saying go out and buy new tools but subtract the cost of some decent tools. The end result just needs to be something you would take out with your friends and crawl with it. Was thinking maybe it could be a winter project.
